Claims (20)
- 単回使用生物反応器のためのpHセンサであって、
pH検知電極と、
参照電解質と、前記参照電解質の中に配設された参照電極と、参照接点とを含む参照システムと、
保存液を収容する保存コンパートメントであって、前記保存液が、前記保存コンパートメント内部の前記pH検知電極に接触するように構成される、保存コンパートメントと、
始動されると、前記pH検知電極を、前記単回使用生物反応器の内部に結合するように構成されたアクセス機構と、を備え、
前記保存液が、前記参照電解質と適合する緩衝液を含む、pHセンサ。 - 前記参照システムが、銀/塩化銀参照システムであり、前記参照電解質が、塩化カリウムである、請求項1に記載のpHセンサ。
- 前記保存液が、リン酸塩系緩衝液を含む、請求項1に記載のpHセンサ。
- 前記保存液が、カーボン系緩衝液を含む、請求項1に記載のpHセンサ。
- 前記保存液が、略0.10モルの塩化カリウム溶液を含む、請求項1に記載のpHセンサ。
- 前記保存液が、前記アクセス機構の始動に先立って前記pHセンサを較正するための既知のpHを有する、請求項1に記載のpHセンサ。
- 試料溶液のpHを検出するように構成された検知電極と、
参照電解質と、前記参照電解質の中に配設された参照電極と、参照接点とを含む参照システムと、
配置に先立って前記検知電極を収納するように構成された保存コンパートメントであって、前記参照接点と流体結合された、保存コンパートメントと、
前記検知電極と接触するように構成された、前記保存コンパートメント内部の保存液であって、前記保存液のpHを変化させることなく、前記参照接点を通した流体漏れを可能にするように構成された緩衝溶液を含む、保存液と、を備える、pHセンサ。 - 前記試料溶液が、生菌を含み、保存液が、前記試料溶液に対して略不活性であるように構成される、請求項7に記載のpHセンサ。
- 前記保存液が、既知のpHを有する、請求項7に記載のpHセンサ。
- 前記参照システムが、銀/塩化銀参照システムを備え、前記参照電解質が、塩化カリウム溶液を含む、請求項9に記載のpHセンサ。
- 前記保存液が、リン酸塩系緩衝剤を含む、請求項7に記載のpHセンサ。
- 前記保存液が、カーボン系緩衝剤を含む、請求項7に記載のpHセンサ。
- 前記保存液が、飽和塩化カリウム溶液を含む、請求項7に記載のpHセンサ。
- 前記保存液が、略0.10モルの塩化カリウム溶液を含む、請求項7に記載のpHセンサ。
- 前記pHセンサが、単回使用生物反応室に物理的に結合されるように構成される、請求項7に記載のpHセンサ。
- 単回使用生物反応室内のpHを測定するための方法であって、
pHセンサを前記単回使用生物反応室に結合することであって、前記pHセンサが、塩化カリウムを含む緩衝液内部にpH検知電極を収納する保存コンパートメントを備え、結合することが、前記pH検知電極を前記単回使用生物反応室の内部に近接しているが物理的には接触せずに位置付けることを含む、結合することと、
前記pHセンサを較正することと、
前記pHセンサを、前記単回使用生物反応室内部の溶液に接触させることと、
前記溶液のpHを検出することと、を含む、方法。 - 前記pHセンサを較正することが、前記緩衝液が既知のpHを有する場合に、前記緩衝液に対する前記pHセンサの応答を測定することを含む、請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記pHセンサを前記溶液に接触させることが、前記緩衝液の一部が前記生物反応室内に放出されるように、前記生物反応室の壁を破ることを含み、前記緩衝液が、前記溶液に対して略不活性である、請求項16記載の方法。
- 前記緩衝液が、リン酸塩系緩衝液を含む、請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記緩衝液が、カーボン系緩衝液を含む、請求項16に記載の方法。
