The base oil is not particularly limited as long as it is a normal base oil used for grease. For example, distillation under reduced pressure, solvent removal, solvent extraction, hydrocracking, solvent dewaxing, sulfuric acid washing, clay refining, hydrogenation Mineral oil refined from crude oil by appropriately combining treatments such as refining; gas liquefied oil (GTL oil) synthesized from natural gas etc. by Fischer-Tropsch method; for example dibutyl sebacate, di-2-ethylhexyl sebacate, dioctyl Diester synthetic oils such as adipate, diisodecyl adipate, ditridecyl adipate, ditridecyl glutarate, methylacetylcinnolate; Oil; for example, trimethylolpropane caprylate, Polyol ester synthetic oils such as methylolpropane pelargonate, pentaerythritol-2-ethylhexanoate, pentaerythritol belargonate; for example, a complex that is an oligoester of a polyhydric alcohol and a mixed fatty acid of a dibasic acid and a monobasic acid Ester-based synthetic oils such as ester oils; Polyglycol-based synthetic oils such as polyethylene glycol, polypropylene glycol, polyethylene glycol monoether, polypropylene glycol monoether; for example, monoalkyl triphenyl ether, alkyl diphenyl ether, dialkyl diphenyl ether, pentaphenyl ether, Phenyl ethers such as tetraphenyl ether, monoalkyl tetraphenyl ether, and dialkyl tetraphenyl ether Synthetic oils; synthetic hydrocarbon oils such as normal paraffins, isoparaffins, polybutenes, polyisobutylenes, 1-decene oligomers, co-oligomers of 1-decene and ethylene, etc., or hydrides thereof; One type or two or more types of silicone-based synthetic oils such as polysiloxane, diphenylpolysiloxane, and alkyl-modified polysiloxane; and fluorine-based synthetic oils such as perfluoropolyether can be used. Among these, it is preferable to use a synthetic oil because a grease composition excellent in low temperature characteristics can be obtained. It is preferable to use mineral oil because it is superior in cost and easy to obtain despite sufficient seizure resistance performance at low temperatures. In addition, in view of compatibility with various additives, cost, etc., a mixed base oil of two types of mineral oil and synthetic hydrocarbon oil is preferable because it has a good balance and is generally widely used. .
The content of the base oil can be appropriately adjusted so that the penetration of the grease composition satisfies the range described later. The content of the base oil is preferably 70% by mass or more in the total amount of the base oil and the thickener. When the content of the base oil is less than 70% by mass, the penetration of the grease composition tends to decrease, and the torque tends to increase. Further, the content of the base oil is preferably 95% by mass or less. When the content of the base oil exceeds 95% by mass, excessive oil separation is caused, and there is a tendency for leakage from the use location, scattering, and the like.

Carbon number of the hydrocarbon group in aliphatic amine A is 6 or more, and 7 or more is more preferable. When the number of carbon atoms is less than 6, the flash point is low and soluble in water, and the handling thereof tends to be difficult, the gelation ability tends to deteriorate, and the effects of the present invention tend not to be obtained. Moreover, the carbon number of the hydrocarbon group in the aliphatic amine A is 12 or less, and 10 or more is more preferable. Among these, an aliphatic amine having a straight hydrocarbon group and having 8 carbon atoms is preferable, and octylamine is more preferable because it is excellent in availability and anti-seizure performance at a low temperature.
Carbon number of the hydrocarbon group in aliphatic amine B is 16 or more, and 17 or more is more preferable. When the number of carbon atoms is less than 16, the gelation ability tends to deteriorate, the shear stability tends to deteriorate, and the effects of the present invention tend to be difficult to obtain. Moreover, the carbon number of the hydrocarbon group in the aliphatic amine B is 22 or less, and 20 or more is more preferable. When the number of carbon atoms exceeds 22, the melting point becomes high and the handling thereof tends to be difficult, and the effects of the present invention tend not to be obtained.
The aliphatic amine B is preferably a primary amine. The hydrocarbon group of the aliphatic amine B includes branched, linear, and cyclic hydrocarbon groups, and is preferably a linear hydrocarbon group. The hydrocarbon group of the aliphatic amine B includes a saturated hydrocarbon group and an unsaturated hydrocarbon group, and is preferably a saturated hydrocarbon group. Among these, an aliphatic amine having a straight hydrocarbon group and 18 carbon atoms is preferable, and stearylamine is more preferable because it is more easily available and has better seizure resistance performance at low temperatures.
By setting the mixing molar ratio (A: B) of aliphatic amine A and aliphatic amine B in the mixed amine to 0:10 to 2: 8, under a low temperature environment, regardless of the type of base oil contained A grease composition having excellent seizure resistance performance can be obtained. Further, amines other than aliphatic amine A and aliphatic amine B can be contained within the range in which the effects of the present invention are not impaired, but a mixed amine consisting of only aliphatic amine A and aliphatic amine B can be used. preferable.
The mixing molar ratio (A: B) is 0:10 to 2: 8, preferably 1: 9 to 2: 8, and most preferably 2: 8, because it is more excellent in seizure resistance in a low temperature environment. When the content of the aliphatic amine A exceeds 2: 8 (A: B), that is, when the content of the aliphatic amine B is less than 2: 8 (A: B), the seizure resistance performance at a low temperature deteriorates. Tend to.
The diisocyanate compound to be reacted with the mixed amine is preferably an aromatic diisocyanate from the viewpoint of good heat resistance of the grease. In particular, diphenylmethane-4,4'-diisocyanate and 2,6-tolylene diisocyanate are preferable from the viewpoint of good availability, and diphenylmethane-4,4'-diisocyanate is more preferable from the viewpoint of good heat resistance.
The reaction of the mixed amine and the diisocyanate compound can be carried out under various methods and conditions, but it is preferably carried out in the base oil because a diurea compound having a high uniform dispersibility of the thickener can be obtained. The reaction may be carried out by adding a base oil in which a diisocyanate compound is dissolved in a base oil in which aliphatic amine A and aliphatic amine B are dissolved, or a base oil in which a diisocyanate compound is dissolved. You may carry out by adding the base oil which dissolved the aliphatic amine A and the aliphatic amine B in it.
