Claims (4)

物品を収納する物品収納棚と、
前記物品収納棚に物品を搬送する物品搬送装置と、
前記物品搬送装置の作動を制御する制御部と、を備え、
前記物品収納棚は、上下方向に複数並んで配置された物品支持部を備え、
前記物品支持部は、幅方向に並ぶ複数の物品を下方から支持できると共に、前記幅方向に離間して立設される複数の支柱により支持されている物品収納設備であって、
前記物品には、前記幅方向の寸法により分類された複数種別の物品が含まれ、
前記物品支持部の夫々は、上下方向に貫通する貫通部を備え、
前記制御部は、前記物品支持部に支持される物品が収納される領域であって前記幅方向で隣り合う一対の支柱の間に形成される領域を単位収納領域として、前記単位収納領域における前記物品の収納位置を決定する収納位置決定処理を実行し、前記収納位置決定処理にて決定された前記収納位置に前記物品を収納するように前記物品搬送装置を制御し、
前記収納位置決定処理では、前記単位収納領域内における前記幅方向で物品が空間を占有しない単一又は複数の物品不存在領域が、上下方向に並ぶ複数の前記物品支持部について前記幅方向の同じ位置でかつ前記貫通部と上下方向視で重複する位置に形成されるように前記物品の収納位置を決定する物品収納設備。
