Description
石膏ボードは固定具(例えば、流し、テレビジョン、ラジエーター、消火器、棚及びボードへの取り付けを必要とするあらゆるその他の品目)を支持するのに充分に強いことが望ましく、その結果、固定手段(例えば、ネジ)がボード中にしっかりと保持される。
WO2014/188168は固定強度を改良するための石膏マトリックスへの澱粉及び/又は繊維の添加を開示している。
典型的には、ポリマー添加剤が澱粉である。一般に、繊維はガラス繊維である。
石膏ボードが少なくとも2質量%の繊維を含むことが好ましい。
石膏ボードが少なくとも3質量%、好ましくは少なくとも5質量%のポリマー添加剤を含むことが好ましい。
一般に、石膏ボードはそれぞれの面にライナー、例えば、紙ライナー又はガラス繊維マットを備えている。このような場合には、石膏ボードが対称であり、即ち、両面が同じ型のライナーを備えていることが好ましい。
このような場合には、接着剤が粘弾性接着剤であることが好ましい。
その他の実施態様において、石膏ボード及び強化ボードが機械的固定具、例えば、ネジにより互いに固定される。
このような場合には、強化ボードが仕切りの平面で石膏ボードに対してずれていてもよい。
強化ボードは、石膏ボード及び強化ボードが互いに接着され、又は両面結合テープにより結合される実施態様においても、石膏ボードに対してずれていてもよい。このような実施態様において、強化ボードが石膏ボードにより完全に支持されることがまた可能であり、その結果、強化ボードが仕切りを支持する枠に直接固定される必要がない。
典型的には、強化ボードが6−19mmの範囲の厚さを有する。
強化ボードが石膏ボードである場合には、強化ボードが典型的にはそれぞれの面にライナー、例えば、紙ライナー又はガラス繊維マットを備えている。このような場合には、強化ボードが対称であり、即ち、両面が同じ型のライナーを備えていることが好ましい。

典型的には、強化ボードの存在はサイクル負荷後の仕切りのネジ引き抜き強さを石膏ボード単独に対して、1.5倍、好ましくは2倍、更に好ましくは2.5倍増大する効果を有する。
典型的には、強化ボードの存在は再度フィットされるネジに関する仕切りのネジ引き抜き強さを石膏ボード単独に対して、1.5倍、好ましくは2倍、更に好ましくは2.5倍増大する効果を有する。
典型的には、強化ボードの存在は偏心負荷下のネジを保持する仕切りの能力を、石膏ボード単独に対して、1.5倍、好ましくは2倍、更に好ましくは2.5倍増大する効果を有する。
典型的には、接着剤が粘弾性接着剤である。
石膏ボード及び強化ボードがそれぞれ本発明の第一の態様の石膏ボード及び強化ボードの性質の一つ以上を有し得る。
本発明が以下記載されるが、これは単なる一例である。
2質量%の量の繊維及び6質量%の量の澱粉を含む石膏ボード。
実施例1
比較例1の二つの石膏ボード(それらの面で一緒に接合されている)から形成された二重層ボード。
重量定着(anchorage) (洗面器)偏心下方負荷試験
パネルをBS5234:パート2:1992−Annex K.に示された方法に従って重量定着(洗面器)偏心下方負荷試験にかけた。
試験を15−20℃の温度及び50−60%の相対湿度で行なった。
負荷を5個の一般目的のネジにより保持されたブランケットにより支持した。
結果を表1に示す。
ネジ引き抜き試験を23℃の温度及び50%の相対湿度で状態調節された100mmx100mmの寸法のサンプルについて行なった。50mmの単一ネジ山の木ネジをサンプルに挿入し、サンプルの表面に配置された金属ループに通した。ネジを100cNmのトルクに締めた。
次いで標本をZwick万能試験機に取り付け、10Nの前負荷をネジの軸に沿ってネジに適用した。続いて、引き出しが達成されるまで、10mm/分の一定のクロスヘッド速度を設定することにより負荷を増大した。
結果を表2に示し、これは5個のサンプルから採取した平均を示す。
前負荷をネジに適用する工程後に、かつ引き出しが達成されるまで10mm/分の一定のクロスヘッド速度を設定することにより負荷を増大する工程の前に、ネジに適用される負荷を100回にわたって10Nと500Nの間でサイクルした以外は、ネジ引き抜き試験を上記されたように行なった。
結果を表3に示し、これは5個のサンプルから採取した平均を示す。
サンプルをその万能試験機に取り付ける工程の前に、ネジを除去し、サンプルに再度挿入し、100cNmのトルクに締めた以外は、ネジ引き抜き試験を上記されたように行なった。
結果を表4に示し、これはサンプルから採取した平均を示す。
Claims (16)
- 固定具を支持するのに適している仕切りであって、その仕切りが、固定具をそれに取り付けるための前面及び固定具から外方に向いている裏面を有し、その仕切りが石膏ボード及び強化ボードを含み、強化ボードが石膏ボードとその前面の間に配置され、かつ石膏ボードが少なくとも1質量%の繊維と少なくとも1質量%のポリマー添加剤を含むことを特徴とする、仕切り。
- ネジを保持する仕切りの能力が、石膏ボード単独のそれより1.5倍大きいことを特徴とする、請求項1記載の仕切り。
- 1000Nより大きいネジ引き抜き強さを有する、請求項2記載の仕切り。
- 石膏ボード及び強化ボードが互いに接着されている、請求項1から3のいずれか1項記載の仕切り。
- 接着剤が粘弾性接着剤である、請求項4記載の仕切り。
- 石膏ボード及び強化ボードが両面接着テープで連結されている、請求項1から3のいずれか1項記載の仕切り。
- 石膏ボード及び強化ボードが機械的固定具により互いに固定されている、請求項1から3のいずれか1項記載の仕切り。
- 石膏ボード及び強化ボードがネジ固定具により互いに固定されている、請求項7記載の仕切り。
- 強化ボードが、仕切りの平面で石膏ボードに対してずれている、請求項1から8のいずれか1項記載の仕切り。
- 強化ボードが6−19mmの範囲の厚さを有する、請求項1から9のいずれか1項記載の仕切り。
- 強化ボードが主成分として石膏を含む、請求項1から10のいずれか1項記載の仕切り。
- 強化ボードが、少なくとも1質量%の繊維及び少なくとも1質量%のポリマー添加剤を含む、請求項11記載の仕切り。
- 石膏ボードが、少なくとも2質量%の繊維を含む、請求項1から12のいずれか1項記載の仕切り。
- 石膏ボードが、少なくとも3質量%のポリマー添加剤、好ましくは少なくとも5質量%のポリマー添加剤を含む、請求項1から13のいずれか1項記載の仕切り。
- 石膏ボード中の繊維がガラス繊維である、請求項1から14のいずれか1項記載の仕切り。
- ポリマー添加剤が澱粉である、請求項1から15のいずれか1項記載の仕切り。
