Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the foldability of a towel handkerchief while keeping advantages of good water absorbency and soft touch thereof.SOLUTION: A towel handkerchief 10 comprises a lateral folding portion 12 and a longitudinal folding portion 13. The ground textures of the lateral folding portion 12 and the longitudinal folding portion 13 have a weaving density lower than the other ground textures, which facilitates bending. The piles of the lateral folding portion 12 and the longitudinal folding portion 13 are longer than the piles of the other portions. The lower weaving densities of the lateral folding portion 12 and the longitudinal folding portion 13 are compensated by the increased amount of the pile length, and thus soft touch and water absorbency are improved.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

Description

The present invention relates to a towel handkerchief.

A towel handkerchief (handkerchief made of towel cloth) as in Patent Document 1 is known. The towel handkerchief includes a ground weft, a ground warp that intersects with the weft, and a pile warp that intersects with the weft. The weft and the ground warp constitute a ground structure, and the pile warp is raised from the ground texture. It is excellent in water absorption and touch.

However, the towel handkerchief has a disadvantage that it is difficult to fold and bulky because the pile is raised and the thickness is large.
For example, when carrying around, even if it is folded to be stored in the pocket, it cannot be folded neatly, and if it is put in the pocket in a rolled-up state, the pocket will swell up and look bad. Moreover, when trying to store in a storage case, since it cannot be folded neatly, it is bulky and requires a large storage space.

Utility Model Registration No. 3137526

Therefore, the problem to be solved by the present invention is to improve the folding property while maintaining the advantage of the towel handkerchief that it is excellent in water absorption and touch.

In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, in the towel handkerchief of the present invention, the horizontal folding portion in which the weave density of the ground weft is lower than that of the remaining portion and the longitudinal fold density of the ground warp and the pile warp are lower than that of the remaining portion. The folding part has at least one of the folding parts.
Since it is easy to bend along the folding portion where the weaving density of the yarn is low, the towel handkerchief can be neatly folded and does not become rounded and bulky.

If the pile length of the pile warp in the lateral fold is made longer than the rest, the lower weave density in the lateral fold can be compensated by the increased pile length, improving the feel of the lateral fold. be able to.

If the number of pile warp yarns to be skipped in the longitudinal fold is larger than the remaining portion, the space between the weft yarns to which the pile warp yarns are locked is increased by the amount of skipped weft yarns, and the pile length is increased. Since it becomes large, it can supplement that the weave density is small in the vertical folding part, and the touch of the vertical folding part can be improved.
In addition, if the thickness of the pile warp in the longitudinal fold is larger than the remainder, the pile weave density in the longitudinal fold can be reduced by the increase in the thickness of the pile, The touch of a vertical folding part can be improved.

If the horizontal folding part or the vertical folding part contains ground weft yarn or ground warp yarn that is stronger than the rest, it is possible to reinforce the folding portion that has a low weaving density and may be insufficient in strength. Strength can be maintained.

Since the towel handkerchief according to the present invention is configured as described above, it is possible to improve the foldability while maintaining water absorption and touch.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
In the towel handkerchief 10 of the embodiment shown in FIG. 1, a laterally folded portion 12 and a vertically folded portion 13 are formed on a substantially square handkerchief body 11.
As shown in the drawing, the horizontal folding part 12 crosses the middle part in the vertical direction of the handkerchief body 11, and the vertical folding part 13 cuts the middle part in the left-right direction of the handkerchief body 11 vertically. The horizontally folded portion 12 and the vertically folded portion 13 form a substantially cross-shaped folded portion. The widths of the horizontal folding part 12 and the vertical folding part 13 are substantially the same, and are sufficiently smaller than the dimensions of the handkerchief body 11.
Here, the horizontal folding part 12 and the vertical folding part 13 are easier to fold than the remaining portions of the handkerchief body 11, and as shown in FIG. 2, first, the horizontal folding part 12 or the vertical folding part is used. 13 is folded in half at one side (in the figure, the horizontal folding part 12), and then folded in the other side (in the figure, the vertical folding part 13), so that it can be folded into a four-fold state in a compact manner.

As shown in FIGS. 4 and 6, the towel handkerchief 10 according to the embodiment includes ground wefts X1 and X2 extending in the left-right direction of the handkerchief body 11, and a ground extending in the up-down direction of the handkerchief body 11 and intersecting the weft threads X1 and X2. It consists of warp yarns Y1 and Y2 and pile warp yarns Z extending in the vertical direction of the handkerchief body 11 and intersecting the weft yarns X1 and X2.
The ground weaves X1 and X2 and the ground warp yarns Y1 and Y2 constitute the ground texture G1 to G3 of the towel handkerchief, and the pile warp Z constitutes piles P1 to P3 raised from the ground texture G1 to G3 of the towel handkerchief.
In addition, the outer extension of the handkerchief body 11 is appropriately freed from fraying by appropriately performing rim processing.

As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, in the ground texture G2 of the lateral folding portion 12, the weave density of the ground wefts X1 and X2 is the same as the weave density of the ground weft X1 in the ground texture G1 of the remaining portion of the handkerchief body 11. In comparison, it is lower. That is, the distance between the ground wefts X1 and X2 in the lateral folding portion 12 is wider than the distance between the ground wefts X1 in the remaining portions of the handkerchief body 11.
The degree to which the weaving density of the ground wefts X1 and X2 in the ground organization G2 is reduced is not particularly limited, but is 60 to 70% when the weaving density in the ground organization G1 in the remaining portion of the handkerchief body 11 is 100%. Can be exemplified.
Thus, since the density of the ground texture G2 is coarse, the lateral folding portion 12 can be easily folded.
Note that the weaving density of the ground wefts X1 and X2 in the ground structure G2 is reduced when the weft yarns X1 and X2 are driven toward the fabric by the scissors when the towel handkerchief 10 of the embodiment is manufactured. This can be realized by making it smaller than the remaining portions.
Here, in the lateral folding portion 12, the ground weft yarn X2, which has a higher number of twists and higher strength than the normal weft yarn X1, is used as a part of the weft yarn (in FIG. 3, schematically shown by a thick line). ). This reinforces the lateral folds 12 where the density of the weft yarn is small and the strength may be insufficient. Moreover, it is suppressed that the horizontal folding part 12 shrinks by washing by using the weft X2 with many twists.
The mixing ratio of the normal weft yarn X1 and the weft yarn X2 having a large number of twists in the ground structure G2 is not particularly limited, but in FIG. 3, the normal weft yarn X1 and the weft yarn X2 having a large number of twists are alternately arranged. It is used.
For example, when a double twisted yarn is used as the normal ground weft yarn X1, a triple twisted yarn is used as a ground weft yarn X2 in a part of the lateral folding portion 12, and such a triple twisted yarn is used as a fine count ( For example, it is possible to exemplify using a yarn having a tensile strength exceeding 5.9 N obtained by twisting three yarns of No. 60). As such a yarn, a so-called triple-twisted catan yarn is preferable. In addition, if a fine count yarn is used in the three-twisted ground weft yarn X2, the thickness can be roughly aligned with that of the two-twisted ground weft yarn X1.

As shown in FIG. 4, in the horizontally folded portion 12, the length of the pile P2 constituted by the pile warp Z is larger than the length of the pile P1 in the remaining portion of the handkerchief body 11, and the pile P2 The height is higher than the height of the pile P1.
Increasing the pile length is realized by increasing the amount of pile warp Z sent out from the beam (increasing the delivery speed) only in the lateral folding section 12 when the towel handkerchief of the embodiment is manufactured.
Although the length of the pile P2 in the horizontal folding part 12 is not limited as long as it is large compared with the other part, when the pile length of the other part is 100%, it can be illustrated that it is 110-130%. .
The increase in the pile length can compensate for the low weaving density in the horizontally folded portion 12, and the touch and water absorption are improved.

As shown in FIG. 5, in the ground organization G3 of the vertically folded portion 13, the weave density of the ground warp yarns Y1 and Y2 (and the pile warp yarn Z) is the ground warp yarn Y1 in the ground fabric G1 of the remaining portion of the handkerchief body 11 ( And lower than the weave density of the pile warp Z). That is, the space between the ground warp yarns Y1 and Y2 in the vertical folding portion 13 is wider than the space between the ground warp yarns Y1 in the remaining portions of the handkerchief body 11.
The degree to which the weaving density in the ground organization G3 is lowered is not particularly limited, but it can be exemplified as 45 to 55% when the weaving density in the ground organization G1 in the remaining portion of the handkerchief body 11 is 100%.
As described above, since the density of the ground texture G3 is rough, the vertical folding portion 13 is easily folded.
In the ground structure G3, the weaving density of the ground warp yarns Y1, Y2 and the pile warp yarns Z is reduced because of the comb-like shape through which the ground warp yarns Y1, Y2 and the pile warp yarns Z are inserted when the towel handkerchief 10 of the embodiment is manufactured. This can be realized by widening the space between the portions (the wrinkle density, the wrinkle count) as compared with the remaining portions.
Here, in the vertical folding portion 13, the ground warp yarn Y <b> 2 having a higher number of twists and higher strength than the normal ground warp yarn Y <b> 1 is used as a part of the ground warp yarn (in FIG. 5, schematically shown by a thick line). ). Thereby, the vertical folding part 13 with which the density of ground warp yarn may be low and intensity | strength may be inadequate is reinforced. Moreover, it is suppressed that the vertical folding part 13 shrinks by washing by using the ground warp yarn Y2 with many twists.
The mixing ratio of the normal ground warp yarn Y1 and the ground warp yarn Y2 having a large number of twists in the ground structure G3 is not particularly limited, but in FIG. 5, the normal ground warp yarn Y1 and the ground warp yarns Y2 having a large number of twists are alternately arranged. It is used.

As shown in FIG. 6, in the vertical folding portion 13, the distance between the ground wefts X <b> 1 that lock the pile warp Z, that is, the number of skipping the wefts X <b> 1, is as shown in FIG. 4. The number is greater than the number of pile wefts Z1 to which the ground weft X1 is skipped. That is, in the case of FIG. 4, the pile warp Z is locked to the target weft X1 by skipping the ground wefts X1 two by two, but in the case of FIG. 6, the pile warp Z is The ground weft threads X1 are skipped by five and are locked to the target weft threads X1.
This is realized by changing the number of pickups of the ground weft X1 when the towel handkerchief 10 of the embodiment is manufactured.
As a result, the distance between the ground wefts X1 to which the pile warp Z is locked is widened, so that the length of the pile P3 constituted by the pile warp Z is longer than the length of the pile P1 at the remaining portion of the handkerchief body 11. Is getting bigger.
The increase in the pile length can compensate for the low weaving density in the vertical folding portion 13, and the touch and water absorption are improved.
Further, in the vertical folding portion 13, the thickness of the pile warp Z can be made larger than the thickness of the pile warp Z in the remaining portion of the handkerchief body 11 (in FIG. 6, substantially the same thickness as other pile warps). Is drawn). Thereby, the touch and water absorption of the vertical folding part 13 are further improved. The thickness of the pile warp Z of the vertical folding part 13 is increased because the thick yarn is set only in the part corresponding to the vertical folding part 13 in the pile warp beam when the towel handkerchief 10 of the embodiment is manufactured. This is realized.
Although the thickness of the pile warp Z in the vertical folding part 13 is not specifically limited, When the thickness of the pile warp Z of the other location of the handkerchief main body 11 is set to 100%, it can be illustrated that it is 120 to 140%.

In the embodiment, the handkerchief body 11 is square, but the shape is not limited to this, and may be rectangular, elliptical, circular, or the like. In the embodiment, the piles P are formed on both surfaces of the handkerchief body 11, but the piles P may be formed only on one surface.
In the embodiment, both the horizontal folding part 12 and the vertical folding part 13 are formed, but only one of them may be formed. In the embodiment, one horizontal folding part 12 and one vertical folding part 13 are provided, but a plurality of them may be formed.
Moreover, it is also possible to incline the horizontal folding part 12 and the vertical folding part 13 by changing the cutting direction of the raw fabric.
The dimensions of the handkerchief body 11 are not particularly limited, but can be exemplified by about 25 cm × 25 cm.
