Claims (19)
- 移植材料を空洞に供給する方法であって、
移植材料を供給装置のチューブの内部に配置するステップであって、前記チューブは、開放端と、長手方向に沿った屈曲部とを有するステップと、
前記移植材料を前記開放端から分注するために、前記チューブの内部のプランジャを前進させるステップと
を備える方法。 - 前記プランジャは、管腔内で前記屈曲部に沿って移動するように、前記プランジャに可撓性を与える切り込みを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記切り込みの形状は、螺旋状切り込み、二重螺旋状切り込み、及び鳩尾状切り込みのうちの一つである、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記プランジャはシリコン製の遠位先端を有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記移植材料は少なくとも骨及び組織の一方を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記プランジャはステンレス鋼製である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記プランジャはポリエーテル・エーテル・ケトン製である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前進させるステップは、ラチェット機構を動作させるステップを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前進させるステップは、モータを動作させるステップを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記空洞は椎間板隙である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 移植材料を目標部位に供給するための供給装置であって、
アクチュエータ機構を保持するハンドピースと、
管腔と、開放端と、前記ハンドピースに接続される接続機構とを有するチューブと、
前記チューブの前記管腔内に配置され、前記アクチュエータ機構に結合されるプランジャであって、前記アクチュエータ機構が前記管腔内で前記プランジャを装填位置から延長位置へと、前記開放端に対して相対的に移動させるように構成されるプランジャと
を備える供給装置。 - 前記チューブはその長手方向に沿った屈曲部を有する、請求項11に記載の装置。
- 前記プランジャは、前記アクチュエータが前記プランジャを前記装填位置から前記延長位置へと移動させるときに前記プランジャが前記管腔内で前記屈曲部に沿って移動するように、前記プランジャに可撓性を与える切り込みを含む、請求項12に記載の装置。
- 前記切り込みの形状は、螺旋状切り込み、二重螺旋状切り込み、及び鳩尾状切り込みのうちの一つである、請求項13に記載の装置。
- 前記プランジャはシリコン製の遠位先端を有する、請求項11に記載の装置。
