Claims (14)

第1強度の前記材料よりも低い第2強度の材料を有する下部ベース部を備える車両停止システム層状構造体。 - 前記下部ベース部が、前記支持された上部よりも容易に圧潰可能な材料の層を有する請求項1に記載の構造体。
- 前記支持された上部が、変形可能な材料を有する請求項1又は2に記載の構造体。
- 前記支持された上部が、圧潰可能な材料を有する請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の構造体。
- 前記下部ベース部が、前記上部よりも厚い請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の構造体。
- 前記下部ベース部が、前記上部ほど厚くない請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の構造体。
- さらに、前記上部から前記下部ベース部へ移動するとエネルギー吸収能力が減少する材料による付加的な複数の部分を有する請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の構造体。
- 前記支持された上部及び前記下部ベース部が、前記構造体内に勾配を有する請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の構造体。
- 前記勾配が、前記支持された上部と前記下部ベース部の間にわたり、さらに最前部と最後部の間にもわたる請求項8に記載の構造体。
- 前記下部ベース部が、前記第2強度の材料による一つ以上の柱と、該一つ以上の柱の間の一つ以上の空隙とを有する請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の構造体。
- 前記下部ベース部の前記第2強度の材料が、一つ以上の空隙を有する請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載の構造体。
- さらに、前記構造体の周りに保護シェルを備える請求項1〜11のいずれか一項に記載の構造体。
- 請求項1に記載の車両停止システム層状構造体を滑走路の端部又はその他のオーバーラン領域に設置することを含む、航空機を停止させる方法。
- 前記車両停止システム層状構造体が、軽量航空機がアクセスする空港又は滑走路に設置されている請求項13に記載の方法。
