開始材料は、スズ及びビスマス合金の糸条であり、それぞれ58質量%、42質量%の割合である。それは、15/100mmの直径を有する。この糸条は、ジビニルベンゼン8質量%と、重合活性化剤(アゾビスイソブチロニトリル)0.4質量%と、10μmに粉砕されたガラス粉末(1容積の溶液に対して1容積のガラス粉末)との混合物の薄層で、浸漬により覆われる。これを窒素下70℃で24時間置く。糸条は、長さ200mmの直線セグメントに切断される。次に、それらを、予め準備した長さ160mm及び内径4mmのガラス管に直径約4mmの束として導入する。
1.2mmの一辺を有する正方形のメッシュに従って分布された0.45mmの直径の100本の毛細導管を有する長さ160mmのアルファアルミナの多孔質の壁を有するモノリスは、20μmの基本直径を有するアルファアルミナ粉末の押し出し及び焼結により製造される。
8gのヒドロキシエチルメタクリレートと、32gのジビニルベンゼンと、445mgのアゾビスイソブチロニトリルと、60gのドデカノールとを含有する混合物を調製し、その混合物を窒素中で20分間脱気する。
118℃で融解する質量48,52のインジウム及びスズの混合物の糸条は、直径0.25mmで製造される。

1.2mmの一辺を有する正方形のメッシュに従って分布された0.45mmの直径の100本の毛細導管を有する長さ150mmのアルファアルミナの多孔質の壁を有するモノリスは、20μmの基本直径を有するアルファアルミナ粉末の押し出し及び焼結により製造される。
内径8mmのガラス管内に、外径300μm、内径240μm、長さ300mm、円筒形状のポリプロピレン製CELGARD X30−240の500本の微多孔質繊維を近接して整列させる。
0.8g/10分のMIを有するポリプロピレン2部及びテトラヒドロナフタレン1.5部を、約160℃の温度で均質な混合物に混合し、140℃で冷却した後、8質量%のジビニルベンゼンを含むスチレン1部に混合する。重合禁止剤として0.5質量%のp−メトキシフェノールを、重合開始剤として0.1質量%のジ−t−ブチルヒドロペルオキシドを混合物に添加する。混合を5分間続ける。次いで、混合物を加圧反応器中で180℃で8時間重合させる。
モノリスは、実施例5で与えられた手順に従って得られる。

モノリスは、実施例18に記載された手順に従って調製される。

分離された種は、アンジオテンシンII(1)及びリゾチーム(2)である。
モノリスのチャネルの予備成形品、それぞれ50、60及び70μmの直径を有するナイロン66の糸条の3つの族からなる束を製造することによって作られる。
その条件は以下のとおりである。
・クロマトグラフAgilent 1100,ダイオード配列を有する検出器
・アイソクラチックモード
・溶媒 100%の水
・室温
・流量:0.01ml/分
・検出波長:235nm
モノリスのチャネルの予備成形品は、直径50μmのポリジオキサノンの糸条からなる束を製造することによって作られる。

Claims (32)
- 分離される種を含む気相、液相、又は超臨界移動相が充填物を通るように循環される、クロマトグラフィー方法であって、
前記充填物は、
前記充填物内において、前記移動相が前記充填物内に浸透する、いわゆる上流面と、前記移動相が前記充填物から出る、いわゆる下流面との間を延びる複数の毛細導管と、
前記毛細導管間を延びる分子拡散を透過する連続媒体であって、多孔質の有機ゲル又は有機液体を含み、分離される少なくとも1つの種の分子の直径の2倍よりも大きいサイズの接続された細孔網を含み、前記毛細導管間に前記少なくとも1つの種の拡散通路を提供するように前記毛細導管上で開口する連続媒体と
を備える、クロマトグラフィー方法。 - 前記毛細導管の壁の間の前記種の所与の濃度差の影響下で、隣り合う毛細導管間で分離される種の拡散の平均モル流量は、導管と、前記毛細導管によって運搬される流体及び前記毛細導管の壁間で分離される種の同じ濃度差の影響下で前記充填物を構成する固定相との間の前記種の拡散の平均モル流量の0.01倍より大きい、請求項1に記載のクロマトグラフィー方法。
- 分離される種に向かう前記連続媒体の透過率は、5000バーラーより大きい、すなわち5×10−7(cm3O2cm)/(cm2s cm Hg)より大きい、請求項1または2に記載のクロマトグラフィー方法。
- 前記充填物の前記毛細導管の直径は500μm以下であり、好ましくは150μm以下であり、さらにより好ましくは50μm以下である、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載のクロマトグラフィー方法。
- 前記連続媒体は有機ゲルで形成され、
前記有機ゲルは、
(a)スチレン及びジビニルベンゼンのコポリマー
(b)ポリメチルメタクリレート
(c)ヒドロキシエチルメタクリレート及びジビニルベンゼンのコポリマー
の中から選択される、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載のクロマトグラフィー方法。 - 前記連続媒体は有機ゲルで形成され、前記有機ゲルはポリホロシドである、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載のクロマトグラフィー方法。
- 前記連続媒体は、前記接続された細孔網内を延びる有機液体で形成され、
前記有機液体は、
(a)脂肪族炭化水素又は芳香族炭化水素
(b)脂肪族アルコール又は芳香族アルコール
(c)脂肪族ケトン又は芳香族ケトン
(d)脂肪族アミン又は芳香族アミン
(d)ハロゲン化有機化合物
の中から選択される、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載のクロマトグラフィー方法。 - 前記充填物は、前記毛細導管を通って延びる分子拡散を透過する有機ゲルのモノリスを備え、前記接続された細孔網は前記有機ゲル内部を延びる、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載のクロマトグラフィー方法。
- 前記充填物は、前記接続された細孔網を含む化学的に不活性な多孔質材料のモノリスを備え、前記細孔は、前記有機ゲル又は分子拡散を透過する前記有機液体で充填されている、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載のクロマトグラフィー方法。
- 前記充填物は、前記接続された細孔網を含む化学的に不活性な多孔質材料のモノリスを備え、前記細孔の表面は、選択された厚さを超える分子拡散を透過する有機ゲルで覆われて、前記接続された細孔網内に前記移動相の拡散用の自由空間を残し、前記有機ゲルは、前記毛細導管間に細孔の連続網を形成する、請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載のクロマトグラフィー方法。
- 前記モノリスの前記化学的に不活性な材料は、シリカ、アルミナ、又はシリカ及びアルミナの組合せから選択される、請求項9または10に記載のクロマトグラフィー方法。
- 前記充填物は多孔質の繊維の積み重ねを備え、各繊維は、前記充填物の毛細導管を形成する内腔と、接続された細孔網を備える壁とを備え、前記繊維は、多孔質の有機ゲル、又は、分子拡散を透過する有機液体と連続して作られる、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載のクロマトグラフィー方法。
- 各繊維の前記壁は、分子拡散を透過する前記有機ゲルで形成される、請求項12に記載のクロマトグラフィー方法。
- 各繊維の前記壁の前記細孔は、多孔質の有機ゲル、又は、分子拡散を透過する有機液体で充填されている、請求項12に記載のクロマトグラフィー方法。
- 各繊維の前記壁の前記細孔の表面は、選択された厚さを超える分子拡散を透過する有機ゲルで覆われて、前記接続された細孔網内に前記移動相の拡散用の自由空間を残し、前記有機ゲルは、前記壁内部に細孔の連続網を形成する、請求項12に記載のクロマトグラフィー方法。
- 分子拡散を透過する前記有機ゲルは前記クロマトグラフィーの固定相を形成する、請求項1〜15のいずれか一項に記載のクロマトグラフィー方法。
- 前記有機ゲルは、前記クロマトグラフィーの固定相を形成する第三者の個体本体を含む細孔を有する、請求項1〜15のいずれか一項に記載のクロマトグラフィー方法。
- 請求項8〜11のいずれか一項に記載のクロマトグラフィー方法を適用するための充填物を製造する方法であって、
−前記毛細導管のいわゆる前駆体糸条の束を準備するステップと、
−モノリスを形成するように、前記前駆体糸条又は前記毛細導管の周りに多孔質のマトリクスを形成するステップと、
−前記毛細導管を形成するように前記前駆体糸条を取り除くステップと
を備える方法。 - 前記マトリクスは有機ゲルである、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 前記マトリクスは化学的に不活性な材料を備え、前記マトリクスには有機ゲルが装填されている、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 前記毛細導管の前記前駆体糸条は、前記マトリクスの劣化温度未満の温度で溶融可能な糸条であり、前記前駆体糸条を取り除くステップは、前記充填物から前記前駆体糸条を溶融して排出することを備える、請求項19〜20のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記溶融可能な糸条は、インジウム、ビスマス、スズ、ガリウム、銀、又は、それらの金属と、鉛、水銀及びカドミウム以外の他の金属との合金の1つを備える、請求項21に記載の方法。
- 請求項12、14又は15のいずれか一項に記載のクロマトグラフィー方法を適用するための充填物を製造する方法であって、
−中空繊維のコンパクトな束を準備するステップと、
−前記中空繊維の前記内腔を解放するとともに開口するように、有機ゲル、又は、重合されることを意図した前記有機ゲルの前駆体を前記中空繊維の多孔質の壁内に含むステップと、
−前記中空繊維間に前記有機ゲル又は前記有機液体との拡散しやすい接続を生成するステップと
を備える方法。 - 請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載のクロマトグラフィー方法を適用するための充填物を製造する方法であって、前記毛細導管を画定する構造体内に前記有機ゲルの成形を達成する方法。
- クロマトグラフィー用の充填物であって、
−移動相が前記充填物内に流入するように意図された、いわゆる上流面と、前記移動相が前記充填物から流出するように意図された、いわゆる下流面との間で前記充填物を横切る複数の毛細導管と、
−前記毛細導管間を延びる分子拡散を透過する連続媒体であって、多孔質の有機ゲル又は有機液体を含み、接続された細孔の少なくとも一族を含む連続媒体と
を備える充填物。 - 前記充填物の前記毛細導管の直径は500μm以下であり、好ましくは150μm以下であり、さらにより好ましくは80μm以下である、請求項25に記載の充填物。

の中から選択される、請求項25または26に記載の充填物。 - 前記毛細導管を通って延びる分子拡散を透過する有機ゲルのモノリスを備える、請求項25〜28のいずれか一項に記載の充填物。
- 細孔の連続網を有する化学的に不活性な多孔質材料のモノリスを備え、前記細孔は、前記有機ゲル又は分子拡散を透過する前記有機液体で充填されている、請求項25〜29のいずれか一項に記載の充填物。
- 接続された細孔網を含む化学的に不活性な多孔質材料のモノリスを備え、前記細孔の表面は、選択された厚さを超える分子拡散を透過する有機ゲルで覆われて、前記接続された細孔網内に前記移動相の拡散用の自由空間を残し、前記有機ゲルは、前記毛細導管間に細孔の連続網を形成する、請求項31に記載の充填物。
