Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of the procurement of broadleaf tree sawdust powders mainly used in medium base materials of conventional mushroom beds being getting harder because of labor shortage in the inter-mountainous area that is a production area of broadleaf trees, and to solve the problem of the procurement cost of broadleaf trees being becoming high.SOLUTION: The subject is solved by using bamboo sawdust powders and bamboo chips for the medium base material of mushrooms instead of broadleaf tree sawdust powders. Thereby, the procurement of medium base materials can be performed inexpensively and readily. The quality and yield as a mushroom product which are equivalent to or more those by broadleaf tree sawdust powders can be secured. Therefore, it can contribute to the reduction of the production cost of mushrooms. It can be applied widely to a mushroom cultivation with a wood destroying fungus such as Lentinula edodes, Flammulina velutipes, Ganoderma lucidum, Pleurotus eryngii, Lyophyllum shimeji and the like.

Description

The present invention relates to fungal bed cultivation technology in the field of artificial cultivation of mushrooms.

(非特許文献1参照)  Conventionally, wood sawdust, chips or corn cob has been used as a culture medium substrate for fungus bed in conventional artificial mushroom cultivation. (See Non-Patent Document 1)

Hardwoods are overwhelmingly used for wood sawdust.

Coniferous sawdust is poorly compatible with mushrooms and is only used as a secondary agent for limited mushrooms such as eringi and shimeji. It is currently used as a main base material.

However, hardwood sawdust such as firewood and kunugi is scarce nationwide and the price is soaring, making it difficult to obtain.

The reason for this is that, along with the aging of forestry workers, there are no successors of youth now, and the convenient satoyama where hardwood trees were growing has retreated to inconvenient remote areas. In this way, it is difficult to obtain hardwood sawdust.

In the technical background of fungus bed cultivation of mushrooms, hardwood, which is a raw material for sawdust, is difficult to obtain easily and inexpensively, so we studied the development of alternative materials for hardwood.

In the past, shochu lees, starch lees, etc. have been tried as substitutes for hardwood oga powder, but they have not yet become popular.

In this invention, it was set as the solution means of the said subject by using bamboo sawdust and a chip | tip as a culture medium base material of a fungus bed. Bamboo sawdust has been used for livestock feed, agricultural fertilizers, etc., but there has been no use as a medium for mushroom bed.

In a fungus bed that uses bamboo sawdust and chips as a medium base material and is mixed with nutrients and mycelial growth agents as usual, the growth of the fungi does not progress slowly even if inoculated with inoculum. This is due to the fact that the cell walls of bamboo are extremely hard compared to those of hardwood.

Therefore, by adding a suitable amount of hardwood sawdust preferred by mushrooms or substitutes thereof (corn cob, dried powder of shochu lees, dry powder of starch debris, etc.), the fungus settles at an early stage. It was fast and succeeded in promoting proliferation.

Bamboo sawdust that replaces hardwood sawdust as a medium base material can be obtained very easily and inexpensively.

Bamboo groves in hilly and mountainous areas are not well managed due to labor shortages associated with depopulation, and even the deforestation is progressing, but even entry is difficult. However, new use of bamboo can contribute to the restoration of satoyama.

The yield of mushrooms was higher than that of hardwood sawdust bed.

The quality of mushrooms can be equal to or higher than that of hardwood sawdust by adjusting the mixing ratio of base materials and nutritional supplements according to the type of mushroom, density of fungus bed, and moisture. .

All machines and equipment other than the bamboo saw mill can be used.

Procurement of the medium substrate is inexpensive and easy, which can contribute to a significant reduction in cultivation costs.

It can be almost applied to mushrooms caused by wood-rotting fungi. Typical examples are shiitake mushrooms, enokitake mushrooms, eringgi, shimeji mushrooms, and kakukaku reishi.
