Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an active energy ray-curable resin composition containing an allyl polymer, and an active energy ray-curable ink comprising the resin composition, and further, a cured product of the active energy ray-curable ink. The present invention relates to a manufacturing method and printed matter.
Conventionally, printed materials for forms, printed materials for various books, printed materials for packaging such as carton paper, various printed materials for plastics, seals, printed materials for labels, printed materials for arts, printed materials for arts (printed products for art, printed beverages, canned foods, etc.) In order to obtain various printed materials, various printing methods such as lithographic (ordinary lithographic using fountain solution and waterless lithographic plate not using fountain solution), letterpress, intaglio, and stencil printing are adopted. Ink is suitable for each printing method. An active energy ray curable ink is known as one of such inks.
In recent years, the use of active energy ray-curable ink that is quick-drying and does not use a solvent has been expanded in place of oil-based inks that have been used in the past due to increasing demands for shorter delivery times and environmental friendliness.
However, compared with oil-based inks, active energy ray-curable inks have poor ink fluidity, so the ink can not be scraped off from the ink fountain during printing (ink fountain escape) and the dot gain of the printed matter There is a problem that print reproducibility is low.
Patent Document 1 proposes an ink composition containing a polymer having an acid value of 50 to 600 (mgKOH / g) in order to improve the fluidity of the active energy ray-curable ink. However, in offset printing in which an ink image is formed on the plate surface due to the repulsion of water and oil, the ink containing a high acid number polymer in the hydrophobic ink is hydrophilized, and the ink adheres to the non-image area of the printed matter and becomes dirty. Cause.
In addition, it is known that active energy ray-curable ink contains diallyl orthophthalate resin, which is an allyl polymer, so that the stability during printing and the curing speed of the ink coating film are improved. The diallyl orthophthalate resin has an acid value of about 2 (mg KOH / g). Patent Document 2 describes a diallyl orthophthalate resin having an acid value of 2 (mg KOH / g) or more, but does not mention anything about the resin composition using them and use in ink.
In recent years, the use of an active energy ray-curable ink has been expanded in place of conventional oil-based inks, and improvements in ink fluidity and print reproducibility, which are disadvantages, have been demanded.
The present invention provides an active energy ray-curable ink having curability by active energy rays, eliminating the problem of ink spillage during printing, and improving the dot gain of printed matter, and a resin composition used for the ink For the purpose of provision.
As a result of diligent research to solve the above problems, the active energy ray-curable ink comprising a resin composition containing a specific diallyl phthalate resin eliminates ink fountain trouble due to excellent fluidity of the ink, Further, it has been found that the dot gain can be improved, and the present invention has been completed.

The fourth invention of the present invention is:
The present invention relates to a printed matter obtained by the method for producing a printed matter described in the third invention.
The present invention eliminates the problem of ink spillage by using an active energy ray-curable ink composed of a resin composition containing a diallyl phthalate resin having an acid value of 2.5 to 50 (mgKOH / g), and printed matter. It is possible to obtain an active energy ray-curable ink with improved dot gain.
The resin composition containing diallyl phthalate resin (A) and a monomer having a radical polymerizable double bond according to the present invention will be described.
The diallyl phthalate resin (A) in the present invention can be obtained by heating a diallyl phthalate monomer and bringing it into contact with a gas containing oxygen. In the above polymerization reaction, a diluent solvent can be added, a polymerization initiator can be used in combination, and the pressure during the reaction can be increased or decreased as necessary. Further, unreacted diallyl phthalate monomer can be recovered and used again for the polymerization reaction.
Here, examples of the diallyl phthalate monomer include diallyl orthophthalate, diallyl isophthalate, and diallyl terephthalate. The diallyl phthalate resin (A) of the present invention is a polymer of diallyl orthophthalate.
Examples of the method for obtaining the diallyl phthalate monomer include a method of esterifying phthalic anhydride and allyl alcohol or allyl chloride. A commercially available diallyl phthalate monomer may also be used.
The polymerization reaction temperature can be in the range of 80 to 200 ° C, preferably 100 to 150 ° C, more preferably 100 to 125 ° C.
As the gas containing oxygen, the concentration of oxygen in an inert gas such as nitrogen can be, for example, 1 to 99% by volume, preferably 1 to 30% by volume, more preferably 5 to 30% by volume. is there. If the oxygen concentration is too low, the acid value of the resulting diallyl phthalate resin will be low, and if it is too high, the diallyl phthalate monomer or diluent solvent may ignite.
The gas flow rate containing oxygen can be 10 to 200 mL / min, preferably 20 to 100 mL / min, with respect to 100 parts by weight of the diallyl phthalate monomer.
Examples of the method for contacting a gas containing oxygen include a method of venting from the inside of a reaction solution containing a diallyl phthalate monomer. In a polymerization reaction in a gas atmosphere containing oxygen, the reaction time becomes long, and the productivity is lowered.
