Abstract
Procedure for the growth of organic and biodegradable structures from agricultural waste and mushroom mycelium, and its use as insulating components in construction, characterized by its design and manufacture of coherent thermal insulation structures with certain rigidity, 100% organic and biodegradable, using for this agricultural waste (straw, wood shavings, leaves, seed husks ...) and seeds of different species of fungus (pleurotus ostreatus, lentinula edodes, ganoderma lucidum ...). The fundamental novelty of the invention lies in the use of the conglomerating qualities provided by the mushroom mycelium and its ease of growth on the suitable agricultural substrate to generate rigid and coherent, biodegradable geometries with insulating qualities. Likewise, it presents as a novelty the use of these structures for architectural and construction purposes and also, a series of designs and prototypes manufactured for specific uses such as insulating panels, wall modules or modular components to form aggregation structures to delimit spaces or serve as support for vertical gardens.
