Claims (8)
- 液滴吐出装置であって、
a.複数の吐出ユニット(28)を含むノズルヘッド(10)であり、各吐出ユニットが、ノズル(12)、ノズルに接続されたダクト(16)であって、ダクト内の液体を受け入れるための液体供給流路に流体的に連通されるダクト(16)、および、ノズル(12)から液体の液滴を放出するようにダクト(16)内の液体に圧力波を発生させるように配置される電気機械変換器(22)を備える、ノズルヘッド(10)と、
b.変換器(22)に制御信号を印加し、変換器が圧力変動にさらされることに応じて変換器に生成される検出信号を受信するように配置される電子制御回路(32)と
を備え、
ノズルヘッド(10)は、基準ダクト(42)であって、基準ダクトが液体を含まないままであるようにその基準ダクトが液体供給流路に流体的に連通されない、基準ダクト(42)と、基準電気機械変換器(44)とを持つ基準ユニットをさらに備え、
制御回路(32)が、
吐出ユニット(28)のうちの少なくとも1つの変換器(22)の検出信号から基準電気機械変換器(44)の検出信号を減算するための減算回路と、
吐出ユニットの状態を決定するために減算回路の出力を解析するための解析回路と
を備える、液滴吐出装置。 - 吐出ユニット(28)の変換器(22)および基準変換器(44)が圧電変換器である、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 制御回路(32)が、吐出ユニット(28)のうちの前記少なくとも1つの変換器(22)の静電容量および基準変換器(44)の静電容量と共にブリッジ回路を構成する2つのブリッジ平衡要素(68、70)を備える、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 制御回路(32)が、ブリッジ回路に接続される比較器(72)および平衡回路(74)を含む、請求項3に記載の装置。
- 制御回路(32)が、吐出ユニットの変換器(22)に印加されるべき制御信号を生成するための波形発生器(54)を含み、前記波形発生器が、各個々の変換器(22)のための別々の出力を有し、制御回路(32)が、波形発生器(54)の各出力を、検出信号を減算するために検出回路(58)を介して直接的または間接的に関連する変換器(22)に選択的に接続するために配置されるスイッチ(60、62、64、66)のネットワークを持つ出力段(56)をさらに備える、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 制御回路(32)が、吐出ユニット(28)のうちの前記少なくとも1つの変換器(22)に、およびまた基準変換器(44)に制御信号を印加するように配置される、請求項5に記載の装置。
- 複数の吐出ユニットの各々が液体量を保持し、基準ユニットが液体を含まない、請求項1に記載の液滴吐出装置についての吐出ユニットの状態を決定する方法であって、
a.吐出ユニットの変換器を作動させることによって吐出ユニットのうちの少なくとも1つ内の液体に圧力波を発生させるステップと、
b.基準ユニットの基準変換器を作動させるステップと、
c.吐出ユニット(28)のうちの少なくとも1つの変換器(22)の検出信号から基準電気機械変換器(44)の検出信号を減算するステップと、
d.ステップcから生じる信号を解析することによって吐出ユニットの状態を決定するステップと
を含む方法。 - ステップa、b、およびcが、同時に開始され、ステップcは、ステップaおよびbが停止された後に一定時間の間継続される、請求項7に記載の方法。
