Claims (17)
- スタックを含む光学セキュリティ装置(10)であって、前記スタックが、第1光学リターダ層(11)及び第2光学リターダ層(12)を含み、前記各光学リターダ層のそれぞれは、光軸の配向が異なる区画を有する、上記光学セキュリティ装置(10)において、
反射型偏光子(13)が前記2つの光学リターダ層の間にあり、前記反射型偏光子(13)の偏光領域は少なくとも前記各光学リターダ層の一部と重複し、
前記反射型偏光子(13)は、直線反射型偏光子である、
ことを特徴とする、
光学セキュリティ装置(10)。 - 前記直線反射型偏光子(13)は、多層複屈折ポリマーフィルムである、請求項1に記載の光学セキュリティ装置(10)。
- 前記光学リターダ層(11、12)の少なくとも1つは、局所的に異なる光軸方向を有する重合又は架橋された液晶を含んでいる層を含む、請求項1又は2に記載の光学セキュリティ装置(10)。
- 重合又は架橋された液晶を含んでいる前記層が、配向面と接触している、請求項3に記載の光学セキュリティ装置(10)。
- 前記配向面は、光配向層の表面である、請求項4に記載の光学セキュリティ装置(10)。
- 前記配向面は、基板の表面における又は基板上の層におけるエンボス構造である、請求項4に記載の光学セキュリティ装置(10)。
- 前記区画の異なる光軸の配向は、画像について符号化する、請求項1〜6の何れか1項に記載の光学セキュリティ装置(10)。
- 前記画像は、写真、テキスト、マイクロテキスト、数字、絵画、バーコード、記号、文字、イラストレーション、グラフィックのうちの少なくとも1つを含む、請求項7に記載の光学セキュリティ装置(10)。
- 保護層、カラーフィルタ層、薄い金属層、誘電体層のうちの少なくとも1つを更に含む、請求項8に記載の光学セキュリティ装置(10)。
- 請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の光学セキュリティ装置(10)を製造する方法であって、前記第1及び第2光学リターダ層(11、12)の少なくとも1つを箔の形態で製作する工程、及び、前記1つの光学リターダ層又は複数の光学リターダ層を前記直線反射型偏光子(13)へ積層する工程を包含する、方法。
- 請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の光学セキュリティ装置(10)を製造する方法であって、
‐ 基板上の薄い層としてパターン化された前記光学リターダ層を製作すること、
‐ 薄い前記光学リターダ層を前記直線反射型偏光子(13)へ移行させること、
‐ 前記光学リターダ層から基板を除去すること、
を包含する、方法。 - 前記薄い前記光学リターダ層を前記直線反射型偏光子(13)へ移行させることは、それを前記直線反射型偏光子へ積層させることによって移行される、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の光学セキュリティ装置(10)を製造する方法であって、
前記直線反射型偏光子のフィルム(13)は、基板として用いられ、かつ、パターン化された前記光学リターダ層(11、12)の少なくとも1つは、前記直線反射型偏光子のフィルム上に液晶組成物を塗布又は印刷することによって作られる、方法。 - 請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の光学セキュリティ装置(10)を分析する方法であって、
前記光学セキュリティ装置(10)と観察者(30)との間に、外部偏光子(14)を配設することを包含する、方法。 - 請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の光学セキュリティ装置(10)を分析する方法であって、
観察者(30)によって見られるように、前記光学セキュリティ装置(10)の背後に、外部偏光子(14)を配設することを包含する、方法。 - 請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の光学セキュリティ装置(10)を分析する方法であって、
偏光された光(22)で前記光学セキュリティ装置を照射すること、及び、前記光学セキュリティ装置(10)と観察者(30)との間の光路(23)内に偏光子を配設しないで、前記光学セキュリティ装置を観察すること、を包含する、方法。 - 請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の光学セキュリティ装置(10)を分析する方法であって、
無偏光の光で前記光学セキュリティ装置を照射すること、及び、前記光学セキュリティ装置と観察者(30)との間の光路内に偏光子を配設して前記光学セキュリティ装置(10)を観察すること、を包含する、方法。
