Claims (5)
- 消色可能な色材により画像が形成された記録媒体を所定の設定温度で加熱する消色部と、
前記消色部を所定の搬送速度で駆動する駆動部と、
次ジョブが無い場合の設定情報として、前記記録媒体の複数の印字率の各々に、前記消色部の設定温度と、前記駆動部の搬送速度とが関連付けられた第1設定情報と、次ジョブが有る場合の設定情報として、前記記録媒体の複数の印字率の各々に、前記消色部の設定温度と、前記駆動部の搬送速度とが関連付けられた第2設定情報と、を記憶する記憶部と、
次ジョブが無い場合、前記記憶部の前記第1設定情報の前記記録媒体の所定の印字率に対応する設定温度と搬送速度に基づいて、前記消色部を駆動するように制御し、次ジョブが有る場合、前記記憶部の前記第2設定情報の前記記録媒体の前記所定の印字率に対応する設定温度と搬送速度に基づいて、前記消色部を駆動するように制御する制御部と、
を有する消色装置。 - 前記第1設定情報の前記記録媒体の複数の印字率の各々には、同一の搬送速度が関連付けられるとともに、前記記録媒体の印字率が大きくなるほど、高い設定温度が関連付けられ、
前記第2設定情報の前記記録媒体の複数の印字率の各々には、同一の設定温度が関連付けられるとともに、前記記録媒体の印字率が大きくなるほど、低い搬送速度が関連付けられ、
前記第1設定情報の前記記録媒体の複数の印字率の各々に関連付けられた設定温度は、前記第2設定情報の同一の設定温度以下であり、
前記第2設定情報の前記記録媒体の複数の印字率の各々に関連付けられた搬送速度は、前記第1設定情報の同一の搬送速度以上である、請求項1に記載の消色装置。 - 前記記録媒体の印字率を入力するユーザインターフェースをさらに有する、請求項1または2に記載の消色装置。
- 複数のカセットをさらに有し、
前記制御部は、前記カセットに収納される記録媒体の印字率を、カセット毎に設定し、
印字率が小さい記録媒体を収納するよう設定されたカセットから記録媒体の消色を行うよう制御する、請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の消色装置。 - 前記複数のカセットは、記録媒体の残量を検知する残量検知センサを各々有し、
前記制御部は、前記残量検知センサが所定の印字率の記録媒体が収納されたカセットの残量が所定の量以下であることを検知した場合には、前記記憶部に記憶された前記第1設定情報から、前記所定の印字率より印字率が大きい場合の設定温度と搬送速度に基づいて前記消色部を駆動するように制御する、
請求項4に記載の消色装置。
