貨物は倉庫床より円錐状に盛り上がり、側面を四方の擁壁に止められ擁壁下部では立方体の形で積み上がり、上部は円錐形で積みあがる。
四面の擁壁の上には倉庫外壁と屋根が付き、貨物の安全な管理を行うことができる。
擁壁4は開口部5を持つので、貨物は開口部から流れ出るものの押さえ壁6により押さえ壁の内側に留められ、開口部から離れるにつれて貨物の高さも徐々に低くなって来るので出荷作業車で安全に搬出することができる。
開口部5は、出荷作業車が不便なく出入りできる幅を持たせるので、貯蔵貨物が減ってきた際には出荷作業車が倉庫内部に入り集荷搬出を行うことができる。
図3、図4が従来の倉庫である。擁壁4は無く、ばら積み貨物は擁壁4近辺まで流れてきて、その先は出荷作業車の作業スペースとするため貨物を置くことはない。倉庫は貨物の集積場所と出荷作業車の作業スペースを合わせた面積を外壁で囲っている。
図2に示す本発明の倉庫と、図4に示す従来の倉庫を比べると、本発明の倉庫では貨物の集積量が格段に大きいことが良く判る。
すなわち、本発明の倉庫により、従来の倉庫の課題であった倉庫面積に比べ貨物の貯蔵量が大きく取れないという欠点を解決することができる。
