Abstract
Description
図1を参照すると、2は熱、水素生成装置1の円筒状ハウジング、3はハウジング2内に形成されたバーナー燃焼室、4はハウジング2内に配置された改質用触媒、5はハウジング内に形成されたガス流出室を夫々示す。図1に示される実施例では、ハウジング2の長手方向中央部に改質用触媒4が配置されており、ハウジング2の長手方向一端部にバーナー燃焼室3か配置されており、ハウジング2の長手方向他端部にガス流出室5か配置されている。図1に示されるように、この実施例では、ハウジング2の外周全体が断熱材6により覆われている。
空気がバーナー燃焼室3に供給される。なお、熱、水素生成装置1の作動が停止されるときに、高温空気弁16が開弁されると共に低温空気弁17が閉弁されており、従って、熱、水素生成装置1が作動せしめられたときには、高温空気流通路13を介して空気がバーナー燃焼室3に供給される。次いで、ステップ104では、グロープラグ19の抵抗値から、グロープラグ19の温度TGが算出される。次いで、ステップ105では、グロープラグ19の温度TGが700℃を越えたか否かが判別される。グロープラグ19の温度TGが700℃を越えていないと判別されたときにはステップ103に戻る。これに対し、グロープラグ19の温度TGが700℃を越えたと判別されたときには、着火可能であると判断され、ステップ106に進む。

Claims (4)
- ハウジングと、該ハウジング内に形成されたバーナー燃焼室と、バーナー燃焼室内においてバーナー燃焼を行うための燃料噴射口と空気供給口とを有するバーナーと、該燃料噴射口に燃料を供給するための燃料供給装置と、該空気供給口に空気を供給するための空気供給装置と、該ハウジング内に配置されかつ該バーナー燃焼室内で生成されたバーナー燃焼ガスが送り込まれる改質用触媒とを具備しており、該空気供給装置が、該空気供給口に供給される空気をバーナー燃焼ガスにより加熱するための熱交換部を具備しており、該バーナー燃焼を行うことにより熱および水素を生成するようにした熱、水素生成装置において、該空気供給装置は、該空気供給口に外気を導くための空気流通経路を、該熱交換部を流通して該熱交換部により加熱された外気を該空気供給口に導く高温空気流通経路と、該熱交換部を流通しないことにより該熱交換部において加熱された外気よりも温度の低い外気を該空気供給口に導く低温空気流通経路との間で切換え可能な切換え装置を具備している熱、水素生成装置。
- 該ハウジングの一端に、該燃料噴射口と該空気供給口とを有する該バーナーが配置されており、該ハウジングの他端にガス流出口を具備しており、該バーナーと該ガス流出口との間の該ハウジング内に該改質用触媒が配置されている請求項1に記載の熱、水素生成装置。
- 該改質用触媒と該ガス流出口との間の該ハウジング内に該熱交換部が配置されており、該空気供給口に供給される空気が該改質用触媒から流出したガスにより加熱される請求項2に記載の熱、水素生成装置。
- 該空気ポンプが、吐出量を制御可能なポンプからなる請求項1に記載の熱、水素生成装置。
