Claims (17)
- スタックを含む光学セキュリティ装置(10)であって、第1光学リターダ層(11)及び第2光学リターダ層(12)を含み、それぞれは、区画的に異なる光軸の配向を有する、前記光学セキュリティ装置(10)において、
反射型偏光子(13)が前記2つのリターダの間にあり、偏光領域は少なくとも各リターダの一部と重複することを特徴とする、
光学セキュリティ装置(10)。 - 前記反射型偏光子(13)は、直線偏光子である、請求項1に記載の光学セキュリティ装置(10)。
- 前記反射型偏光子(13)は、多層複屈折ポリマーフィルムである、請求項2に記載の光学セキュリティ装置(10)。
- 前記光学リターダ(11、12)の少なくとも1つは、局所的に異なる光軸方向を有する重合又は架橋された液晶を含んでいる層を含む、請求項3に記載の光学セキュリティ装置(10)。
- 重合又は架橋された液晶を含んでいる前記層が、配向面と接触している、請求項4に記載の光学セキュリティ装置(10)。
- 前記配向面は、光配向層の表面である、請求項5に記載の光学セキュリティ装置(10)。
- 前記配向面は、基板の表面における又は基板上の層におけるエンボス構造である、請求項5に記載の光学セキュリティ装置(10)。
- 前記区画的に異なる光軸の配向は、画像について符号化する、請求項7に記載の光学セキュリティ装置(10)。
- 前記画像は、写真、テキスト、マイクロテキスト、数字、絵画、バーコード、記号、文字、イラストレーション、グラフィックのうちの少なくとも1つを含む、請求項8に記載の光学セキュリティ装置(10)。
- 保護層、カラーフィルタ層、薄い金属層、誘電体層のうちの少なくとも1つを更に含む、請求項9に記載の光学セキュリティ装置(10)。
- 請求項1〜10のいずれか1項に記載の光学セキュリティ装置(10)を製造する方法であって、前記第1及び第2リターダ(11、12)の少なくとも1つを箔の形態で製作する工程、及び、前記1つのリターダ又は複数のリターダを前記反射型偏光子(13)へ積層する工程を包含する、方法。
- 請求項1〜10のいずれか1項に記載の光学セキュリティ装置(10)を製造する方法であって、
− 基板上の薄い層としてパターン化された前記リターダを製作すること、
− 薄い前記リターダ層を前記反射型偏光子(13)へ、好ましくは、それを前記反射型偏光子へ積層させることによって、移行させること、
− 前記リターダから基板を除去すること、
を包含する、方法。 - 請求項1〜10のいずれか1項に記載の光学セキュリティ装置(10)を製造する方法であって、
反射型偏光子フィルム(13)は、基板として用いられ、かつ、パターン化された前記リターダ(11、12)の少なくとも1つは、前記反射型偏光子フィルム上に液晶組成物を塗布又は印刷することによって作られる、方法。 - 請求項1〜10のいずれか1項に記載の光学セキュリティ装置(10)を分析する方法であって、
前記装置(10)と観察者(30)との間に外部偏光子(14)を配設することを包含する、方法。 - 請求項1〜10のいずれか1項に記載の光学セキュリティ装置(10)を分析する方法であって、
観察者(30)によって見られるように、前記装置(10)の背後に外部偏光子(14)を配設することを包含する、方法。 - 請求項1〜10のいずれか1項に記載の光学セキュリティ装置(10)を分析する方法であって、
偏光された光(22)で前記装置を照射すること、及び、前記装置(10)と観察者(30)との間の光路(23)において偏光子なしで画像を観察すること、を包含する、方法。 - 請求項1〜10のいずれか1項に記載の光学セキュリティ装置(10)を分析する方法であって、
無偏光の光で前記装置を照射すること、及び、前記装置と観察者(30)との間の光路内の偏光子で前記装置(10)を観察すること、を包含する、方法。
