Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a liquid level detection device that detects the position of a liquid level in a tank using an ultrasonic sensor.
As a conventional liquid level detection device, for example, the one described in Patent Document 1 is known. The liquid level detection device of Patent Document 1 is directed to a tank that stores liquid, an ultrasonic sensor (ultrasonic oscillation element) disposed at the bottom of the tank, and an ultrasonic wave emitted by the ultrasonic sensor toward the ultrasonic sensor. And a second reflection wall for reflecting the ultrasonic wave emitted by the ultrasonic sensor to the liquid level, and a control circuit for calculating the liquid level position.
The control circuit receives the distance from the ultrasonic sensor to the first reflection wall, the reception time of the first reflected wave reflected by the first reflection wall, and the reception of the second reflected wave reflected by the liquid surface through the second reflection wall. Based on the time, the position (liquid level height) of the liquid level is calculated.
However, in the liquid level detection device disclosed in Patent Document 1, for example, if the first reflection wall or the second reflection wall is contaminated, the reflected wave is attenuated, or if the ultrasonic sensor itself is defective, the reflected wave is generated. Since proper reception cannot be performed, the liquid level position cannot be accurately calculated as a whole. Since the liquid level detection device of Patent Document 1 does not have a function for determining a failure in the above case, the user cannot determine whether the calculated liquid level position is really correct.
In view of the above problems, an object of the present invention is to provide a liquid level detection device that enables failure determination in the calculation of the liquid level position.
In order to achieve the above object, the present invention employs the following technical means.
In the present invention, an ultrasonic sensor (110) that is disposed on the bottom (13) in the tank (10) that stores the liquid (11), emits an ultrasonic wave, and receives a reflected wave;
A drive circuit unit (141) for providing a drive signal (V) for emitting ultrasonic waves to the ultrasonic sensor;
A first reflecting wall (131a) provided at a position away from the ultrasonic sensor by a predetermined distance (L0) and reflecting the emitted ultrasonic wave to the ultrasonic sensor;
A second reflecting wall (131b) for reflecting the ultrasonic wave emitted from the ultrasonic sensor to the liquid level (12);
Among the reflected wave signals received by the ultrasonic sensor, the first reflected wave signal reflected by the first reflecting wall and the second reflected wave signal reflected by the liquid surface through the second reflecting wall are detected. A receiving circuit unit (142) for
In a liquid level detection device comprising a predetermined distance, a calculation circuit unit (143) that calculates the position of the liquid level using the first reflected wave signal and the second reflected wave signal of the receiving circuit unit,
The first intensity ratio (Ar), which is the intensity ratio of the first reflected wave signal to the drive signal, and the second intensity ratio (Br), which is the intensity ratio of the second reflected wave signal to the drive signal, are calculated and determined in advance. By comparing the first predetermined value (A0) with the first intensity ratio, and comparing the predetermined second predetermined value (B0) with the second intensity ratio, the first reflecting wall, the second reflecting wall, And a failure determination circuit unit (144) for determining the presence or absence of at least one failure of the ultrasonic sensor.
According to the present invention, when the first intensity ratio (Ar) is smaller than the first predetermined value (A0) in the comparison between the first intensity ratio (Ar) and the first predetermined value (A0), the first reflected wave is obtained. It can be determined that the signal is attenuated. Similarly, when the second intensity ratio (Br) is smaller than the second predetermined value (B0) in the comparison between the second intensity ratio (Br) and the second predetermined value (B0), the second reflected wave signal is obtained. Can be determined to be attenuated. In the attenuation of the first reflected wave signal, a problem of the first reflecting wall (131a) or a problem of the oscillation reception function of the ultrasonic sensor (110) can be considered. Moreover, in the attenuation | damping of a 2nd reflected wave signal, the malfunction of a 2nd reflective wall (131b) or the malfunction of the oscillation reception function of an ultrasonic sensor (110) can be considered.
Therefore, the failure determination circuit unit (144) compares the first predetermined value (A0) with the first intensity ratio (Ar) and compares the second predetermined value (B0) with the second intensity ratio (Br). By performing, it becomes possible to determine the presence or absence of at least one failure of the first reflecting wall (131a), the second reflecting wall (131b), and the ultrasonic sensor (110).

(First embodiment)
A liquid
The
The
One end side of the
When a voltage is applied between both
The
The
The
The inner diameter of the
The first reflecting
In addition, on one end side of the
The second reflecting
The
The
The
The distance from the
Liquid surface reflection distance Lx = L1 + (L−L2),
The liquid level height L can be expressed as L = Lx−L1 + L2.
The
The
The
The
The failure
The liquid
1. Calculation of Liquid Level L First, in the
The
Among the ultrasonic waves propagated in the
Further, among the ultrasonic waves propagated in the
The
The
Lx=v・(Tx/2)=(2L0/T0)・(Tx/2)=(L0/T0)・Tx
となる。
The liquid surface reflection distance Lx is calculated from the reference speed v and the liquid surface reflection time Tx. That is,
Lx = v · (Tx / 2) = (2L0 / T0) · (Tx / 2) = (L0 / T0) · Tx
It becomes.
On the other hand, the liquid surface reflection distance Lx is Lx = L1 + (L−L2) as described above (FIG. 1).
L=Lx−L1+L2=(L0/T0)・Tx−L1+L2
Therefore, the
Calculate as
And the
2. Determination of the presence / absence of failure While the liquid level height L is calculated, the failure
First, the failure
Next, in step S110, the failure
If the failure
Therefore, the failure
As described above, in this embodiment, when the reference wave intensity ratio Ar is smaller than the required reference wave intensity ratio A0 in the comparison between the reference wave intensity ratio Ar and the required reference wave intensity ratio A0, the reference wave is attenuated. Can be determined. Similarly, in the comparison between the liquid surface wave intensity ratio Br and the required liquid surface wave intensity ratio B0, if the liquid surface wave intensity ratio Br is smaller than the required liquid surface wave intensity ratio B0, the liquid surface wave is attenuated. Can be determined. In the attenuation of the reference wave, a failure of the
Therefore, the failure
In the specific control content of this embodiment, since the reference wave intensity ratio Ar is smaller than the required reference wave intensity ratio A0 as in steps S121 and S131, it is determined that there is a defect in the first reflecting
(Second Embodiment)
A liquid
The
Hereinafter, the control content of the failure presence / absence determination in the present embodiment will be described based on the flowchart shown in FIG.
First, similarly to the first embodiment (FIG. 3), the failure
When the failure
In step S1221, the failure
In step S1222, the failure
If the determination in step S1222 is affirmative, the failure
That is, generally, when the temperature of the
Under such conditions, the failure
Therefore, when the failure
On the contrary, if the temperature of the
In the present embodiment, the
(Third embodiment)
A liquid
The
For example, when the vehicle is inclined with respect to a horizontal plane on a slope or the like, the
Hereinafter, the control content of the failure presence / absence determination in the present embodiment will be described based on the flowchart shown in FIG.
First, similarly to the first embodiment (FIG. 3), the failure
When the failure
In step S1231, the failure
In step S1232, the failure
If the affirmative determination is made in step S1232, the failure
That is, when the
Under such conditions, the failure
Therefore, if the failure
On the contrary, when the inclination of the
In the present embodiment, the
In the present embodiment, the
For example, by using a vibration sensor (G sensor) as an inclination detection unit, it is possible to grasp in advance the state of change in the
In addition, a vehicle speed sensor and a steering angle sensor are used as an inclination detection unit to grasp in advance the state of change in the
Furthermore, in the case of a vehicle equipped with a navigation system, it is possible to detect the inclination of the
