Abstract
Description
(a)ガラス転移点が25℃以上のモノマーM1少なくとも2種、
(b)ガラス転移点が25℃未満のモノマーM2少なくとも2種、
並びに任意で、さらなるモノマーM3、
を含有する、保色性を改善するための被覆剤における結合剤としての水性ポリマー分散液によって解決された。
(a)ガラス転移点が25℃以上のモノマーM1少なくとも2種、
(b)ガラス転移点が25℃未満のモノマーM2少なくとも2種、
並びにさらなるモノマーM3
を含有する、ファサード塗料及びモルタルにおける保色性が明らかに改善された水性分散液である。保色性の改善は、様々な種類の有機顔料について、様々な濃度で見られた(シグナルレッド、シグナルブルー、シグナルイエロー、シグナルグリーンなど)。
ガラス転移点が25℃以上であるモノマーM1の例はビニル芳香族化合物、例えばビニルトルエン、α−メチルスチレン、パラメチルスチレン、α−ブチルスチレン、4−n−ブチルスチレンであり、好適にはスチレン、C1〜C4アルキルメタクリレート、すなわちメチルメタクリレート(MMA)、エチルメタクリレート、n−プロピルメタクリレート、i−プロピルメタクリレート、n−ブチルメタクリレート、t−ブチルアクリレート、i−ブチルメタクリレート、t−ブチルメタクリレート、t−ブチルアクリレート、シクロヘキシルメタクリレート、ステアリルアクリレート、ビニルアセテート、及び/又はエチレン系不飽和ニトリルである。ニトリルの例は、アクリロニトリルと、メタクリルニトリルである。ハロゲン化ビニルとは、塩素、フッ素、若しくは臭素で置換されたエチレン系不飽和化合物であり、好ましいのは、塩化ビニルと塩化ビニリデンである。
a)非常に軟質のエラストマー結合剤(Tgは約−24℃);
モノマーM1が17〜27%(メチルメタクリレート/スチレンに対して計算)、モノマーM2が68〜77%、モノマーM3が0.1〜10%(n−ブチルアクリレート/2−エチルヘキシルアクリレートに対して計算)、ここでモノマーM1におけるスチレンの量は、5〜15%の範囲にある。
b)軟質の自己塗膜形成性結合剤(Tgは約0℃);
モノマーM1が34〜44%(メチルメタクリレート/スチレンに対して計算)、モノマーM2が49〜59%、モノマーM3が0.1〜10%(n−ブチルアクリレート/2−エチルヘキシルアクリレートに対して計算)、ここでモノマーM1におけるスチレンの量は、10〜20%の範囲にある。
c)塗膜形成助剤を少量必要とするファサード塗料用、及びモルタル用の結合剤(Tgは約15〜20℃);
モノマーM1が37〜47%(メチルメタクリレート/スチレンに対して計算)、モノマーM2が48〜58%、モノマーM3が0.1〜10%(n−ブチルアクリレート/2−エチルヘキシルアクリレートに対して計算)、ここでモノマーM1におけるスチレンの量は、10〜25%の範囲にある。
d)塗膜形成助剤を大量に必要とするファサード塗料用、及びモルタル用の結合剤(Tgは約30〜40℃);
モノマーM1が60〜70%(メチルメタクリレート/スチレンに対して計算)、モノマーM2が24〜34%、モノマーM3が0.1〜10%(n−ブチルアクリレート/2−エチルヘキシルアクリレートに対して計算)、ここでモノマーM1におけるスチレンの量は、10〜25%の範囲にある。
・先に規定した本発明によるポリマー分散液少なくとも1種、
・任意で、無機若しくは有機の充填材少なくとも1種、及び/又は無機若しくは有機の顔料少なくとも1種、
・任意で、通常の助剤少なくとも1種、及び
・水
を含有するものである。
・本発明による例
4Lのガラス容器(アンカー型撹拌装置、加熱・冷却装置、及び様々な供給部を備えるもの)に、20〜25℃(室温)、大気圧(1気圧、絶対圧で1013bar)で、
・脱イオン水 423.0g、及び
・脂肪アルコールポリエトキシレート(BASF SE社のLutensol(登録商標) AT 18)の20質量%水溶液14.0g、
・C12アルキルスルフェートのナトリウム塩の15質量%水溶液18.7g、及び
・モノマーエマルジョン(下記参照)53.2g
を装入し、続いて撹拌しながら(140rpm)、内部温度を85℃に加熱した。この温度に達した後、開始剤溶液5質量%を部分量で添加し、得られた溶液を5分間、撹拌した。これに続いて、同時に開始してモノマーエマルジョンの全量を185分以内、開始剤溶液の残量を195分以内に連続的に、一定の流量で、空間的に隔てられた供給部によって計量供給した。
・ペルオキソ二硫酸ナトリウム 7g

・メチルメタクリレート 590.2g
・エチルヘキシルアクリレート 307.4g
・アクリル酸 14g、及び

4Lのガラス容器(アンカー型撹拌装置、加熱・冷却装置、及び様々な供給部を備えるもの)に、20〜25℃(室温)、大気圧(1気圧、絶対圧で1013bar)で、
・脱イオン水 423.0g、及び
・脂肪アルコールポリエトキシレート(BASF SE社のLutensol(登録商標) AT 18)の20質量%水溶液14.0g、
・C12アルキルスルフェートのナトリウム塩の15質量%水溶液18.7g、及び
・モノマーエマルジョン(下記参照)53.2g
を装入し、続いて撹拌しながら(140rpm)、内部温度を85℃に加熱した。この温度に達した後、開始剤溶液5質量%を部分量で添加し、得られた溶液を5分間、撹拌した。これに続いて、同時に開始してモノマーエマルジョンの全量を185分以内、開始剤溶液の残量を195分以内に連続的に、一定の流量で、空間的に隔てられた供給部によって計量供給した。

下記表1に記載した成分(量の単位はg)から、上から下に記載された順で、室温で撹拌下、ディスク型撹拌機で1000回転/分で着色調製物を、水性の例示的なポリマー分散液をベースにして製造した。

上記着色調製物を、塗料用ローラーで大きさ20×30cmの繊維強化セメント板に塗布し、単位面積当たりの質量(湿潤状態)はそれぞれ、300g/m2であった。続いて、得られた被覆を7日間、温度調整装置内で、相対湿度50%で23℃で乾燥させた。
繊維強化セメント板における塗料の耐候安定性を人工的に試験するために、塗料用のDIN EN ISO 11341 (Cycle A)によるキセノン試験を行い、500時間後(又は太陽光装置の場合は150時間後)に取り外す。このキセノン試験では、被覆された繊維強化セメント板(大きさ5×13cm)をそれぞれ交互に、102分間、乾燥状態で照射する一方、プレートを微細な霧状の水で湿らせながら、18分間、照射する。相対湿度は50%に調整し、ブラック標準温度は、65℃である。照射強度は、300〜400nmの波長で60Wの紫外光に相当するか、又は340nmの波長で0.51W(m2×nm)に相当する。繊維強化セメント板上の被覆については屋外被曝も、人工環境での耐候性と並行
して行った。この際、被覆された繊維強化セメント板は、鉛直に対する傾きが60°であった(0°が直角を表し、90°が地平線に対して水平を意味する)。全体的に、被覆は南西方向に向けた。所定の時間後、被覆を人工環境での耐候性と同じ方法に従って塗料試験装置により測定し、塗料の偏差ΔEを、耐候試験を行っていない参照用塗料と比較、評価した。
Claims (17)
- 保色性を改善するための被覆剤における結合剤としての水性ポリマー分散液であって、
(a)ガラス転移点が25℃以上のモノマーM1少なくとも2種、及び
(b)ガラス転移点が25℃未満のモノマーM2少なくとも2種、並びに、
任意で、さらなるモノマーM3
を含有する、前記水性ポリマー分散液。 - (a)ガラス転移点が25℃以上のモノマーM1少なくとも2種、及び
(b)ガラス転移点が25℃未満のモノマーM2少なくとも2種、並びに、
任意で、さらなるモノマーM3
を含有する水性ポリマー分散液の使用であって、保色性を改善するための被覆剤における結合剤としての、前記使用。 - 前記被覆剤が、ファサード塗料であることを特徴とする、請求項に2に記載の水性ポリマー分散液の使用。
- 前記モノマーM1及びM2においてそれぞれ、より親水性のモノマーと、より疎水性のモノマーを使用することを特徴とする、請求項2又は3に記載の水性ポリマー分散液の使用。
- 前記モノマーM1が、ビニル芳香族化合物、例えばビニルトルエン、α−メチルスチレン、パラメチルスチレン、α−ブチルスチレン、4−n−ブチルスチレン、C1〜C4アルキルメタクリレート、例えばメチルメタクリレート(MMA)、エチルメタクリレート、n−プロピルメタクリレート、i−プロピルメタクリレート、n−ブチルメタクリレート、t−ブチルアクリレート、i−ブチルメタクリレート、t−ブチルメタクリレート、t−ブチルアクリレート、シクロヘキシルメタクリレート、ステアリルアクリレート、ビニルアセテート、塩化ビニル、エチレン系不飽和ニトリル、ハロゲン化ビニル、ビニルエーテル、例えばビニルメチルエーテル、若しくはビニルイソブチルエーテル、又は炭素原子を4〜8個及びオレフィン二重結合を2つ有する炭化水素の群から選択されていることを特徴とする、請求項2から4までのいずれか1項に記載の水性ポリマー分散液の使用。
- 前記モノマーM1が、スチレン/メチルメタクリレート、又はシクロヘキシルメタクリレート/メチルメタクリレートから選択されていることを特徴とする、請求項2から5までのいずれか1項に記載の水性ポリマー分散液の使用。
- 前記モノマーM2が、C1〜C20アルキルアクリレート、例えばメチルアクリレート、エチルアクリレート、n−プロピルアクリレート、i−プロピルアクリレート、n−ブチルアクリレート、i−ブチルアクリレート、s−ブチルアクリレート、n−ペンチルアクリレート、i−ペンチルアクリレート、n−ヘキシルアクリレート、2−エチルヘキシルアクリレート、ヘプチルアクリレート、オクチルアクリレート、C10イソアミルゲルベアクリレート、2−プロピルペンチルアクリレート、1−プロピルヘプチルアクリレート、ラウリルアクリレート、C5〜C20アルキルメタクリレート、例えばn−ペンチルメタクリレート、イソペンチルメタクリレート、n−ヘキシルメタクリレート、ヘプチルメタクリレート、オクチルメタクリレート、C10イソアミルゲルベメタクリレート、2−プロピルペンチルアクリレート、2−プロピルヘプチルメタクリレート、ラウリルメタクリレート、炭素原子数が2〜11の非分枝状若しくは分枝鎖状カルボン酸のビニルエステル、例えばビニルプロピオネート、ビニルブチレート、1−メチルビニルアセテート、ビニルピバレート、及び炭素原子数が9であるα−分枝鎖状モノカルボン酸のビニルエステル(Shell社の市販名:VeoVa9R)、例えばビニル−2−エチルヘキサノエート、ビニルラウレート、炭素原子数が10又は11であるα−分枝鎖状モノカルボン酸のビニルエステル(Shell社の市販名:VeoVa10R、VeoVa11R)、及び炭素原子数が10〜13の分枝鎖状モノカルボン酸のビニルエステル(Exxar Neo12)、C1〜C20ビニルエーテル、例えばメチルビニルエーテル、エチルビニルエーテル、プロピルビニルエーテル、ブチルビニルエーテル、ペンチルビニルエーテル、ヘキシルビニルエーテル、ヘプチルビニルエーテル、オクチルビニルエーテル、ノニルビニルエーテル、デシルビニルエーテル、ブタジエン、塩化ビニリデン、又はブタンジオールモノアクリレートの群から選択されていることを特徴とする、請求項2から6までのいずれか1項に記載の水性ポリマー分散液の使用。
- 前記モノマーM2が、n−ブチルアクリレート/エチルヘキシルアクリレートの群から選択されていることを特徴とする、請求項2から7までのいずれか1項に記載の水性ポリマー分散液の使用。
- 前記モノマーM3が、アクリル酸、メタクリル酸、アクリルアミド、ヒドロキシエチル(メタ)アクリレート、又はヒドロキシプロピル(メタ)アクリレートの群から選択されていることを特徴とする、請求項2から8までのいずれか1項に記載の水性ポリマー分散液の使用。
- 前記結合剤が、前記モノマーM1を17〜27%(メチルメタクリレート/スチレンに対して計算して)、前記モノマーM2を68〜77%、及び前記モノマーM3を0.1〜10%(n−ブチルアクリレート/2−エチルヘキシルアクリレートに対して計算して)含有し、ここでモノマーM1におけるスチレンの量は、5〜15%の範囲にあることを特徴とする、請求項2から9までのいずれか1項に記載の水性ポリマー分散液の使用。
- 前記結合剤が、前記モノマーM1を34〜44%(メチルメタクリレート/スチレンに対して計算して)、前記モノマーM2を49〜59%、及び前記モノマーM3を0.1〜10%(n−ブチルアクリレート/2−エチルヘキシルアクリレートに対して計算して)含有し、ここで前記モノマーM1におけるスチレンの量は、10〜20%の範囲にあることを特徴とする、請求項2から9までのいずれか1項に記載の水性ポリマー分散液の使用。
- 前記結合剤が、前記モノマーM1を37〜47%(メチルメタクリレート/スチレンに対して計算して)、前記モノマーM2を48〜58%、及び前記モノマーM3を0.1〜10%(n−ブチルアクリレート/2−エチルヘキシルアクリレートに対して計算して)含有し、ここで前記モノマーM1におけるスチレンの量は、10〜25%の範囲にあることを特徴とする、請求項2から9までのいずれか1項に記載の水性ポリマー分散液の使用。
- 前記結合剤が、前記モノマーM1を60〜70%(メチルメタクリレート/スチレンに対して計算して)、前記モノマーM2を24〜34%、及び前記モノマーM3を0.1〜10%(n−ブチルアクリレート/2−エチルヘキシルアクリレートに対して計算して)含有し、ここで前記モノマーM1におけるスチレンの量は、10〜25%の範囲にあることを特徴とする、請求項2から9までのいずれか1項に記載の水性ポリマー分散液の使用。
- ・請求項2から13までのいずれか1項に記載の水性ポリマー分散液少なくとも1種、並びに
・慣用の助剤、例えば塗膜形成助剤、保存料、紫外線保護剤、及び任意で水
を含有する、被覆剤組成物。 - ・請求項2から13までのいずれか1項に記載の水性ポリマー分散液少なくとも1種、
・任意で、有機若しくは無機の充填材少なくとも1種、及び/又は有機若しくは無機の顔料少なくとも1種、
・任意で、通常の助剤少なくとも1種、及び
・水
を含有する、被覆剤組成物。 - ファサード塗料であることを特徴とする、請求項15に記載の被覆剤組成物。
- 主表面を有する建材基材を備える、被覆された表面であって、前記主表面の少なくとも一部の領域が、保色性最終上塗り被覆剤組成物としての請求項2から13までのいずれか1項に記載の水性ポリマー分散液によって被覆されている、前記被覆された表面。
