Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a culture room and a culture facility.
Conventionally, when an animal cell such as a human is artificially cultured, it is cultured in a culture chamber equipped with an incubator (see, for example, Patent Document 1).
By the way, infertility is diagnosed when a person who desires pregnancy cannot reach pregnancy within 1 to 2 years without contraception. One treatment for infertility (hereinafter referred to as infertility treatment) is in vitro fertilization (conventional in vitro fertilization, microinsemination). In in vitro fertilization, an embryo obtained by culturing a fertilized egg for several days (usually about 2 to 5 days) is returned to the uterus. Usually, in vitro fertilization is performed in a hospital having a culture room for culturing fertilized eggs.
Fertilized egg culture (hereinafter referred to as embryo culture) is a delicate work, and the culture chamber is sealed because it requires a cleanliness close to the environment of the female body (in the fallopian tube), etc. It was not considered to show the culture room to the visitors.
When in vitro fertilization is one of the options for infertility treatment, patients have various burdens such as injection, surgery, etc. Have It is an object of the present invention to reduce the mental burden of those patients.
SUMMARY An advantage of some aspects of the invention is to solve at least a part of the problems described above, and the invention can be implemented as the following forms.
(1) According to one aspect of the present invention, there is provided a culture chamber provided with an incubator for culturing human fertilized eggs. The culture chamber includes a floor and a windowed window having a window, and the window is provided at a height H from the floor so that a center in the height direction of the window is located. H is {(average height of women at the infertility treatment target age) −100 mm} to {(average height of women at the infertility treatment target age) −50 mm}.
According to the culture chamber of this form, the culture chamber can be disclosed through the window. Further, in this culture room, the center in the height direction of the window provided on the wall is a height H {(average height of women of infertility treatment age) -100 mm} to {(women of infertility treatment age). Average height) -50 mm}. When there is a window at that height, patients undergoing infertility treatment can easily see the culture chamber through the window. Since embryo culture is very important in the success or failure of in vitro fertilization, anxiety of the patient can be reduced by disclosing the inside of the culture chamber.
(2) The culture chamber of the above-described form, wherein the height H ranges from {(average height of women aged 20 to 49 years) -100 mm} to {(average height of women aged 20 to 49 years) -50 mm }.
In Japan, many patients in their 20s to 40s currently consider in vitro fertilization as an option. Therefore, if there is a window at this height in the culture room, the patient can easily see the culture room through the window. Since embryo culture is very important in the success or failure of in vitro fertilization, anxiety of the patient can be reduced by disclosing the inside of the culture chamber.
(3) A culture chamber according to another aspect of the present invention, comprising a floor and a windowed wall having a window, wherein the window is at a height H from the floor and in the center in the height direction of the window. The height H is 1480-1530 mm. According to the culture chamber of this embodiment, most patients who consider in vitro fertilization as an option can easily see the culture chamber through the window.
(4) In the culture chamber of the above aspect, the window may have a substantially rectangular shape having a planar shape with a height of about 300 to 500 mm and a width of about 3500 to 4500 mm. Here, the substantially rectangular shape includes a rounded rectangular shape and a rectangular shape including a distortion whose corner is not 90 degrees. As described above, when the planar shape of the window is long and the area is relatively small, the inside of the culture chamber can be seen from the outside of the culture chamber through the window, but it is difficult to see the outside of the culture chamber from the inside of the culture chamber. As a result, it is possible to reduce the stress caused by the line of sight from the outside of the culture room on the person (embryo cultivator etc.) who performs the work related to embryo culture.
(5) The culture chamber according to the above aspect, wherein the windowed wall is connected to the first wall, the first wall, and a predetermined angle of 90 degrees or more and less than 180 degrees in the room. The window may be provided across the first wall and the second wall. In this way, it is possible to show a wide range in the culture chamber even if the window width is relatively short. In the case of the culture chamber of this form, the shape (virtual shape) of the window in a state where the first wall and the second wall are opened at 180 degrees (opened horizontally) is a plane parallel to the windowed wall. Shape.
(6) In the culture chamber of the above aspect, the width of the window may be about 11 to 15% of the entire circumference of the culture chamber. Even in this case, the inside of the culture chamber can be disclosed while suppressing stress due to the line of sight from the outside of the culture chamber to the embryo cultivator.
(7) A culture chamber having the above-described configuration, which includes a windowless wall having no window, and the area of the window is about 1. It may be 5 to 2.5%. Even in this case, the inside of the culture chamber can be disclosed while suppressing stress due to the line of sight from the outside of the culture chamber to the embryo cultivator.
(8) According to another aspect of the present invention, a culture facility is provided. The culture facility includes the culture room according to any one of (1) to (7), a sperm processing room for processing human sperm, and an office room for performing office work related to processing in the culture room. The culturing chamber is in contact with the sperm processing chamber and the office room and can come and go. According to this culture facility, since the culture room is in contact with the sperm processing room and the office room and can come and go, it is possible to shorten the flow line of the worker involved in embryo culture, and to improve the work efficiency.
(9) The culture facility according to the above aspect, further comprising a tour room provided in contact with the windowed wall of the culture room, wherein the average illuminance in the tour room is smaller than the average illuminance in the culture room Good. In this way, although the culture room is easy to see from the observation room, it is difficult to see the observation room from the culture room, and it is possible to suppress stress caused by the line of sight from the observation room to the embryo cultivator in the culture room.
(8) In the culture facility according to the above aspect, the sperm processing room and the office room may be arranged to be visible from the tour room through the window. In this way, you can see most of the work related to embryo culture from the tour room. As a result, patient anxiety can be reduced.
A plurality of constituent elements of each aspect of the present invention described above are not indispensable, and some or all of the effects described in the present specification are to be solved to solve part or all of the above-described problems. In order to achieve the above, it is possible to appropriately change, delete, replace with another new component, and partially delete the limited contents of some of the plurality of components. In order to solve part or all of the above-described problems or to achieve part or all of the effects described in this specification, technical features included in one embodiment of the present invention described above. A part or all of the technical features included in the other aspects of the present invention described above may be combined to form an independent form of the present invention.
A. First embodiment:
FIG. 1 is an explanatory diagram schematically showing the
The
As shown in FIG. 2, the
In the present embodiment, the length of the entire circumference of the
Since embryo culture is originally performed in the female body (in the fallopian tube), the embryo culture is preferably carried out in an environment close to that in the fallopian tube. Therefore, the
In the
The
According to the
The
Further, the joint between the
B. Second embodiment:
FIG. 3 is an explanatory diagram schematically showing a
The
The
The
As described above, the
Since the
The
The
Further, the average illuminance in the
In addition, a door with an authentication type lock is provided between the
As described above, according to the
C. Variations:
In addition, this invention is not restricted to said embodiment, In the range which does not deviate from the summary, it can be implemented in a various aspect, For example, the following deformation | transformation is also possible.

(2) Further, the
(3) The ratio of the width of the
(4) The installation height of the window 30 (height H from the
(5) In the above embodiment, the
(6) In the above embodiment, the configuration in which the
