- 無線通信機器であって、当該機器が、
無線通信を送信するためにアンテナアレイにより形成される複数の指向性ビームの複数の送信電力を制御するための制御装置を備え、
前記制御装置が、少なくとも第1の電力限界値及び第2の電力限界値に基づいて前記複数の送信電力を制御するためのものであり、
前記第1の電力限界値が、前記複数の指向性ビームのうちの指向性ビームの電力密度に対応する電力密度限界値を含み、
前記第2の電力限界値が、前記送信電力の合計に対応する全送信電力限界値を含む、機器。 - 前記制御装置が、前記複数の送信電力により達成可能な前記指向性ビームのスループットに基づいて前記送信電力を制御するためのものである、請求項1に記載の機器。
- 前記制御装置が、前記指向性ビームの前記スループットに対応する最大結合スループットに基づいて前記送信電力を制御するためのものである、請求項2に記載の機器。
- 前記制御装置が、前記電力密度限界値に等しいか、又は前記電力密度限界値より小さい電力密度を有する前記指向性ビームのそれぞれを生成するために、前記複数の送信電力を制御するためのものである、請求項1から請求項3のいずれか一項に記載の機器。
- 前記無線通信が、ビームフォーミングされたダイバシティ通信を含む、請求項1から請求項3のいずれか一項に記載の機器。
- 前記無線通信が、多入力多出力(MIMO)通信を含む、請求項1から請求項3のいずれか一項に記載の機器。
- 前記無線通信がマルチユーザ(MU) MIMO通信を含み、前記複数の指向性ビームが複数のユーザに向けられる、請求項8に記載の機器。
- 前記制御装置が、前記複数のユーザに対応する複数のチャネルのチャネル伝搬損失に基づいて前記複数のユーザを選択するためのものである、請求項9に記載の機器。
- 前記制御装置が、前記複数の送信電力により達成可能な前記複数のユーザに対するスループットに基づいて前記送信電力を制御するためのものである、請求項9に記載の機器。
- 前記アンテナアレイが複数のアンテナモジュールを備え、各アンテナモジュールが共通の無線周波数(RF)回路に連結された複数のアンテナ素子を含む、請求項1から請求項3のいずれか一項に記載の機器。
- 前記無線通信が、ミリメートル波(ミリ波)周波数帯域を介した通信を含む、請求項1から請求項3のいずれか一項に記載の機器。
- 無線通信システムであって、当該システムが、
請求項1から請求項3のいずれか一項に記載の機器を含む無線通信装置を備え、前記無線通信装置が、

前記第1の電力限界値が、前記複数の指向性ビームのうちの指向性ビームの電力密度に対応する電力密度限界値を含み、
前記第2の電力限界値が、前記送信電力の合計に対応する全送信電力限界値を含む、方法。 - 前記複数の送信電力により達成可能な前記指向性ビームのスループットに基づいて前記送信電力を制御するステップを含む、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記無線通信がマルチユーザ(MU) 多入力多出力(MIMO)通信を含み、前記複数の指向性ビームが複数のユーザに向けられる、請求項15に記載の方法。
