Abstract
Description
Claims (15)
- 光源が同じフレームのデータにおいて交互に明視野及び暗視野にあるように制御すると共に、光源が暗視野にある時間内に空間光変調器の光弁が切り替えられるように制御する制御手段を備えることを特徴とする、表示制御システム。
- 前記光源が暗視野にある時間の長さは等しいことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の表示制御システム。
- 前記制御手段は、同じ原色光を出射する光源が同じフレームのデータにおいて明視野にある時間を、等比になるように制御することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の表示制御システム。
- 前記制御手段は、同じ原色光を出射する光源が同じフレームのデータにおいて明視野にある輝度を、等比になるように制御することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の表示制御システム。
- 前記制御手段は、前記空間光変調器の光弁を、前記光源が暗視野にある時間内に切り替える又はそのまま維持するように制御することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の表示制御システム。
- 前記制御手段は、前記光源のパルス幅又は/及びパルス振幅を制御することを特徴とする、請求項1〜5の何れか1つに記載の表示制御システム。
- 前記制御手段は、前記光源のパルス振幅を制御することによって出力光の輝度を変化させることを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の表示制御システム。
- 請求項1〜7の何れか1つに記載の表示制御システムと、
少なくとも1つの光源と、
少なくとも1つの空間光変調器と、を備え、
前記空間光変調器は、複数の光弁を有し、画像信号を受信して処理すると共に、前記光源から出射される光を受光して変調することを特徴とする、表示装置。 - 前記光源は、変調可能な光源であることを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の表示装置。
- 前記光源は、励起光を出射する固体発光素子と、波長変換材料が設置されている基板を有するカラーホイールとを備え、前記波長変換材料が設置されている基板が所定の経路に沿って移動することによって、前記励起光が波長変換材料の異なる位置に時系列的に照射されることを特徴とする、請求項9に記載の表示装置。
- 前記光源は、少なくとも3つの固体発光素子を備え、
前記少なくとも3つの固体発光素子は、赤色、緑色及び青色の3色の光の何れか1つの色の光を出射することを特徴とする、請求項9に記載の表示装置。 - 前記光源は、1つのカラーホイール及び少なくとも1つの固体発光素子を備え、
前記少なくとも1つの固体発光素子は、励起光を生成するために用いられ、
前記カラーホイールは、前記励起光の光通路に設置され、当該励起光を受光して被励起光を生成するために用いられ、
前記少なくとも1つの固体発光素子により生成された光は、前記空間光変調器によって変調されることを特徴とする、請求項9に記載の表示装置。 - 前記空間光変調器は、1つ設置されており、
前記表示制御システムは、光源が赤色、緑色、及び青色の3色の光を生成するように制御すると共に、空間光変調器が赤色、緑色、及び青色の3色の光を順に変調するように制御することを特徴とする、請求項9に記載の表示装置。 - 前記空間光変調器は、3つ設置されており、
前記表示制御システムは、前記光源が広スペクトル光又は原色光を出射するように制御し、前記原色光又は広スペクトル光が分光されて形成された原色光は、それぞれ、異なる空間光変調器に到達し、前記空間光変調器は、各フレームのデータにおける原色光の階調値に基づいて、受光した原色光を変調することを特徴とする、請求項9に記載の表示装置。 - 前記固体発光素子は、LD、LEDのうちの1つ又は2つの組み合わせを含むことを特徴とする、請求項10〜12の何れか1つに記載の表示装置。
