Claims (18)
- 2つの不混和相(液体および/または固体)を含む流体混合物の処理、特に分離のためのラボオンチップデバイスであって、
入口リザーバ(1)と、分離チャネル(2)と、採取チャネル(5)と、出口(6)とを連続的に含む流体ライン(1、2、5、6)を含み、
前記分離チャネル(2)は、前記2つの相への流体混合物の分離を可能にするように設計された、前記ラボオンチップデバイス。 - 前記チャネル(2)は、毛細管作用によって、流体混合物(例えば血球)の沈降および分離と、精製された流体(例えば血球を含まない血漿または血清)の生成とを誘発するようにサイズ設定される、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 所定体積の処理された流体(例えば血漿/血清)を隔離するために、作動されたとき、前記流体ライン(1、2、5、6)内に気泡(8)を発生する気泡アクチュエータ(4)をさらに含む、請求項1または2に記載のデバイス。
- 前記分離チャネル(2)内での毛細管駆動力によって、精製された流体を生成するように適用された、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載のデバイス。
- 前記分離チャネル(2)内での沈降によって、精製された流体を生成するように適用された、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載のデバイス。
- チャネル寸法、および各表面の濡れ性は、充填速度の正確な制御を可能にするように調整される、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載のデバイス。
- チャネル寸法、および各表面の濡れ性は、フロントフロー(front flow)の形状の正確な制御を可能にするように調整される、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載のデバイス。
- 前記流体ライン(1、2、5、6)と連絡する計測チャネル(12)を含む、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載のデバイス。
- 所定体積の精製された物質を採取チャネル(5)内に隔離するために、前記計測チャネル(12)は、前記相と不混和性の流体(例えば空気)を含むように適用される、請求項8に記載のデバイス。
- 前記計測チャネル(12)内に流体を注入するためのアクチュエータ(4)を含む、請求項8または9に記載のデバイス。
- 前記アクチュエータ(4)は、可撓性材料(例えばPDMSまたはポリスチレン)の薄層によって形成されたプッシュボタンである、請求項10に記載のデバイス。
- 分離チャネル(2)と採取チャネル(5)との間に、流体ライン内に位置する制限要素(3)を含む、請求項1〜11のいずれか1項に記載のデバイス。
- 前記流体ライン(1、2、5、6)内に位置する抗凝固剤(anticoagulation agent)を含む、請求項1〜12のいずれか1項に記載のデバイス。
- 複数の出口(6)を含む、請求項1〜13のいずれか1項に記載のデバイス。
- 複数の流体ライン(1、2、5、6)を含む、請求項14に記載のデバイス。
- 前記出口(6)は、該デバイスの横方向側面に位置する、請求項1〜15のいずれか1項に記載のデバイス。
- 前記出口(6)は、該デバイスの上面に位置する、請求項1〜15のいずれか1項に記載のデバイス。
- 請求項1〜17のいずれか1項に記載のデバイスを使用するための方法であって、
リザーバ(1)に血液滴を充填する工程と、
分離チャネル(2)内で血球(7)と血漿(9)を分離する工程と、
生成された血漿を採取チャネル(5)内に採取する工程と、
採取チャネル(5)の入口で気泡(8)を発生して、両方のチャネルを分離し、所定体積の血漿(9)を出口(6)に向けて押す工程と、
セルロースまたは非セルロースサンプリング媒体(10)を出口(6)にあてがい、乾燥血漿スポット(11)を生成する工程と
を含む、前記方法。
