Description

The present invention relates to a glass run that is fitted along a frame provided on a door of a vehicle and guides a door glass that moves up and down.

As shown in FIG. 7, the glass run 100 is fitted into the frame (door sash) of the front door 1 and the rear door 2 of the vehicle or the frame (door sash) 4 of the slide door 3 as shown in FIG. The door glass 5 which is mounted | worn and raises / lowers is guided.
FIG. 9 shows the glass run 100 attached to the frame (door sash) 4 of the slide door 3. The glass run 100 includes a front vertical side portion 100A and a rear vertical side portion 100B that extend upward from the inside of the door panel of the slide door 3, and a horizontal side portion 100C that connects the upper ends of the two vertical side portions 100A and 100B. ing. The front vertical side portion 100A is fitted along a so-called B pillar, and the rear vertical side portion 100B is fitted along a C pillar. The two vertical side portions 100A and 100B and the horizontal side portion 100C are usually formed by extrusion molding, and the vertical side portions 100A and 100B and the horizontal side portion 100C are connected to each other via a mold forming portion.

Such a glass run 100 is fitted along the frame body 4 having a substantially U-shaped cross section, and the main body section 10 having a substantially U-shaped cross section is formed on the inner side with a groove portion 15 to which the door glass 5 to be moved up and down is assembled. The main body portion 10 is formed by two side wall portions, that is, a vehicle interior side wall portion 11 and a vehicle exterior side wall portion 12, and a connecting wall portion 13 that connects the vehicle interior side wall portion 11 and the vehicle exterior side wall portion 12. . An inner lip portion 17 extending toward the connecting wall portion 13 is formed on the inner surface of the vehicle inner side wall portion 11, that is, the vehicle outer side surface of the vehicle inner side wall portion 11, and the inner surface of the vehicle outer side wall portion 12, that is, An outer lip portion 18 extending toward the connecting wall portion 13 is formed on the vehicle inner side surface of the vehicle outer side wall portion 12. When the door glass 5 is raised and lowered, the inner lip portion 17 is in sliding contact with the inner surface side of the door glass 5, and the outer lip portion 18 is in sliding contact with the outer surface side of the door glass 5.

However, when assembling the door glass 5 to the glass run 100, the glass run 100 is fitted to the frame 4 of the slide door 3, and then the operator manually holds the door glass 5 between the front vertical side portion 100 </ b> A and the rear vertical side portion 100 </ b> B. In order to fit in between, the door glass 5 is fitted into one vertical side, for example, the front vertical side 100A, and then the door glass 5 is fitted to the other vertical side, for example, the rear vertical side 100B. It was very difficult to install and took a long time to assemble.
This is because when the door glass 5 is fitted into the front vertical side portion 100A, the clearance at which the tip of the door glass 5 can be pushed from the groove portion 15 to the connecting wall portion 13 side with respect to the reference position M of the door glass 5 is As shown in FIG. 10, the shock is absorbed when the front end of the door glass 5 with the connecting wall portion 13 protruding inward on the door glass 5 side and the one end of the vehicle outer side wall portion 12 floating from the frame 4 collides. In the glass run 100 of the type that is considered, the clearance is a distance L2 from the front end of the door glass 5 to the inner surface of the connecting wall 13 and a distance L3 from the one end of the vehicle outer side wall 12 to the frame 4. Since there is only a distance and the connecting wall portion 13 is not greatly bent, the fitting operation of the door glass 5 is complicated. Further, as shown in FIG. 9, in order to increase the distance L1 between the front end of the door glass 5 and the inner surface of the connecting wall portion 13, a glass run 100 of a type that does not have a buffer structure for the front end of the door glass 5 may be used. However, as will be described later, if there is no buffer structure, it is not preferable because abnormal noise is generated due to vibration or collision of the door glass 5 or because there is only a distance L1 from the front end of the door glass 5 to the inner surface of the connecting wall portion 13. .

The difficulty in fitting the door glass 5 is unlikely to be a problem because the door glass 5 on the front door 1 side shown in FIG. In the door glass 5 on the rear door 2 side shown in FIG. 5, the division bar 7 that partitions the rear quarter glass 6 and the door glass 5 can be inserted after the door glass 5 is assembled, so this is also a problem. Absent.
On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 8, the assembly workability is particularly good in the type in which the rectangular door glass 5 is fitted between the vertical side portions 100 </ b> A and 100 </ b> B erected from the front and rear of the door panel of the slide door 3. It becomes a problem.

On the other hand, in FIG. 5 of Patent Document 1, by forming a stretched portion having a substantially V-shaped cross-section projecting to the door glass side on the connecting wall portion of the glass run, the door glass of the stretchable portion is closed when the door glass is closed. The thing which absorbed the impact by making the end surface contact | abut and reduced generation | occurrence | production of the impact sound is disclosed.

Japanese Patent No. 4385858

However, the expansion / contraction part formed in the glass run described in Patent Document 1 is folded in a lip shape so that the inner variable part and the outer variable part overlap with each other in the lateral direction due to vibration of the door glass during traveling. Although the movement is restricted, the structure is related to the lateral side portion 100C (vehicle roof side) shown in FIG. 8 and does not eliminate the difficulty in incorporating the door glass into the glass run.
Further, the glass run described in Patent Document 1 is attached to the front door of the vehicle, and there is no particular problem regarding the difficulty of fitting the door glass.
Furthermore, when the glass run described in Patent Document 1 is attached to the frame (sash), the telescopic portion is contracted to translate the vehicle inner side wall portion and the vehicle outer side wall portion, and the main body portion is in a non-deployed cross section. Because it is fitted in a substantially U-shaped state, when the glass run is attached to the frame body, pressure is applied to the vehicle inner side wall portion and the vehicle outer side wall portion so as to spread outward. When the inner lip portion and the outer lip portion are brought into sliding contact with each other, it is difficult to set the pressure as intended.

Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide a glass run structure capable of improving the workability of assembling the door glass with respect to the glass run having a buffer structure for the front end of the door glass.

In order to achieve the above object, a glass run of the present invention is fitted along a frame (4) having a substantially U-shaped cross section provided on a door (3) of a vehicle, and is moved up and down. Is connected to the groove (15), and connects the vehicle inner side wall (11), the vehicle outer side wall (12), one end of the vehicle inner side wall (11) and one end of the vehicle outer side wall (12). A main body portion (10) having a substantially U-shaped cross section comprising a connecting wall portion (30) that extends from the vehicle outer side surface of the vehicle inner side wall portion (11) toward the connecting wall portion (13) side. An inner lip portion (17) slidably contacting the glass (5), and an outer lip portion extending from the vehicle inner side surface of the vehicle outer side wall portion (12) toward the connecting wall portion (13) and slidably contacting the door glass (5) A glass run (100) in which (18) is formed,
The connecting wall (30)
A position having one end (31a) connected to one end of the vehicle outer side wall (12) and the other end (31b) approaching the other end of the vehicle outer side wall (12). A first connecting wall (31) disposed on
It has a 2nd connection wall part (32) which connects the other end (31b) of the said 1st connection wall part (31), and the end of the said vehicle interior side wall part (11), It is characterized by the above-mentioned.

In the present invention, the second connection wall (32) has a substantially mountain-shaped cross section, and is substantially orthogonal to the vehicle outer side wall (12) from the other end (31b) of the first connection wall (31). It extends in the direction to be bent, is bent or curved on the indoor side, and is inclined and extended to one end of the vehicle interior side wall (11).

Further, according to the present invention, the top portion (31c) of the first connection wall portion (31) is more than the straight line (T) connecting one end of the vehicle outer side wall portion (12) and one end of the vehicle inner side wall portion (11). It is located in the opening part side of a main-body part (10), It is characterized by the above-mentioned.

In the present invention, the door glass (5) has a substantially rectangular shape assembled to the slide door (3), and the glass run (100) is substantially parallel to the front and rear of the vehicle with respect to the door glass (5). It has a front vertical side portion (100A) and a rear vertical side portion (100B) which are erected.

Note that symbols in parentheses indicate corresponding elements or corresponding matters described in the drawings and modes for carrying out the invention described later.

According to the present invention, the connecting wall portion that connects the vehicle inner side wall portion and the vehicle outer side wall portion includes the first connecting wall portion having a substantially V-shaped cross section, the other end of the first connecting wall portion, and the vehicle inner side wall portion. When the operator manually assembles the door glass with respect to the glass run fitted to the frame, the tip of the door glass is inserted into the groove. The pressure which abuts on the second connecting wall and pushes it from the second connecting wall into the first connecting wall is transmitted.
Correspondingly, the first connecting wall portion bends so as to close the opening having a substantially V-shaped cross section, so that a sufficient clearance can be obtained as compared with the conventional example, and the door glass can be easily assembled. Can be. The first connecting wall portion having a substantially V-shaped cross section has a buffering function when the front end of the door glass collides.

Further, according to the present invention, the second connecting wall portion has a substantially mountain-shaped cross section, extends from the other end of the first connecting wall portion in a direction substantially orthogonal to the vehicle outer side wall portion, and is bent or curved on the indoor side. Then, when the front end of the door glass comes into contact with the second connecting wall portion, the side portion extending from the bent or curved portion toward the first connecting wall portion side is inclined to the one end of the vehicle inner side wall portion. It extends in a direction inclined to one end side of the vehicle outer side wall portion from a direction substantially orthogonal to the side wall portion.
As a result, the tip of the door glass is easily guided so as to slide along the inclined direction, and the door glass is pushed into the back side of the groove, reducing the burden on the operator and improving the workability of assembling the door glass. Can be made.

Further, according to the present invention, the top portion of the first connecting wall portion is positioned closer to the opening side of the main body portion than the straight line connecting one end of the vehicle outer side wall portion and one end of the vehicle inner side wall portion. The top of the connecting wall portion is more compact than the straight line connecting one end of the vehicle outer side wall portion and one end of the vehicle inner side wall portion. It is rich.

Further, according to the present invention, in the case of a slide door vehicle of a type in which a substantially rectangular door glass is assembled to the front vertical side portion and the rear vertical side portion that are erected substantially in parallel with the front and rear of the vehicle, This is particularly effective in that the difficulty of assembly can be solved.

With reference to FIG. 1 thru | or FIG. 5 and FIG. 8, the glass run 100 which concerns on embodiment of this invention is demonstrated. In addition, the same code | symbol was attached | subjected to the same part as what was shown in the prior art example.
As shown in FIG. 8, a glass run 100 according to an embodiment of the present invention is fitted to a frame body (door sash) 4 having a substantially U-shaped cross section of a slide door 3, and is moved up and down in a substantially rectangular shape. Is to guide you.
The glass run 100 includes a front vertical side portion 100A and a rear vertical side portion 100B, which are erected substantially parallel to the front and rear of the vehicle so as to extend upward from the inside of the door panel of the slide door 3, and two vertical side portions 100A. , 100B, the horizontal side portion 100C connecting the upper ends. The front vertical side portion 100A is fitted along the B pillar, and the rear vertical side portion 100B is fitted along the C pillar. The two vertical side portions 100A and 100B and the horizontal side portion 100C are usually formed by extrusion molding, and the vertical side portions 100A and 100B and the horizontal side portion 100C are connected to each other via a mold forming portion. The front vertical side portion 100A and the rear vertical side portion 100B are attached to the frame 4 so that the opening sides face each other, and are substantially the same except for the mounting direction. The side 100A will be described as an example. That is, a procedure for fitting the front end of the door glass 5 prior to the front vertical side portion 100A and then fitting into the rear vertical side portion 100B will be described, but conversely, the rear vertical side portion 100B precedes the front side. The vertical side portion 100A is not changed thereafter.

The glass run 100 </ b> A (100) has a main body 10 having a substantially U-shaped cross section that forms a groove 15 that guides the door glass 5 that moves up and down, and the main body 10 has two side walls, an inboard side wall 11. And the vehicle interior side wall portion 12 and the connection wall portion 30 that connects the vehicle interior side wall portion 11 and the vehicle exterior side wall portion 12.
An inner lip portion 17 extending from the vehicle inner side wall portion 11 toward the connecting wall portion 30 is formed on the vehicle outer side surface of the vehicle inner side wall portion 11, and a vehicle outer side wall is formed on the vehicle inner side surface of the vehicle outer side wall portion 12. An outer lip portion 18 is formed that extends from the portion 12 toward the connecting wall portion 30 side. The inner lip portion 17 and the outer lip portion 18 are provided so as to sandwich the door glass 5 from the inside and the outside of the vehicle, and are in sliding contact with the surface of the door glass 5 that moves up and down.

Further, a lip portion 19a is extended from the vehicle inner side wall portion 11 toward the vehicle outer side. The lip portion 19 a is in contact with the inner side of the inner lip portion 17 that is bent toward the vehicle inner side wall portion 11 by slidingly contacting the door glass 5, thereby supporting the inner lip portion 17. A holding lip portion 19b is provided on the inner side surface of the vehicle inner side wall portion 11, and an end portion of the frame body 4 is inserted between the holding lip portion 19b and the vehicle inner side wall portion 11. Then, the glass run 10 is held.

And as shown in FIG. 1, the connection wall part 30 consists of the 1st connection wall part 31 of a cross-sectional substantially V shape, and the 2nd connection wall part 32 of a cross-sectional substantially mountain shape.

One end 31a of the first connection wall portion 31 is connected to one end of the vehicle outer side wall portion 12, and the other end 31b of the first connection wall portion 31 is at a position close to the other end side of the vehicle outer side wall portion 12. Has been placed. That is, the opening of the first connection wall 31 is opposed to the vehicle outer side wall 12 side, and the top 31c of the first connection wall 31 is opposed to the vehicle inner side wall 11 side. Further, the top portion 31 c of the first connecting wall portion 31 is positioned on the opening side of the main body portion 10 with respect to a straight line T connecting one end of the vehicle outer side wall portion 12 and one end of the vehicle inner side wall portion 11.
This is to cause the first connecting wall portion 31 having a substantially V-shaped cross section to exhibit a high bending and stretching motion, as will be described later. That is, the first connecting wall portion 31 bends when the tip of the door glass 5 collides and is pushed in, and returns to its original state when separated. Accordingly, if the top portion 31c of the first connection wall portion 31 is provided on a straight line T connecting one end of the vehicle outer side wall portion 12 and one end of the vehicle inner side wall portion 11, the top portion 31c of the first connection wall portion 31 and the Since the wall part which connects the other end 31b of the one connection wall part 31 approaches parallel to the side surface of the door glass 5 (the angle which cross | intersects the side surface of the door glass 5 is small), it becomes difficult to bend and it is unpreferable. Further, the top portion 31c is provided on the straight line T connecting one end of the vehicle outer side wall portion 12 and one end of the vehicle inner side wall portion 11 while ensuring flexibility (increasing the angle at which the side surface of the door glass 5 intersects). And the distance of the wall part which connects the top part 31c and the other end 31b will become large unnecessarily. Moreover, since the one end 31a of the 1st connection wall part 31 does not operate | move as a bending point, bendability will also be inferior.

The second connecting wall 32 connects the other end 31b of the first connecting wall 31 and one end of the vehicle inner side wall 11 and is connected to the vehicle outer side wall 12 from the other end 31b of the first connecting wall 31. Extending in a direction substantially orthogonal to the inner side of the vehicle interior side wall portion 11, which is curved (or bent) at the indoor side, here, at the approximate center of the groove portion 15.

In the cross-sectional shape of the first connecting wall portion 31, the length from the top portion 31c to one end 31a connected to one end of the vehicle outer side wall portion 12 is slightly longer than the length from the top portion 31c to the other end 31b. As shown in FIG. 2, the other end 31 b of the first connection wall portion 31 does not contact the vehicle outer side wall portion 12 until the door glass 5 contacts the second connection wall portion 32, but the door glass 5 When the first connecting wall portion 31 is bent so as to close the opening having a substantially V-shaped cross section in contact with the second connecting wall portion 32 and interlocked with the movement of the second connecting wall portion 32, the other end 31b is shown in FIG. As shown, the vehicle outer side wall portion 12 is brought into contact. In addition, as shown in FIG. 4, when the door glass 5 is pushed in and the opening of the substantially V-shaped cross section of the first connection wall portion 31 is bent so as to be completely closed, The length from the top part 31c of the 1st connection wall part 31 to the other end 31b can also be set so that the end 31b may not contact the vehicle outer side wall part 12. FIG.

Further, the second connecting wall portion 32 has a cross-sectional shape in which the length of the curved portion 32c from the one end 32a connected to the other end 31b of the first connecting wall portion 31 to the curved portion 32c extends from the vehicle interior side wall portion 11. The length up to the other end 32b connected to one end is made longer. In addition, the curved portion 32c to the other end 32b of the second connecting wall portion 32 bulges toward the opening side of the main body portion 10, and as shown in FIG. When the opening having the substantially V-shaped cross section of the first connecting wall portion 31 is bent so as to be completely closed, the first connecting wall portion 31 is prevented from contacting the top portion 31c of the first connecting wall portion 31. Accordingly, the top portion 31c of the first connection wall portion 31 does not press the end portion on the connection wall 30 side of the vehicle interior side wall portion 11 to the indoor side via the second connection wall portion 32, and the set of the glass run 100A. Does not affect the attachment status.

In addition, the thickness of the first connecting wall portion 31 and the thickness of the second connecting wall portion 32 are substantially equal and slightly smaller than the thickness of the vehicle outer side wall portion 12. As shown in FIG. 4, when the door glass 5 is pushed into the first connecting wall portion 31 so that the substantially V-shaped opening of the cross section is bent so as to be completely closed, the vehicle at the front end of the door glass 5. The curved portion 32c of the second connecting wall portion 32 abuts on the inner side, and the tip of the door glass 5 is pushed toward the vehicle outer side wall portion 12 by the pressure of the curved portion 32c. Thereby, as shown in FIG. 5, the door glass 5 pushed into the bottom of the connecting wall 30 is easily tilted in the groove 15 with the tip of the door glass 5 as a fulcrum and the opposite side facing the vehicle interior. Can do.

Examples of the material of the main body 10, the inner lip 17 and the outer lip 18 of the glass run 100A include EPDM rubber, olefin-based thermoplastic elastomer, styrene-based thermoplastic elastomer, and the like. Any elastic body may be used. In addition, the product may have a single configuration of one of these materials or a configuration in which two or more types are combined. A foamed product can also be used.

According to the glass run 100 </ b> A configured as described above, when the operator manually attaches the door glass 5 to the glass run 100 </ b> A fitted to the frame body 4, the tip of the door glass 5 is inserted into the groove portion 15. The door glass 5 abuts on the second connecting wall portion 32, and the pressure for pushing from the second connecting wall portion 32 to the first connecting wall portion 31 is transmitted. At the same time, a stress that pushes back the tip of the door glass 5 from the first connecting wall portion 31 through the second connecting wall portion 32 is exhibited.
When the door glass 5 is further pushed in from this abutting state, the first connecting wall portion 31 is correspondingly moved from the top portion 31c to the portion from the top portion 31c to the one end 31a in the cross-sectional shape as shown in FIG. Since the portion up to the other end 31b overlaps and bends so as to completely close the opening having a substantially V-shaped cross section, a sufficient clearance can be taken when the door glass 5 is assembled to the glass run 100A.

Therefore, after assembling the front side of the door glass 5 to the groove 15 of the glass run 100A serving as the front vertical side, the rear side of the door glass 5 is easily assembled to the groove 15 of the glass run 100B serving as the rear vertical side. Can be attached. That is, in the glass run 100B serving as the rear vertical side portion, it is necessary to “dodge” the window opening side end of the vehicle exterior side wall portion 12 where the front end of the door glass 5 is located in the glass run 100B. Sufficient clearance at 100A enables a “dodging” action at the rear vertical side 100B.

Further, when the door glass 5 comes into contact with the curved portion 32c from the one end 32a on the vehicle exterior side of the second coupling wall portion 32, the second coupling wall portion 32 curves from the one end 32a. Since the portion of the side extending to the portion 32c is inclined from the direction substantially orthogonal to the vehicle outer side wall portion 11 to one end side of the vehicle outer side wall portion 11, the tip of the door glass 5 is slid along the inclined direction. Since it is easily guided and pushed to the back side of the groove portion 15, the burden on the operator is reduced and the workability of assembling the door glass 5 can be further improved.

Moreover, when the front end of the door glass 5 is pushed into the back side of the groove portion 15, the door glass 5 is brought into contact with the door glass 5 in the groove portion 15 as shown in FIG. The door glass 5 is attracted to the groove 15 in the rear vertical side portion 100B because the opposite side is easily inclined toward the vehicle inner side with the tip of 5 as a fulcrum.

Further, when the door glass 5 is assembled to the groove portion 15, the door glass 5 abuts on the second connecting wall portion 32, and the first connecting wall portion 31 has a substantially V-shaped cross section in conjunction with the movement of the second connecting wall portion 32. Since the stress from the first connection wall portion 31 having a substantially V-shaped cross section is generated when the door is bent to close the opening, the operator can grasp the position of the door glass 5 without visually observing the rear connection wall. Before the door glass 5 enters the groove 15 of the side vertical side portion 100B, the load of the door glass 5 can be temporarily stored in the front side vertical side portion 100A, and for example, the hand held can be changed or the work status can be confirmed. As shown in FIG. 3, when the first connecting wall portion 31 bends so as to close the opening having a substantially V-shaped cross section, the other end 31 b of the first connecting wall portion 31 contacts the vehicle outer side wall portion 12. By doing so, the stress from the 1st connection wall part 31 of a cross-sectional substantially V shape can also be raised.

Further, according to the present embodiment, the cross-sectional shape of the second connecting wall portion 32 is partially curved to have a substantially mountain-shaped cross section. However, as shown in FIG. The other end 31b on the opening 10 side may be extended substantially linearly without providing a part that is partially curved from the other end 31b to one end of the vehicle interior side wall 11.
According to this, when the door glass 5 abuts on the second connecting wall portion 32, the second connecting wall portion 32 overlaps the side from the top portion 31 c to the other end 31 b of the first connecting wall portion 31, and then the first Although the opening having a substantially V-shaped cross section of the connecting wall portion 31 is bent so as to be completely closed, a sufficient clearance can be obtained when the door glass 5 is assembled to the glass run 100A.

In addition, even if the door glass 5 may collide with the connecting wall portion 30 during traveling of the vehicle after the door glass 5 is assembled, the connecting wall portion 30 facing the front end of the door glass 5 in the present embodiment. The buffering function is exhibited by the first connecting wall portion 31 and the second connecting wall portion 32 that enable the bend.

In addition, according to the present embodiment, the sliding door vehicle of the type in which the substantially rectangular door glass 5 is assembled to the front vertical side portion 100A and the rear vertical side portion 100B which are erected substantially parallel to the front and rear of the vehicle. Although the example applied to the case has been described, as shown in FIG. 7, as in the case of a front door 1 of a sedan car, when the door glass 5 having a shape in which the front side of the vehicle is inclined and descends is assembled to the glass run 100, As with the rear door 2 of the sedan car, the division bar 7 that partitions the rear quarter glass 6 and the door glass 5 can be applied even when the door glass 5 is inserted and both are applied to the glass run 100. Assembling of the door glass 5 can be further facilitated.
