Abstract
Description
Claims (20)
- 凹状面および凸状面を有し、前記凹状面が、瞳孔の上を覆う角膜表面上に取外し可能に装着されるように構成され、前記凸状面が、前記凹状面を前記角膜表面上に装着したときに眼瞼運動と適合性をもつように構成された、透明材料と、
前記透明材料に少なくとも部分的に埋め込まれた基板と、
前記基板上に配設され、前記凹状面を前記角膜表面上に装着したときに前記瞳孔を通して見える光を放射するように構成された光源と、
前記基板上に配設され、前記光源によって放射された前記光を変調して変調後の光を提供するように構成された回路とを備える、眼球装着可能デバイス。 - 前記回路が、前記光源によって放射された前記光の色、輝度、強度、または持続時間の少なくとも1つを変調するように構成される、請求項1に記載の眼球装着可能デバイス。
- 光電池をさらに備え、前記光電池が、前記光電池に入射する光に基づいて前記眼球装着可能デバイスに電力を提供するように構成される、請求項1に記載の眼球装着可能デバイス。
- 前記光源に光学的に結合された光学素子をさらに備え、前記光学素子が、前記瞳孔を通して前記光源によって放射された前記光を集束するように構成される、請求項1に記載の眼球装着可能デバイス。
- 前記光学素子がフレネルレンズを含む、請求項4に記載の眼球装着可能デバイス。
- 前記変調後の光がメッセージを示す、請求項1に記載の眼球装着可能デバイス。
- 前記メッセージが、前記眼球装着可能デバイスの状態または前記眼球装着可能デバイスに含まれる構成要素の状態に関連する、請求項6に記載の眼球装着可能デバイス。
- 前記基板上に配設されるとともに前記回路に結合されるセンサをさらに備え、前記センサが読取り値を取得するように構成され、前記メッセージが前記読取り値に関連する、請求項6に記載の眼球装着可能デバイス。
- 前記基板上に配設されるとともに前記回路に結合されるアンテナをさらに備え、前記アンテナが情報を受信するように構成され、前記メッセージが前記受信した情報に関連する、請求項6に記載の眼球装着可能デバイス。
- 前記アンテナが、前記アンテナに入射する放射に基づいて前記眼球装着可能デバイスに電力を提供するように構成される、請求項9に記載の眼球装着可能デバイス。
- 前記アンテナが、前記眼球装着可能デバイスの状態または前記眼球装着可能デバイスに含まれる構成要素の状態を示す情報を送信するように構成される、請求項9に記載の眼球装着可能デバイス。
- 角膜表面上に取外し可能に装着されるように構成された凹状面と、前記凹状面を前記角膜表面上に装着したときに眼瞼運動と適合性をもつように構成された凸状面とを有する透明材料を含む眼球装着可能デバイスを、前記眼球装着可能デバイスが瞳孔の上を覆うように前記角膜表面上に装着すること、
前記眼球装着可能デバイスに含まれる光源によって放射された光を変調することであって、前記光源が、前記透明材料に少なくとも部分的に埋め込まれた基板上に配設されること、および、
変調後の光が前記瞳孔を通して見えるように、前記角膜表面上に装着された前記眼球装着可能デバイスの前記凹状面を通して前記変調後の光を放射すること
を含む、方法。 - 前記透明材料に少なくとも部分的に埋め込まれた光学素子によって、前記凹状面を通して放射された前記変調後の光を集束することをさらに含む、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記変調後の光がメッセージを示す、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記基板上に配設されたアンテナを介して情報を受信することをさらに含み、前記メッセージが前記受信した情報に関連する、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記基板上に配設されたセンサによって読取り値を取得することをさらに含み、前記メッセージが読取り値を示す、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 方法であって、計算デバイスによって眼球装着可能デバイスにデータを送信することを含み、
前記眼球装着可能デバイスが、凹状面および凸状面を有する透明材料と、前記透明材料に少なくとも部分的に埋め込まれた基板とを含み、前記凹状面が、瞳孔の上を覆う角膜表面上に取外し可能に装着されるように構成され、前記凸状面が、前記凹状面を前記角膜表面上に装着したときに眼瞼運動と適合性をもつように構成され、
前記眼球装着可能デバイスが、前記基板上に配設されるとともに、前記凹状面を前記角膜表面上に装着したときに前記瞳孔を通して見える光を放射するように構成された光源を含み、
前記眼球装着可能デバイスが、前記基板上に配設されるとともに前記光源を制御するように構成された回路を含み、
前記方法が、前記データに基づいて前記回路に前記光源によって放射された前記光を変調させて、変調後の光を提供するように構成された命令を、前記計算デバイスによって前記眼球装着可能デバイスに送信することを含む、方法。 - 前記変調後の光がメッセージを示す、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記計算デバイスが、無線周波数(RF)信号を使用して前記データおよび前記命令を送信するように構成され、前記眼球装着可能デバイスが、前記基板上に配設されるとともに前記RF信号を受信するように構成されたアンテナを含む、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記機能が、前記計算デバイスによって、前記データまたは命令の少なくとも一方に関連する応答を、前記眼球装着可能デバイスから受け取ることをさらに含む、請求項17に記載の方法。
