Abstract
【解決手段】回路基板モジュール10は、マトリクス状に配置された複数の基板11であって、少なくとも一部の基板11に回路部品が実装される複数の基板11と、複数の基板11のうち、行方向において隣り合う2つの基板11の間に配置され、当該隣り合う2つの基板11を接続する第一フレキシブル基板13と、複数の基板11のうち、列方向において隣り合う2つの基板11の間に配置され、当該隣り合う2つの基板11を接続する第二フレキシブル基板14とを備える。

Description
以下、実施の形態に係る回路基板モジュールについて図面を参照しながら説明する。図1Aは、実施の形態に係る回路基板モジュールの平面図である。図1Bは、実施の形態に係る回路基板モジュールの側面図である。
回路基板モジュール10は、複数の基板11が、複数の第一フレキシブル基板13及び複数の第二フレキシブル基板14によって接続されている。ここで、第一フレキシブル基板13及び第二フレキシブル基板14は、図2A及び図2Bに示されるように屈曲自在(屈曲可能)である。図2Aは、第一フレキシブル基板13及び第二フレキシブル基板14が屈曲された状態の回路基板モジュール10の平面図である。図2Bは、第一フレキシブル基板13及び第二フレキシブル基板14が屈曲された状態の回路基板モジュール10の側面図である。
回路基板モジュール10は、例えば、フレキシブル表示装置に用いられる。そこで、以下、回路基板モジュール10を備えるフレキシブル表示装置について説明する。図4は、フレキシブル表示装置の平面図である。
以上説明したように、回路基板モジュール10は、マトリクス状に配置された複数の基板11であって、少なくとも一部の基板11に回路部品が実装される複数の基板11と、複数の基板11のうち、行方向において隣り合う2つの基板11の間に配置され、当該隣り合う2つの基板11を接続する第一フレキシブル基板13と、複数の基板11のうち、列方向において隣り合う2つの基板11の間に配置され、当該隣り合う2つの基板11を接続する第二フレキシブル基板14とを備える。複数の基板11のうち行方向に並んだ基板群のそれぞれが有する第一配線、及び、行方向に並んだ基板群を接続する第一フレキシブル基板13が有する配線は、行方向に並んだ基板群の一方の端部に位置する基板11から他方の端部に位置する基板11まで続く第一電路15を構成する。また、複数の基板11のうち列方向に並んだ基板群のそれぞれが有する第二配線、及び、列方向に並んだ基板群を接続する第二フレキシブル基板14が有する配線は、列方向に並んだ基板群のうち一方の端部に位置する基板11から他方の端部に位置する基板11まで続く第二電路16を構成する。
以上のように、本出願において開示する技術の例示として、実施の形態を説明した。しかしながら、本開示における技術は、これに限定されず、適宜、変更、置き換え、付加、省略などを行った実施の形態にも適用可能である。また、上記実施の形態で説明した各構成要素を組み合わせて、新たな実施の形態とすることも可能である。

Claims (6)
- マトリクス状に配置された複数の基板であって、少なくとも一部の基板に回路部品が実装される複数の基板と、
前記複数の基板のうち、行方向において隣り合う2つの基板の間に配置され、当該隣り合う2つの基板を接続する第一フレキシブル基板と、
前記複数の基板のうち、列方向において隣り合う2つの基板の間に配置され、当該隣り合う2つの基板を接続する第二フレキシブル基板とを備え、
前記複数の基板のうち前記行方向に並んだ基板群のそれぞれが有する配線、及び、前記行方向に並んだ基板群を接続する前記第一フレキシブル基板が有する配線は、前記行方向に並んだ基板群の一方の端部に位置する基板から他方の端部に位置する基板まで続く第一電路を構成し、
前記複数の基板のうち前記列方向に並んだ基板群のそれぞれが有する配線、及び、前記列方向に並んだ基板群を接続する前記第二フレキシブル基板が有する配線は、前記列方向に並んだ基板群のうち一方の端部に位置する基板から他方の端部に位置する基板まで続く第二電路を構成する
