Claims (8)
- 屈折焦点(Fr)と回折構造とを有する多焦点レンズであって、
前記回折構造(5)は、レンズ(1)の半径方向(r)で、半径の2乗(r2)についてプロットした場合に周期的なプロファイル(6,7,8,9)を有し、
前記プロファイル(6,7,8,9)は、それぞれの結合個所(10,11,12,13)で微分不可能に互いに接する4つの区域(6,7,8,9)を周期ごとに有するものにおいて、
第1の区域(9)が単調減少するとともに他の3つの区域(6,7,8)が単調増加し、または第1の区域(9)が単調増加するとともに他の3つの区域(6,7,8)が単調減少し、
前記他の区域のうち前記第1の区域(9)に接していない区域(7)はそれ以外の両方の他の区域(6,8)よりも大きい傾斜を有することを特徴とする多焦点レンズ。 - 前記区域(6,7,8,9)は、半径の2乗(r2)についてプロットした場合に、直線状であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の多焦点レンズ。
- 前記第1の区域(9)は実質的に垂直であることを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載の多焦点レンズ。
- 前記他の区域のうち前記第1の区域(9)に接していない区域(7)は実質的に垂直であることを特徴とする、請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の多焦点レンズ。
- 前記第1の区域(9)にそれぞれ接する2つの他の区域(6,8)は実質的に等しい傾斜を有することを特徴とする、請求項1から4のいずれか1項に記載の多焦点レンズ。
- 前記第1の区域(9)にそれぞれ接している2つの他の区域(6,8)は、半径の2乗(r2)についてプロットした場合に1μm/mm2から10μm/mm2の傾斜を有することを特徴とする、請求項1から5のいずれか1項に記載の多焦点レンズ。
- 前記プロファイル(6,7,8,9)の周期(p)は、半径の2乗についてプロットした場合に0.5mm2から1mm2であり、プロファイル深さ(T)は2μmから10μmであることを特徴とする、請求項1から6のいずれか1項に記載の多焦点レンズ。
- 前記多焦点レンズは眼内レンズまたはコンタクトレンズであることを特徴とする、請求項1から7のいずれか1項に記載の多焦点レンズ。
