・ピークと谷の比は、ピーク高さを谷深さで割ったものである。面積比は、上部面積(図1のA1)を底部面積(図1のA2)で割ったものである。
・平均DCは、各心拍の「始め」から「終り」までの平均DC振幅である。
・最小DCは、各心拍の「始め」から「終り」までの最大DC振幅である。
・最大DCは、各心拍の「始め」から「終り」までの最小DC振幅である。
・DC振れは、最大DCと最小DCの間の振幅差である。DC面積は、曲線下のDC信号と算出された「ベースライン」DCとの間の面積である。算出されたベースラインは、前以って決められた期間における平均DC値である。

Claims (16)
- 心肺蘇生(CPR)の一環としての胸部圧迫の有効性を改善する方法であって、
(a)少なくとも1つの胸部圧迫中に、個体の鼻に固定されたPPGセンサからのPPG信号をモニタすることと、
(b)前記PPG信号の波形パラメータに基づいて、少なくとも1つの後続の胸部圧迫の、深度、持続時間および頻度の少なくとも1つを、増加、減少または維持することと、
を含む、方法。 - 前記波形パラメータは、前記PPG信号の振幅、前記PPG信号の曲線下の面積またはその両方を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記PPG信号の前記波形パラメータが予め選択された基準を満たす場合には、前記胸部圧迫の前記深度が増加される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記PPG信号の前記波形パラメータが予め選択された基準を満たす場合には、前記胸部圧迫の前記持続時間が増加される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 2つ以上の胸部圧迫中に前記PPGセンサからPPG信号がモニタされ、かつ少なくとも1つの追加の胸部圧迫の深度、持続時間および頻度のうちの少なくとも1つが、前記2つ以上の胸部圧迫中の前記PPG信号に基づいて増加または減少される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記PPGセンサは、前記個体の鼻翼に固定される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記PPG信号は、AC成分信号とDC成分信号の少なくとも1つに分離され、前記少なくとも1つの追加の胸部圧迫の深度、持続時間および頻度の少なくとも1つは、前記AC成分信号、前記DC成分信号またはその両方の波形パラメータに基づいて維持、増加または減少される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記PPG信号の前記波形パラメータを最適化するために、反復ステップ(a)と反復ステップ(b)をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 血中酸素飽和度と呼吸パラメータの少なくとも1つを決定するために、前記PPG信号を使用することをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- (a)個体に対して胸部圧迫を遂行するコンプレッサと、
(b)前記コンプレッサを起動して前記個体に胸部圧迫を遂行させるコントローラと、
を備える、自動胸部圧迫装置であって、
前記コントローラは、鼻に固定されたPPGセンサからのPPG信号を受信して処理し、
前記コントローラは胸部圧迫中の前記PPG信号の波形パラメータを計算し、前記波形パラメータに基づいて少なくとも1つの後続の胸部圧迫の深度、持続時間および頻度の少なくとも1つを、維持、増加または減少させるように前記コンプレッサに指示する、自動胸部圧迫装置。 - 前記波形パラメータは前記PPG信号の振幅を含む、請求項10に記載の自動胸部圧迫装置。
- 前記波形パラメータは前記PPG信号の曲線の下の面積を含む、請求項10に記載の自動胸部圧迫装置。
- 前記コントローラは、前記PPG信号から、血中酸素飽和度および呼吸パラメータの少なくとも1つを決定するようにさらに構成された、請求項10に記載の自動胸部圧迫装置。
- 前記コントローラは、過去の2つ以上の胸部圧迫時に取得された前記波形パラメータに基づいて、少なくとも1つの追加の胸部圧迫の前記深度、持続時間および頻度の少なくとも1つを増加または減少させるように前記コンプレッサに指示する、請求項10に記載の自動胸部圧迫装置。
- 前記PPG信号は、AC成分信号とDC成分信号の少なくとも1つに分離され、前記少なくとも1つの追加の胸部圧迫の前記深度、持続時間および頻度の前記少なくとも1つは、前記AC成分信号、前記DC成分信号またはその両方の波形パラメータに基づいて増加または減少される、請求項10に記載の自動胸部圧迫装置。
- 前記PPG信号を評価して、自発循環の回復が発生するときを判定することをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
