Abstract
Description

図7はガスケット100の別の製造方法を示すものであり、一般的に符号700で参照される。方法700は、工程705におけるPTFEロッドの形成工程、工程710におけるPTFEロッドを積層する(laminate)ことによるPTFEテープ300の形成工程、工程715におけるPTFEテープ300の乾燥工程、工程720におけるPTFEテープ300の延伸工程、工程725におけるPTFEテープ300を渦巻状に成形することによるPTFEシリンダ315の形成工程、工程730におけるPTFEシリンダ315の圧縮工程、工程735におけるPTFEシリンダ315の焼結工程、および工程740におけるPTFEシリンダ315を半径方向に切断する工程を含む。
Claims (30)
- ガスケット厚さと、ガスケット内径と、ガスケット外径とを有するガスケットの製造方法であって、
前記ガスケット内径に一致する外径を有する軸の周りに積層PTFEテープを巻いて、前記ガスケット外径に一致する外径を有するPTFEシリンダを作製する工程と、
前記PTFEシリンダを焼結する工程と、
前記PTFEシリンダの半径方向の部分を取り外して前記ガスケットを形成する工程であって、前記半径方向の部分は前記ガスケットの厚さに一致する厚さを有する工程とを有するものである
方法。 - 請求項1記載の方法において、前記PTFEシリンダを乾燥させる工程を更に有するものである方法。
- 請求項1記載の方法において、前記積層PTFEテープを乾燥させる工程を更に有するものである方法。
- 請求項1記載の方法において、前記PTFEシリンダを鋳型内で圧縮する工程を更に有するものである方法。
- 請求項1記載の方法において、ポリマーテープを前記軸の周りに巻き付ける工程を更に有するものである方法。
- 請求項1記載の方法において、前記積層PTFEテープを延伸させる工程を更に有するものである方法。
- 請求項1記載の方法において、PTFEビレットを積層して前記積層PTFEテープを形成する工程を更に有するものである方法。
- 請求項1記載の方法において、前記積層PTFEテープは、一軸拡張させた積層PTFEテープ、二軸拡張させた積層PTFEテープ、または多軸拡張させた積層PTFEテープである方法。
- 請求項1記載の方法において、前記積層PTFEテープは充填材を含むものである方法。
- 請求項9記載の方法において、前記充填材は無機充填材である方法。
- 請求項5記載の方法において、前記ポリマーテープは不透水性ポリマーテープである方法。
- 請求項5記載の方法において、前記ポリマーテープは、ポリテトラフルオロエチレン、エチレンテトラフルオロエチレン、パーフルオロアルコキシ、テトラフルオロエチレン・パーフルオロ共重合体、およびフルオロエチレンプロピレンのうち少なくとも1つを有するものである方法。
- 請求項1記載の方法によって製造されるガスケット。
- ガスケット厚さと、ガスケット内径と、ガスケット外径とを有するガスケットの製造方法であって、
前記ガスケット内径に一致する外径を有する軸の周りに積層PTFEストリップを巻き付けて、前記ガスケット外径に一致する外径を有するPTFEディスクを作製する工程と、
前記PTFEディスクを焼結する工程とを有するものである
方法。 - 請求項14記載の方法において、前記PTFEディスクを圧縮する工程を更に有するものである方法。
- 請求項14記載の方法において、前記シャフトの周りにポリマーストリップを巻き付ける工程を更に有するものである方法。
- 請求項14記載の方法において、前記シャフトの周りに金属製ストリップを巻き付ける工程を更に有するものである方法。
- 請求項14記載の方法において、PTFEビレットを積層にして積層PTFEテープを形成する工程を更に有するものである方法。
- 請求項18記載の方法において、前記積層PTFEテープを乾燥させる工程を更に有するものである方法。
