Description

Embodiments described herein relate generally to a passenger conveyor control device and a passenger conveyor inspection operation method.

The passenger conveyor circulates between one boarding gate and the other boarding gate with a plurality of steps connected endlessly.

At the time of maintenance inspection, inspection is often performed by removing the steps constituting the passenger conveyor. If the opening formed in the trace after removing the step passes through the truss and is exposed to the front side from the entrance / exit, the inspection worker does not notice the opening and the inspection worker may fall into the opening .

Conventionally, it has been common for an inspection worker to visually check the opening.

However, if the opening during circulation travels into the truss from the front side, the inspection worker must predict that the opening will come out to the front side next time. It is difficult to pay attention to the opening as it is constantly exposed during the work.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION An object of the present invention is to provide a passenger conveyor control device and a passenger conveyor inspection operation method capable of stopping the step running before the opening generated by removing the step is exposed to the front side and notifying the approach of the opening. It is to provide.

In the embodiment for achieving the above object, a plurality of steps are connected endlessly so as to travel while being exposed from one entrance / exit side to the front side and repeating circulation traveling into the truss from the other entrance / exit side. A control device for controlling a passenger conveyor, which is provided in the vicinity of the one entrance / exit in the truss and near the other entrance / exit, respectively, and an opening detection sensor for detecting an opening generated when a step is removed, When the opening is detected by the alarm unit that sounds an alarm sound and the opening detection sensor, the operation of the passenger conveyor is temporarily stopped and the alarm sound is sounded from the alarm unit for a certain period of time. And an operation control unit for notifying the approach of the vehicle.

<First Embodiment>
Hereinafter, specific embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. In the following, as an example of a passenger conveyor to which the present invention is applied, an escalator that conveys passengers across the upper and lower floors by moving a number of steps continuously up and down in a staircase shape will be described. In addition, the present invention can be effectively applied to a moving sidewalk (auto road) that conveys passengers by continuously moving a number of steps horizontally.

As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the escalator 1 of the present embodiment includes a truss 2 fixed and supported by a building across an upper floor and a lower floor, and a pair of left and right balustrades erected on the truss 2. A panel 3 and a number of steps 5 provided in the width direction of the balustrade panel 3 and guided by rails 4 are provided.

The step 5 is formed by connecting a plurality of endlessly, and repeats the circulating travel that is exposed from the one side of the entrance / exit to the front side and enters the truss 2 from the side of the other entrance / exit.

Around the balustrade panel 3, a handrail belt 7 that circulates in synchronization with the travel of the step 5 is mounted. A skirt guard panel 9 is installed at a position facing the step 5 at the lower part of the balustrade panel 3 along the moving direction of a number of steps 5. A space between the balustrade panel 3 and the skirt guard panel 9 is covered with an inner deck 11, and an outer deck 15 is provided outside the balustrade panel 3.

A board / alight board 17 is provided at each entrance of the upper floor and the lower floor, and a comb plate 19 is provided between the board / board 17 and the steps 5. An operation panel 21 is provided on the skirt guard panel 9 in the vicinity of the entrance / exit, and the operation panel 21 is provided with a Bz (buzzer) switch 23, a key switch 25, and the like.

The Bz switch 23 of the operation panel 21 is a buzzer switch (or alarm switch), and is connected to the control panel 29 of the machine room 27 by a signal line. When the inspection worker wants to switch the driving direction, or when he wants to operate from the driving side to the stopping side, or conversely, when he wants to operate from the stopping side to the driving side, the buzzer is sounded to notify that.

The key switch 25 is also referred to as an operation switch, and switches the operation direction and switches between driving and stopping.

A machine room 27 is provided in the truss 2 on the back surface side of the boarding / alighting plate 17. The machine room 27 has a control panel 29 and a drive motor that is controlled by the control panel 29 and rotates the drive wheels to drive the steps 5. 31 and a buzzer 32 are installed.

In the present embodiment, in particular, step detection sensors (opening detection sensors) 35A and 35B made up of a light emitting element and a light receiving element are provided in the truss 2 in order to detect the opening 33 formed at the mark where the step 5 is removed. Is provided. The step detection sensors (opening detection sensors) 35 </ b> A and 35 </ b> B are provided in the truss 2 in the vicinity of one of the entrances and in the vicinity of the other entrance.

As shown in FIG. 3, the installation location of the step detection sensors 35A and 35B is preferably in the vicinity of the drive wheel that reverses the step 5. When the step 5 circulates clockwise, the step detection sensor 35A is provided before the step 5 is exposed to the front side from the truss 2, and detects before the opening 33 is exposed to the front side. In the case of circulating in the counterclockwise direction, the position immediately after entering the truss 2 from the front side is detected, and it is detected that the opening 33 has entered the truss 2 from the front side. The same applies to the installation location of the step detection sensor 35B. The height position where the step detection sensors 35A and 35B are installed is a height at which it can be detected that the step 5 is removed and the opening 33 is formed.

The control panel 29 and the step detection sensors 35A and 35B are connected by a signal line, and when the opening detection signal is output from the step detection sensor 35A while circulating in the clockwise direction, the drive motor is stopped. Then, the driving of the step 5 is stopped. Further, when the opening detection signal is output from the step detection sensor 35B while circulating in the clockwise direction, the ringing of the buzzer 32 is stopped. On the contrary, when the opening detection signal is output from the step detection sensor 35B while circulating in the counterclockwise direction, the drive motor is stopped to stop the driving of the step 5. Further, when the opening detection signal is output from the step detection sensor 35A while circulating in the counterclockwise direction, the ringing of the buzzer 32 is stopped.

FIG. 4 is a flowchart illustrating a processing procedure according to the first embodiment.

Assume that the step 5 of the escalator 1 is circulating in the clockwise direction from the lower floor to the upper floor. At this time, detection light for detecting the step 5 is emitted from the light emitting elements of the step detection sensors 35A and 35B on the lower floor and the upper floor.

In the normal operation state in which the opening 33 is not formed, the detection light is blocked by the step 5, and the light receiving element does not receive the detection light. When the step 5 is removed and the opening 33 is formed during maintenance and inspection (YES in step S1), it is understood that the opening 33 is formed in the step 5 because the light receiving element receives the detection light. Thereby, the step detection sensor 35 </ b> A recognizes that the opening 33 is formed and outputs an opening detection signal to the control panel 29.

When the opening detection signal from the step detection sensor 35A is detected for a predetermined time (for example, 1 second or more), the operation of the escalator 1 is temporarily stopped not as a false detection but as the opening 33 is generated. (Step S2). If the opening detection signal from the step detection sensor 35A is less than a predetermined time (for example, less than 1 second), it is determined that there is a high possibility of erroneous detection, and the operation of the escalator is not stopped.

When the opening 33 is detected, the operation of the escalator 1 is temporarily stopped, a buzzer sounding command is output from the control panel 29 to the buzzer 32, and the buzzer 32 sounds (step S3). Thereby, the inspection worker can know in advance that the opening 33 approaches and is exposed to the front side.

When the inspection worker recognizes the approach of the opening 33 by the stopped state of the escalator 1 and the buzzer and turns on the operation key of the key switch 25 (step S4 YES), the operation of the escalator 1 is resumed (step S5). .

When the operation is resumed, the step 5 moves to the upper floor with the opening 33 exposed to the front side. Then, the step 5 enters the truss 2 from the entrance on the upper floor, and when the opening 33 is detected by the step detection sensor 35B (step S6 YES), the buzzer sound is stopped (step S7). Thereby, it is notified that the opening 33 has entered the truss 2 side from the front side.

As described above, in the first embodiment, when the opening 33 is detected by the opening detection sensor 35B before being exposed to the front side, the operation is temporarily stopped. Further, the buzzer 32 is sounded simultaneously with the stop of the operation. After restarting the operation, the buzzer 32 is sounded until the opening 33 that has entered the truss side is detected by the opening detection sensor 35B. Therefore, it is possible to reliably notify that the opening 33 is exposed on the front side. Workers can concentrate on work with peace of mind.

Second Embodiment
Next, a second embodiment will be described. Since the configuration of the second embodiment is the same as that of the first embodiment shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, only the operation of the second embodiment will be described based on the flowchart of FIG.

As shown in FIG. 5, when the step 5 is removed and the opening 33 is formed during maintenance and inspection (YES in step S <b> 11), the light receiving element receives detection light, so the opening 33 is formed in the step 5. I understand that.

(Step S12).

Since the operation of the escalator 1 is temporarily stopped when the opening 33 is detected, the inspection worker can know in advance that the opening 33 is approaching and exposed to the front side.

After the escalator 1 is stopped, when the inspection worker turns on the operation key of the key switch 25 (step S13 YES), the operation of the escalator 1 is resumed (step S14). At the time when the operation is resumed, a buzzer sounding command is output from the control panel 29 to the buzzer 32, and the buzzer 32 sounds (step S15). Thereby, it is notified that the opening portion 33 is in a state of traveling while being exposed to the front side.

When moving to the upper floor with the opening 33 exposed on the front side, the step 5 enters the truss 2 from the entrance on the upper floor, and the opening 33 is detected by the step detection sensor 35B (YES in step S16). As a result, the buzzer 32 stops ringing (step S17), and it is notified that the opening 33 has entered the truss 2 side from the front side.

As described above, in the second embodiment, the sounding timing of the buzzer 32 is set to the time when the inspection worker turns on the operation key and restarts the operation. For this reason, since the buzzer 32 can be sounded only for the time when the opening part 33 is exposed to the front side, the inspection worker carries out the inspection work efficiently and safely without being bothered by the buzzer sound. be able to.

In each embodiment, the step detection sensors 35A and 35B are provided at two locations on the lower floor and the upper floor. However, the step detection sensors 35A and 35B may be provided at appropriate locations between the upper floor and the lower floor, or at multiple locations. May be installed. By configuring in this manner, not only the opening near the entrance / exit but also the opening generated near the middle point can be detected, and the safety is further improved.

Further, in each embodiment, the alarm sound is a buzzer sound, but it may be a chime or an alarm by sound of “approaching opening”.

As mentioned above, although some embodiment of this invention was described, these embodiment is shown as an example and is not intending limiting the range of invention. These novel embodiments can be implemented in various other forms, and various omissions, replacements, and changes can be made without departing from the scope of the invention. These embodiments and modifications thereof are included in the scope and gist of the invention, and are included in the invention described in the claims and the equivalents thereof.
