本発明は増大された固定強度を有する仕切り及びその中の使用のためのパネルに関する。
石膏プラスターボードは建造物内に仕切りを提供するために一般的に使用される。この用途に対する利点としては、それが軽く、かつ迅速に設置できるという点が挙げられる。
石膏ボードは固定具（例えば、流し、テレビジョン、ラジエーター、消火器、棚及びボードへの取り付けを必要とするあらゆるその他の品目）を支持するのに充分に強いことが望ましく、その結果、固定手段（例えば、ネジ）がボード中にしっかりと保持される。
ＷＯ２０１４／１８８１６８は固定強度を改良するための石膏マトリックスへの澱粉及び／又は繊維の添加を開示している。
固定強度を更に改善することが望ましい。
驚くことに、繊維及び澱粉を含む石膏ボードが強化ボードと連携して使用されて、二重層パネルを提供する場合、固定強度が更に改善され得ることがわかった。強化ボードは石膏ボードと固定具の間の位置決めのためである。強化ボードはパネルが固定具を支持するのに使用される場合に石膏ボードのたわみを減少することを助け、こうしてネジの如き固定具を除去するのに必要とされる力を増大することを助けると考えられる。

実際に、石膏ボードの高い固定強度のために、強化ボードが石膏ボードにより完全に支持され、その結果、強化ボードが仕切りを支持する枠に直接固定される必要がないことがわかった。これは仕切りが強化ボードと石膏ボードの間のずれの程度に関して構成されるような方法でかなりの融通性を可能にする。
強化ボードは、石膏ボード及び強化ボードが互いに接着され、又は両面結合テープにより結合される実施態様においても、石膏ボードに対してずれていてもよい。このような実施態様において、強化ボードが石膏ボードにより完全に支持されることがまた可能であり、その結果、強化ボードが仕切りを支持する枠に直接固定される必要がない。
典型的には、強化ボードが６−１９ｍｍの範囲の厚さを有する。
強化ボードが主成分として石膏を含むことが好ましい。このような場合には、仕切りが第一の石膏ボード（その機能はネジを保持することである）、及び第二の強化石膏ボード（その機能は引き出し力がネジに適用される時に第一の石膏ボードのたわみを制限することである）を含む。
強化ボードが石膏ボードである場合には、強化ボードが典型的にはそれぞれの面にライナー、例えば、紙ライナー又はガラス繊維マットを備えている。このような場合には、強化ボードが対称であり、即ち、両面が同じ型のライナーを備えていることが好ましい。
その他の実施態様において、強化ボードがパジングの層を備えているハードボードを含んでもよい。このような場合には、ハードボードが石膏ボードに隣接して配置されるとともに、パジングの層がボードの前面を提供することが好ましい。
二つの石膏ボード層を含む二重層パネルが、例えば、音響特性を改良することについて知られている。しかしながら、これらのパネルの石膏ボードは本発明により特定された量の繊維及びポリマー添加剤を含まないので、石膏ボードがネジ固定具を同じ程度に保持することができず、こうして本発明の効果（即ち、引き出し力がその中に固定されるネジに適用される時にたわむ第一の石膏ボードの傾向、及びこのようなたわみを抑制する強化ボードの傾向）が観察されない。
強化ボードが少なくとも１質量％の繊維及び１質量％のポリマー添加剤を含むことが最も好ましい。典型的には、強化ボードが石膏ボードと同じ組成を有する。
典型的には、強化ボードの存在はネジを保持する仕切りの能力を石膏ボード単独に対して１．５倍、好ましくは２倍、更に好ましくは２．５倍増大する効果を有する。
典型的には、強化ボードの存在は仕切りのネジ引き抜き強さを石膏ボード単独に対して１．５倍、好ましくは２倍、更に好ましくは２．５倍増大する効果を有する。
典型的には、強化ボードの存在は仕切りのネジ引き抜き強さを少なくとも１０００Ｎ、好ましくは少なくとも１２００Ｎ、更に好ましくは少なくとも１４００Ｎに増大する効果を有する。
典型的には、強化ボードの存在はサイクル負荷後の仕切りのネジ引き抜き強さを石膏ボード単独に対して、１．５倍、好ましくは２倍、更に好ましくは２．５倍増大する効果を有する。
典型的には、強化ボードの存在は再度フィットされるネジに関する仕切りのネジ引き抜き強さを石膏ボード単独に対して、１．５倍、好ましくは２倍、更に好ましくは２．５倍増大する効果を有する。
典型的には、強化ボードの存在は偏心負荷下のネジを保持する仕切りの能力を、石膏ボード単独に対して、１．５倍、好ましくは２倍、更に好ましくは２．５倍増大する効果を有する。
第二の態様において、本発明は石膏ボード及び強化ボードを含むパネルを提供し、その石膏ボードが強化ボードと面間接着され、その石膏ボードが少なくとも１質量％の繊維及び少なくとも１質量％のポリマー添加剤を含む。
典型的には、接着剤が粘弾性接着剤である。
石膏ボード及び強化ボードがそれぞれ本発明の第一の態様の石膏ボード及び強化ボードの性質の一つ以上を有し得る。
本発明が以下記載されるが、これは単なる一例である。
比較例１
２質量％の量の繊維及び６質量％の量の澱粉を含む石膏ボード。
実施例１
比較例１の二つの石膏ボード（それらの面で一緒に接合されている）から形成された二重層ボード。
重量定着（ａｎｃｈｏｒａｇｅ） （洗面器）偏心下方負荷試験
パネルをＢＳ５２３４：パート２：１９９２−Ａｎｎｅｘ Ｋ．に示された方法に従って重量定着（洗面器）偏心下方負荷試験にかけた。
試験を１５−２０℃の温度及び５０−６０％の相対湿度で行なった。
負荷を５個の一般目的のネジにより保持されたブランケットにより支持した。
結果を表１に示す。

ネジ引き抜き強さ
ネジ引き抜き試験を２３℃の温度及び５０％の相対湿度で状態調節された１００ｍｍｘ１００ｍｍの寸法のサンプルについて行なった。５０ｍｍの単一ネジ山の木ネジをサンプルに挿入し、サンプルの表面に配置された金属ループに通した。ネジを１００ｃＮｍのトルクに締めた。
次いで標本をＺｗｉｃｋ万能試験機に取り付け、１０Ｎの前負荷をネジの軸に沿ってネジに適用した。続いて、引き出しが達成されるまで、１０ｍｍ／分の一定のクロスヘッド速度を設定することにより負荷を増大した。
結果を表２に示し、これは５個のサンプルから採取した平均を示す。

サイクル負荷後のネジ引き抜き強さ
前負荷をネジに適用する工程後に、かつ引き出しが達成されるまで１０ｍｍ／分の一定のクロスヘッド速度を設定することにより負荷を増大する工程の前に、ネジに適用される負荷を１００回にわたって１０Ｎと５００Ｎの間でサイクルした以外は、ネジ引き抜き試験を上記されたように行なった。
結果を表３に示し、これは５個のサンプルから採取した平均を示す。

再度フィットされたネジのネジ引き抜き強さ
サンプルをその万能試験機に取り付ける工程の前に、ネジを除去し、サンプルに再度挿入し、１００ｃＮｍのトルクに締めた以外は、ネジ引き抜き試験を上記されたように行なった。
結果を表４に示し、これはサンプルから採取した平均を示す。

Claims (16)

  1. 固定具を支持するのに適している仕切りであって、その仕切りが、固定具をそれに取り付けるための前面及び固定具から外方に向いている裏面を有し、その仕切りが石膏ボード及び強化ボードを含み、強化ボードが石膏ボードとその前面の間に配置され、かつ石膏ボードが少なくとも１質量％の繊維と少なくとも１質量％のポリマー添加剤を含むことを特徴とする、仕切り。
  2. ネジを保持する仕切りの能力が、石膏ボード単独のそれより１．５倍大きいことを特徴とする、請求項１記載の仕切り。
  3. １０００Ｎより大きいネジ引き抜き強さを有する、請求項２記載の仕切り。
  4. 石膏ボード及び強化ボードが互いに接着されている、請求項１から３のいずれか１項記載の仕切り。
  5. 接着剤が粘弾性接着剤である、請求項４記載の仕切り。
  6. 石膏ボード及び強化ボードが両面接着テープで連結されている、請求項１から３のいずれか１項記載の仕切り。
  7. 石膏ボード及び強化ボードが機械的固定具により互いに固定されている、請求項１から３のいずれか１項記載の仕切り。
  8. 石膏ボード及び強化ボードがネジ固定具により互いに固定されている、請求項７記載の仕切り。
  9. 強化ボードが、仕切りの平面で石膏ボードに対してずれている、請求項１から８のいずれか１項記載の仕切り。
  10. 強化ボードが６−１９ｍｍの範囲の厚さを有する、請求項１から９のいずれか１項記載の仕切り。
  11. 強化ボードが主成分として石膏を含む、請求項１から１０のいずれか１項記載の仕切り。
  12. 強化ボードが、少なくとも１質量％の繊維及び少なくとも１質量％のポリマー添加剤を含む、請求項１１記載の仕切り。
  13. 石膏ボードが、少なくとも２質量％の繊維を含む、請求項１から１２のいずれか１項記載の仕切り。
  14. 石膏ボードが、少なくとも３質量％のポリマー添加剤、好ましくは少なくとも５質量％のポリマー添加剤を含む、請求項１から１３のいずれか１項記載の仕切り。
  15. 石膏ボード中の繊維がガラス繊維である、請求項１から１４のいずれか１項記載の仕切り。
  16. ポリマー添加剤が澱粉である、請求項１から１５のいずれか１項記載の仕切り。
