複数のステープルキャビティを含むカートリッジ本体と、
前記ステープルキャビティ内に配置された複数のステープルと、
前記カートリッジ本体に対して配置された層と、
カバー部及び少なくとも1つの取付部を含む保持具と、を含み、前記取付部が、前記カートリッジ本体と解放可能に係合され、前記層が、前記カートリッジ本体と前記カバー部との中間に配置され、前記少なくとも1つの取付部が、前記ステープルカートリッジが該ステープルカートリッジチャネルにより受容されるとき、該エンドエフェクタによりずらされるように構成され、前記取付部が前記カートリッジ本体から係合解除されるようになっている、ステープルカートリッジ。
(2) 前記層が、組織厚さコンペンセータを含む、実施態様1に記載のステープルカートリッジ。
(3) 前記複数のステープルのそれぞれが、基部と脚部を含み、前記脚部が、先端を含み、前記先端が、前記カートリッジ本体から延びる、実施態様1に記載のステープルカートリッジ。
(4) 前記先端が、前記層内に延びる、実施態様3に記載のステープルカートリッジ。
(5) 前記カートリッジ本体が、隆起部を含み、前記保持具の前記少なくとも1つの取付部が、前記カバー部から延び、前記隆起部と解放可能に係合するタブを含み、前記タブが、前記ステープルカートリッジが前記エンドエフェクタの前記ステープルカートリッジチャネルにより受容されるときに前記エンドエフェクタと係合するように構成された表面を含み、前記エンドエフェクタにより前記タブがずらされ、前記タブが前記隆起部から係合解除されるようになっている、実施態様1に記載のステープルカートリッジ。
(7) 前記保持具の前記カバー部が、平面を画定し、前記少なくとも1つのタブが、前記カバー部から前記平面内に延びる、実施態様5に記載のステープルカートリッジ。
(8) 前記カートリッジ本体が、スロットを含み、前記保持具の前記カバー部が、平面を画定し、前記少なくとも1つの取付部が、第1取付部を含み、該第1取付部が、
前記カバー部から延びる第1ずらし可能部材であって、前記第1ずらし可能部材が、前記カバー部の前記平面内において、前記カバー部に対してずらし可能である、第1ずらし可能部材と、
前記第1ずらし可能部材から延び、前記カートリッジ本体の前記スロットと解放可能に係合される第1タブと、を含み、
前記第1ずらし可能部材が、前記ステープルカートリッジが前記エンドエフェクタの前記ステープルカートリッジチャネルにより受容されるときに前記エンドエフェクタと係合するように構成された表面を含み、前記エンドエフェクタにより前記第1部材及び前記第1タブがずらされ、前記第1タブが前記スロットから係合解除されるようになっている、実施態様1に記載のステープルカートリッジ。
(9) 第2取付部を更に含み、該第2取付部が、
前記カバー部から延びる第2ずらし可能部材であって、前記第2ずらし可能部材が、前記カバー部の前記平面内において、前記カバー部に対してずらし可能である、第2ずらし可能部材と、
前記第2ずらし可能部材から延び、前記カートリッジ本体の前記スロットと解放可能に係合される第2タブと、を含み、
前記第2ずらし可能部材が、前記ステープルカートリッジが前記エンドエフェクタの前記ステープルカートリッジチャネルにより受容されるときに前記エンドエフェクタと係合するように構成された表面を含み、前記エンドエフェクタにより前記第2ずらし可能部材及び前記第2タブがずらされ、前記第2タブが前記スロットから係合解除されるようになっている、実施態様8に記載のステープルカートリッジ。
(10) 前記第1取付部及び前記第2取付部が、互いに向かってずらし可能である、実施態様9に記載のステープルカートリッジ。
(12) 前記カートリッジ本体が、第1隆起部を含み、前記保持具が、第3取付部を更に含み、該第3取付部が、前記カバー部から延び、前記第1隆起部と解放可能に係合する第3タブを含み、前記第3タブが、前記ステープルカートリッジが前記エンドエフェクタの前記ステープルカートリッジチャネルにより受容されるときに前記エンドエフェクタと係合するように構成された表面を含み、前記エンドエフェクタにより前記第3タブがずらされ、前記第3タブが前記第1隆起部から係合解除されるようになっている、実施態様9に記載のステープルカートリッジ。
(13) 前記第3タブが、前記カバー部から前記カバー部の前記平面の外に延びる、実施態様12に記載のステープルカートリッジ。
(14) 前記カートリッジ本体が、第2隆起部を含み、前記保持具が、前記カバー部から延び、前記第2隆起部と解放可能に係合する第4タブを更に含み、前記第4タブが、前記ステープルカートリッジが前記エンドエフェクタの前記ステープルカートリッジチャネルにより受容されるときに前記エンドエフェクタと係合するように構成された表面を含み、前記エンドエフェクタにより前記第4タブがずらされ、前記第4タブが前記第2隆起部から係合解除されるようになっている、実施態様12に記載のステープルカートリッジ。
(15) 前記第1隆起部が、前記カートリッジ本体の第1側面にあり、前記第2隆起部が、前記第1側面の反対側の、前記カートリッジ本体の第2側面にある、実施態様14に記載のステープルカートリッジ。
複数のステープルキャビティを含むカートリッジ本体と、
前記ステープルキャビティ内に配置された複数のステープルと、
前記カートリッジ本体に対して配置された層と、
保持具と、を含み、前記層が、前記カートリッジ本体と前記保持具との中間に配置され、前記保持具が、前記保持具を前記カートリッジ本体に解放可能に取り付けるための解放可能な取付手段を含み、前記ステープルカートリッジが該エンドエフェクタの該ステープルカートリッジチャネルにより受容されるときに、前記保持具が前記カートリッジ本体から解放されるようになっている、ステープルカートリッジ。
(17) 外科用ステープル留め器具と共に使用するためのステープルカートリッジであって、前記ステープルカートリッジが、
デッキ及び前記デッキ内に画定された複数のステープルキャビティを含むカートリッジ本体と、
前記カートリッジ本体内に少なくとも部分的に配置された複数のステープルと、
前記デッキの上に配置された層であって、前記ステープルが、前記ステープルが未発射位置と発射済み位置との間を移動する際に、前記層の一部を少なくとも部分的に捕捉するように構成される、層と、
前記層の少なくとも一部の上に延びるカバーと、を含み、前記カバーが、前記カートリッジ本体に着脱可能にロックされ、前記カバーが、取付アンロック手段を含み、前記取付アンロック手段が、前記ステープルカートリッジが該外科用ステープル留め器具に取り付けられるときに前記カバーをアンロックすることによって、その後、前記カバーが前記カートリッジ本体から取り外され得るようにする、ステープルカートリッジ。
(18) 前記外科用ステープル留め器具が、前記ステープルカートリッジを受容するように構成されたチャネルを含み、前記取付アンロック手段が、前記ステープルカートリッジが前記チャネル内に挿入されるときに前記チャネルと係合し、前記カバーをアンロックするように構成される、実施態様17に記載のステープルカートリッジ。
(19) 外科用ステープル留め器具と共に使用するためのステープルカートリッジであって、前記ステープルカートリッジが、
デッキ及び前記デッキ内に画定された複数のステープルキャビティを含むカートリッジ本体と、
前記カートリッジ本体内に少なくとも部分的に配置された複数のステープルと、
前記デッキの上に配置された層であって、前記ステープルが、前記ステープルが未発射位置と発射済み位置との間を移動する際に、該ステープルの内側に、前記層の一部を少なくとも部分的に捕捉するように構成される、層と、
前記カートリッジ本体に着脱可能にロックされたカバーであって、前記カバーが、
前記層の第1の側を少なくとも部分的に覆う第1横方向部分と、
前記第1横方向部分から延びる第1ロックと、
前記層の第2の側を少なくとも部分的に覆う第2横方向部分と、
前記第2横方向部分から延びる第2ロックと、を含む、カバーと、を含み、前記第1ロック及び前記第2ロックが、前記ステープルカートリッジが該外科用ステープル留め器具内に挿入されるとき、該外科用ステープル留め器具により内向きに押し込まれて、前記カバーを前記カートリッジ本体からアンロックするように構成される、ステープルカートリッジ。
(20) 外科用ステープル留め器具と共に使用するためのステープルカートリッジであって、前記ステープルカートリッジが、
カートリッジ本体であって、
デッキと、
前記デッキ内に画定された複数のステープルキャビティと、
基準面と、を含む、カートリッジ本体と、
前記カートリッジ本体内に少なくとも部分的に配置された複数のステープルと、
前記デッキの上に配置された層であって、前記ステープルが、前記ステープルが未発射位置と発射済み位置との間を移動する際に、前記層の一部を少なくとも部分的に捕捉するように構成される、層と、
前記層の少なくとも一部の上に延びるカバーと、を含み、前記カバーが、取付ロックにより、前記カートリッジ本体に着脱可能にロックされ、前記取付ロックが、前記基準面から所定の距離に配置され、前記取付ロックが、該ステープルカートリッジが該外科用ステープル留め器具内に適切に配置されたとき、該外科用ステープル留め器具に画定されたキーと係合するように構成される、ステープルカートリッジ。
Claims (20)
- 外科用ステープル留め器具のエンドエフェクタと共に使用するためのステープルカートリッジであって、該エンドエフェクタが、前記ステープルカートリッジを受容するように構成されたステープルカートリッジチャネルを含み、前記ステープルカートリッジが、
複数のステープルキャビティを含むカートリッジ本体と、
前記ステープルキャビティ内に配置された複数のステープルと、
前記カートリッジ本体に対して配置された層と、
カバー部及び少なくとも1つの取付部を含む保持具と、を含み、前記取付部が、前記カートリッジ本体と解放可能に係合され、前記層が、前記カートリッジ本体と前記カバー部との中間に配置され、前記少なくとも1つの取付部が、前記ステープルカートリッジが該ステープルカートリッジチャネルにより受容されるとき、該エンドエフェクタによりずらされるように構成され、前記取付部が前記カートリッジ本体から係合解除されるようになっている、ステープルカートリッジ。 - 前記層が、組織厚さコンペンセータを含む、請求項1に記載のステープルカートリッジ。
- 前記複数のステープルのそれぞれが、基部と脚部を含み、前記脚部が、先端を含み、前記先端が、前記カートリッジ本体から延びる、請求項1に記載のステープルカートリッジ。
- 前記先端が、前記層内に延びる、請求項3に記載のステープルカートリッジ。
- 前記カートリッジ本体が、隆起部を含み、前記保持具の前記少なくとも1つの取付部が、前記カバー部から延び、前記隆起部と解放可能に係合するタブを含み、前記タブが、前記ステープルカートリッジが前記エンドエフェクタの前記ステープルカートリッジチャネルにより受容されるときに前記エンドエフェクタと係合するように構成された表面を含み、前記エンドエフェクタにより前記タブがずらされ、前記タブが前記隆起部から係合解除されるようになっている、請求項1に記載のステープルカートリッジ。
- 前記保持具の前記カバー部が、平面を画定し、前記少なくとも1つのタブが、前記カバー部から前記平面の外に延びる、請求項5に記載のステープルカートリッジ。
- 前記保持具の前記カバー部が、平面を画定し、前記少なくとも1つのタブが、前記カバー部から前記平面内に延びる、請求項5に記載のステープルカートリッジ。
- 前記カートリッジ本体が、スロットを含み、前記保持具の前記カバー部が、平面を画定し、前記少なくとも1つの取付部が、第1取付部を含み、該第1取付部が、
前記カバー部から延びる第1ずらし可能部材であって、前記第1ずらし可能部材が、前記カバー部の前記平面内において、前記カバー部に対してずらし可能である、第1ずらし可能部材と、
前記第1ずらし可能部材から延び、前記カートリッジ本体の前記スロットと解放可能に係合される第1タブと、を含み、
前記第1ずらし可能部材が、前記ステープルカートリッジが前記エンドエフェクタの前記ステープルカートリッジチャネルにより受容されるときに前記エンドエフェクタと係合するように構成された表面を含み、前記エンドエフェクタにより前記第1部材及び前記第1タブがずらされ、前記第1タブが前記スロットから係合解除されるようになっている、請求項1に記載のステープルカートリッジ。 - 第2取付部を更に含み、該第2取付部が、
前記カバー部から延びる第2ずらし可能部材であって、前記第2ずらし可能部材が、前記カバー部の前記平面内において、前記カバー部に対してずらし可能である、第2ずらし可能部材と、
前記第2ずらし可能部材から延び、前記カートリッジ本体の前記スロットと解放可能に係合される第2タブと、を含み、
前記第2ずらし可能部材が、前記ステープルカートリッジが前記エンドエフェクタの前記ステープルカートリッジチャネルにより受容されるときに前記エンドエフェクタと係合するように構成された表面を含み、前記エンドエフェクタにより前記第2ずらし可能部材及び前記第2タブがずらされ、前記第2タブが前記スロットから係合解除されるようになっている、請求項8に記載のステープルカートリッジ。 - 前記第1取付部及び前記第2取付部が、互いに向かってずらし可能である、請求項9に記載のステープルカートリッジ。
- 前記カバー部が、第1ネック部を含み、前記第1取付部が該第1ネック部から延び、前記カバー部が、第2ネック部を含み、前記第2取付部が該第2ネック部から延び、前記第1及び第2ネック部が、前記第1取付部及び前記第2取付部をずれていない位置に付勢する弾性材料を含む、請求項9に記載のステープルカートリッジ。
- 前記カートリッジ本体が、第1隆起部を含み、前記保持具が、第3取付部を更に含み、該第3取付部が、前記カバー部から延び、前記第1隆起部と解放可能に係合する第3タブを含み、前記第3タブが、前記ステープルカートリッジが前記エンドエフェクタの前記ステープルカートリッジチャネルにより受容されるときに前記エンドエフェクタと係合するように構成された表面を含み、前記エンドエフェクタにより前記第3タブがずらされ、前記第3タブが前記第1隆起部から係合解除されるようになっている、請求項9に記載のステープルカートリッジ。
- 前記第3タブが、前記カバー部から前記カバー部の前記平面の外に延びる、請求項12に記載のステープルカートリッジ。
- 前記カートリッジ本体が、第2隆起部を含み、前記保持具が、前記カバー部から延び、前記第2隆起部と解放可能に係合する第4タブを更に含み、前記第4タブが、前記ステープルカートリッジが前記エンドエフェクタの前記ステープルカートリッジチャネルにより受容されるときに前記エンドエフェクタと係合するように構成された表面を含み、前記エンドエフェクタにより前記第4タブがずらされ、前記第4タブが前記第2隆起部から係合解除されるようになっている、請求項12に記載のステープルカートリッジ。
- 前記第1隆起部が、前記カートリッジ本体の第1側面にあり、前記第2隆起部が、前記第1側面の反対側の、前記カートリッジ本体の第2側面にある、請求項14に記載のステープルカートリッジ。

前記カートリッジ本体内に少なくとも部分的に配置された複数のステープルと、
前記デッキの上に配置された層であって、前記ステープルが、前記ステープルが未発射位置と発射済み位置との間を移動する際に、前記層の一部を少なくとも部分的に捕捉するように構成される、層と、

前記層の第1の側を少なくとも部分的に覆う第1横方向部分と、
前記第1横方向部分から延びる第1ロックと、
前記層の第2の側を少なくとも部分的に覆う第2横方向部分と、
前記第2横方向部分から延びる第2ロックと、を含む、カバーと、を含み、前記第1ロック及び前記第2ロックが、前記ステープルカートリッジが該外科用ステープル留め器具内に挿入されるとき、該外科用ステープル留め器具により内向きに押し込まれて、前記カバーを前記カートリッジ本体からアンロックするように構成される、ステープルカートリッジ。 - 外科用ステープル留め器具と共に使用するためのステープルカートリッジであって、前記ステープルカートリッジが、
