Abstract
Description
図1および3を参照して、流体ポンプアセンブリ12を説明する。流体ポンプアセンブリ12は、流体ポンプア20と、負荷検知コンペンセータバルブセンブリ22とを含んでいる。
図1および図2を参照すると、アクチュエータアセンブリ14は、アクチュエータ60と、方向制御バルブ62および2つのパイロットバルブ63a、63bを有する制御バルブアセンブリ61とを含んでいる。アクチュエータ60は、リニアアクチュエータ(たとえばシリンダなど)やロータリアクチュエータ(たとえばモータなど)とすることができる。本実施の形態において、アクチュエータ60は、リニアアクチュエータである。
図1を参照して、フロー制御バルブアセンブリ16を説明する。フロー制御バルブアセンブリ16は、シャフト34によって要求される入力トルクを順に制御して、必要に応じてポンプ20の排出を制御するよう構成されている。ポンプ20の駆動に必要とされるトルクを制御することによって、エンジンや、電動モータなどの他の原動機のピークまたは最適トルクで運転して、ポンプ20の出力圧力に関わらず失速するのを防止するよう、ポンプの出力フローを調整することができる。図に示したように、フロー制御バルブアセンブリ16は、第1バルブアセンブリ110、オリフィス112、および第2バルブアセンブリ111を含んでいる。実施の一形態において、オリフィス112は、負荷検知系で一時的な圧力降下(a false pressure drop)を生じさせるよう構成されており、毎分約7.571リットル(約2ガロン)の割合で流れる流体に約2.069MPa(約300psi)の圧力降下を生じさせることができる。オリフィス112の圧力降下は、オリフィス112を通るフローが増えるとポンプが自然にフローを減らすように、マージン圧とポンプ圧力が釣り合うよう形成することができる。
ここで、図1−4を参照してポンプ制御アセンブリの運転方法1000を詳細に説明する。図に表した形態は特定の順序のステップを示したものではあるが、この説明される手順は、示された順序で行うことに限定する必要はない。寧ろ、少なくとも示したステップの幾つかは、重なるように、異なる順でおよび/または同時に行うことができる。
Claims (10)
- (a) i.流体出口と、流体リザーバと流体連通している流体入口とを有しており、可変容量機構を含む流体ポンプと、
ii.第1端部とその反対側に配置された第2端部とを有し、可変容量機構の位置を調整する負荷検知バルブと
を含む流体ポンプアセンブリと、
(b)流体ポンプアセンブリと流体連通しているアクチュエータと、
(c)負荷検知バルブの第1端部と流体ポンプとの間に配置され、
i.オリフィス、第1バルブアセンブリ、および第2バルブアセンブリを含んでおり、
ii.第1バルブアセンブリが開位置で第2バルブアセンブリが第1位置にある場合に、オリフィスを通過する流体の一部分をリザーバに向かわせるとともに、オリフィスを通過する流体の他の部分を負荷検知バルブの第1端部に向かわせ、
iii.第1バルブアセンブリが閉位置で第2バルブアセンブリが第2位置にある場合に、オリフィスを通過する全ての流体を負荷検知バルブの第1端部に向かわせる
フロー制御アセンブリと、
(d)第1および第2バルブアセンブリと電気的に接続しており、流体ポンプに動力を供給する原動機の運転パラメータに応答して第1および第2バルブアセンブリに出力電流を送る電子制御ユニットと
を備えたポンプ制御アセンブリ。 - 第1バルブアセンブリは、比例ソレノイドを含む請求項1に記載のポンプ制御アセンブリ。
- 原動機は、車両のエンジンである請求項1に記載のポンプ制御アセンブリ。
- 原動機の運転パラメータは、エンジンの最低回転速度しきい値である請求項3に記載のポンプ制御アセンブリ。
- 電子制御ユニットは、原動機の回転が運転パラメータを下回ることがないよう第1バルブアセンブリの位置を調整する請求項3に記載のポンプ制御アセンブリ。
- (a)ポンプ制御アセンブリを通常の運転状態に設定し、
(b)ポンプ制御アセンブリと関連するアクチュエータを作動させる命令を受け取り、
(c)アクチュエータを起動させる信号を制御バルブに送り、
(d)システムのポンプからオリフィスを通る流体を、ポンプフロー出力を調整するよう構成された負荷検知バルブへ送り込むようにフロー制御アセンブリに命令し、
(e)システムの命令を受け取って、システムのポンプに動力を供給している原動機の運転パラメータに基づいてポンプを通る流体の流量を減少させるかまたは管理し、
(f)フロー制御アセンブリの第1バルブを調整して、オリフィスを通る流体の少なくとも一部をリザーバに流して、ポンプの圧力を維持しつつ負荷検知バルブへの流体の流量を減少させる
ステップを備えたポンプ制御アセンブリの作動方法。 - さらに、原動機の運転パラメータを継続してモニタリングするステップを備えた請求項6に記載のポンプ制御アセンブリの作動方法。
- 原動機の運転パラメータを継続してモニタリングするステップは、車両のエンジンの回転速度をモニタリングすることを含む請求項7に記載のポンプ制御アセンブリの作動方法。
- フロー制御アセンブリの第1バルブを調整するステップは、第1バルブを調整してエンジンの回転速度が原動機の運転パラメータを下回るのを防止することを含む請求項8に記載のポンプ制御アセンブリの作動方法。
- 第1バルブ制御アセンブリを調整するステップは、エンジンの回転速度が最低回転数しきい値を下回るのを防止するよう第1バルブを調整するステップを含む請求項9に記載のポンプコントロールアセンブリの作動方法。
