In the present embodiment, a laminated material is used as the material of the vertically divided half columnar body 311. Needless to say, the material of the vertically divided half-column body 311 is not particularly limited as long as it is a wood-based material such as a wood-made material or a wood-like material (including artificial wood), and any material can be used. be able to. In addition to the laminated material, for example, a laminated material, a solid material, or the like can also be suitably used. However, it is more preferable to use a laminated material as in this embodiment in consideration of texture, design, economy, and the like.

In addition, the material of the vertically divided half pillars 411 and 511 of the intermediate master pillar 4 and the start handrail 5 described below is the same as the material of the vertically divided half pillars 3 of the start master pillar 3. be able to.

The upper core member 32 has a strip shape, and can be slidably installed in the upper groove 312 of the vertically split half-column body 311 along the axial direction (vertical direction). The upper core member 32 is sandwiched between the pair of vertically split half pillar bodies 311 and 311 so as to be installed in the upper grooves 312 and 312 of the pair of vertically split half pillar bodies 311 and 311. In the upper part of the column main body 31 constituted by the vertically divided half columnar bodies 311 and 311, it is arranged along the axis.

Furthermore, three screw holes 321 (see FIG. 3) are formed at predetermined intervals in the length direction on the lower side portion of the upper core member 32, and a vertically split half columnar body is formed by inserting a screw 35 into each screw hole 321. By screwing into 311, the upper core member 32 can be fixed to the vertically divided half columnar body 311. In the present embodiment, the upper core member 32 is fixed to the rear half-column body 311 among the pair of half-column bodies 311, 311.

Thus, the upper core member 32 is configured to be slidable in the vertical direction with respect to the vertically divided half-column body 311 (column body 31) and to be fixed at an arbitrary slide position.

As shown in FIG. 3, the lower side portion of the mounting plate 37 having a thickness smaller than that of the upper core member 32 is fixed to the upper end of the upper core member 32. The upper portion of the mounting plate 37 is bent with respect to the lower portion so as to correspond to the assembly angle of the handrail body 2 to be attached. The mounting plate 37 is thin and has greater elasticity than the upper core member 32, and absorbs assembly errors when the upper portion of the mounting plate 37 is fixed to the handrail body 2 with screws as will be described later. Thus, it is elastically deformed so as to be fitted to the mounting surface (lower surface) of the handrail main body 2 without a gap.

Although not shown, a mounting plate similar to the mounting plate 37 of the upper core member 32 is also fixed to the upper end of the handrail main body support portion 62 of the intermediate handrail 6.

The lower core member 33 has a groove shape, and can be installed in the lower groove 313 of the vertically divided half columnar body 311. The lower core member 33 is sandwiched between the pair of vertically split half columnar bodies 311 and 311 so as to be installed in the lower grooves 313 and 313 of the pair of vertically split half columnar bodies 311 and 311, so that the lower core member 33 is It is arranged along the axis at the lower part of the column main body 31 constituted by the pair of vertically divided half columnar bodies 311, 311.

Further, screw holes 331 and 331 (see FIG. 3) are formed at two locations on the bottom wall of the lower core member 33. Screws 35 are inserted into the screw holes 331 and 331, and the vertically divided half columnar body 311 is formed. The lower core member 33 can be fixed to the vertically split half columnar body 311 by screwing into the vertical half-column body 311. In the present embodiment, the lower core member 33 is fixed to the rear half columnar body 311 of the pair of vertically divided half column bodies 311 and 311, as with the upper core member 32.

A long hole 332 (see FIG. 3) that is long in the axial direction (vertical direction) is formed in the middle portion of the bottom wall of the lower core member 33. This long hole 332 constitutes a nostril-corresponding screw hole, and is used to fix the lower core member 33 and the vertically split half columnar body 311 (column body 31) to the front end surface of the stair nosing in the staircase step plate 9 by screwing. belongs to.

A base plate 34 is fixed to the lower end of the lower core member 33. The base plate 34 is formed corresponding to the shape of the lower end surface of the column main body 31, and the base plate 34 extends along the lower end surface of the column main body 31 in a state where the lower core material 33 is incorporated in the column main body 31. The outer peripheral edge of the base plate 34 substantially coincides with the lower peripheral edge of the lower end of the column main body 33. Further, a plurality of screw holes 341 as installation surface-corresponding screw holes are formed in the front half of the base plate 34, that is, in a portion corresponding to the front half split pillar 311 of the pair of vertically split half pillars 311, 311. 3) is formed. In addition, the screw hole is not formed in the latter half part of the base board 34, ie, the part corresponding to the vertical split half pillar body 311 of the rear side.

The starting main pillar 3 having the above configuration is assembled at the lower end position of the stairs. That is, of the pair of vertically split half columnar bodies 311 and 311, it is fitted into the lower groove 313 of the rearwardly vertically split half columnar body 311, and the screws 35 are inserted into the screw holes 331 of the lower core member 33 so as to vertically split the half pillars. The body 311 is screwed and the lower core member 33 is assembled to the vertically split half columnar body 311.

Next, the base plate 34 of the lower core member 33 is installed on the downstairs floor F1, and the rear side of the vertically split half columnar body 311 is arranged along the front end surface of the first step plate 9 of the stairs. .

Subsequently, a screw 35 is inserted into the elongated hole 332 of the lower core member 33, the vertically split half-column body 311 is penetrated, and screwed to the front end surface of the step plate 9 to be fixed. Further, a screw 35 is inserted into the screw hole 341 of the base plate 34 and screwed into the downstairs floor F1 to be fixed. As a result, the rear vertically split half columnar body 311 and the lower core member 33 are fixed to the lower floor F1 and the stairs (step plates).

Next, the upper core material 32 is fitted into the upper groove 312 of the rear-side vertically split half columnar body 311 and the upper core material 32 is slid up and down to adjust the height position (projection amount). After adjusting the height of the starting main pillar 3 in this way, the screw 35 is inserted into the screw hole 321 of the upper core member 32 and screwed into the rear half-column body 311 on the rear side to be fixed. If necessary, the intermediate balustrade 6 is first assembled to the stairs, the balustrade body 2 is temporarily fixed to the balustrade 6 and the start main pillar 3 is assembled, so that the start parent The height of the column 3 can be adjusted smoothly.

Next, the front vertical half-column 3011 is fixed to the rear vertical half-column 311. That is, an adhesive is applied in each dowel hole 314 of both the vertically divided half pillar bodies 311 and 311, and one half of the dowel 36 is fitted and fixed in each dowel hole 314 of one vertically divided half pillar body 311. To do. Subsequently, the pair of vertically split half columnar bodies 311 and 311 are overlapped, and the other half of each dowel 36 is fitted into each dowel hole 314 of the vertically split half pillar body 311 on the other side and fixed. As a result, both the vertically divided half columnar bodies 311 and 311 are bonded and fixed via the dowels 36, and the core members 32 and 33 are held in a state of being sandwiched between the pair of vertically divided half columnar bodies 311 and 311. Thus, the starting main pillar 3 is assembled to the stairs.

In the present embodiment, the pair of vertically split half-columns 311 and 311 are bonded and fixed via the dowels 36. Needless to say, the fixing means is not limited in the present invention. For example, without using the dowel 36, both the vertically split half pillars 311 and 311 may be fixed with an adhesive, or may be fixed with screws, nails or the like. Further, it may be fixed by using an adhesive and a screw or the like in combination with a so-called nail.

As shown in FIGS. 5 to 7C, the start handrail 5 includes a metal frame member 50 and a wooden column main body 51.

The column main body 51 has a quadrangular prism shape formed in a substantially rectangular shape whose plan view shape is long in the left-right direction. The column main body 51 includes a pair of front and rear vertically split half columnar bodies 511 and 511 that can be divided. The opposed surfaces (inner surfaces) of the vertically divided half columnar bodies 511 and 511 are respectively formed with core material installation grooves 512 and 512 that extend in the vertical direction along the axial center and whose upper and lower ends are opened in the vertical direction, respectively. . Each of the core material installation grooves 512 and 512 has a shallow U-shaped cross section, and a belt-like hollow portion extending along the axis of the column main body 51 is formed by matching both the grooves 512 and 512. It has come to be.

Further, dowel holes 514 having a circular cross section are formed on both sides of the upper end portion and the lower end portion of the opposing surfaces (inner surfaces) of the vertically divided half columnar bodies 511 and 511, respectively.

In the present embodiment, the pair of vertically split half columnar bodies 511 and 511 are symmetrical with each other and have the same shape.

The frame member 50 includes a metal core member 52 and a metal auxiliary member 53 formed integrally with the core member 52.

The core material 52 has a strip shape, and can be installed in the core material installation groove 512 of the vertically divided half-column body 511.

An attachment plate 57 similar to the attachment plate 37 fixed to the upper end of the upper core member 32 in the starting main pillar 3 is fixed to the upper end of the core member 52.

Furthermore, a long hole 521 that is long in the axial direction (vertical direction) is formed at the lower end of the core material 52. This long hole 521 constitutes a nose-corresponding screw hole, and is used for fixing the core material 52 and the vertically split half columnar body 511 to the front end surface of the step plate 9 by using screws.

A base plate 54 is fixed to the lower end of the core material 52. The base plate 54 is formed corresponding to the shape of the lower end surface of the column main body 51, and the base plate 54 is arranged along the lower end surface of the column main body 51 when the core material 52 is incorporated in the column main body 51. Thus, the outer peripheral edge of the base plate 54 substantially coincides with the outer peripheral edge of the lower end of the column main body 51. Further, a plurality of screw holes 541 as installation surface corresponding screw holes are formed in the front half of the base plate 54, that is, in a portion corresponding to the front-side vertically split half pillar 511 among the pair of vertically split half pillars 511, 511. Has been. In addition, the screw hole is not formed in the latter half part of the base plate 54, that is, the part corresponding to the rear vertical split half columnar body 511.

The auxiliary material 53 of the frame-like material 50 has an upper end portion bent rearward, and a leading end (rear end) of the bent piece is integrally connected to an upper portion of the core material 52. Further, the lower end portion of the auxiliary material 53 is formed with a horizontal piece 530 that is bent rearward and arranged horizontally, and the front end (rear end) of the horizontal piece 530 is integrated with the front end edge of the base plate 54 of the core material 52. It is connected to. Also, a screw hole 531 is formed in the lower end horizontal piece 530 of the auxiliary material 53.

The core material 52 in the frame-shaped material 50 is sandwiched between the pair of vertically divided half columnar bodies 511 and 511 so as to be installed in the core material installation grooves 512 and 512 of the pair of vertically divided half columnar bodies 511 and 511, whereby the core material 52 is In addition to being arranged along the axis of the column main body 51 constituted by the pair of vertically divided half columnar bodies 511 and 511, the auxiliary material 53 is arranged in front of the column main body 51.

The start handrail 5 having the above-described configuration is assembled so as to be disposed at the handrail end portion in the middle of the stairs as described above. That is, the core material 52 of the frame-like material 50 is fitted into the core material installation groove 512 of the rear-side vertically divided half columnar body 511 of the pair of vertically divided half columnar bodies 511 and 511 and temporarily assembled, and the base plate of the temporary assembly product 54 is placed on the step board 9 to be installed, and the back surface of the vertically divided half columnar body 511 is brought into contact with the front end face (front end face) of the upper step board 9.

Next, a screw 55 is inserted into the elongated hole 521 of the core member 52 to penetrate the vertically split half columnar body 511 and screwed to the front end surface of the step plate 9 to be fixed. Further, screws 55 are respectively inserted into the screw holes 541 of the base plate 54 and the screw holes 531 of the horizontal piece 530 in the frame material 50 and screwed into the step plate 9 to be fixed. A decorative sheet 535 (see FIGS. 7B and 7C) for concealing the screw holes 531 and the screws 55 is attached to the upper surface of the horizontal piece 530.

Next, an adhesive is applied in the dowel holes 514 of the pair of vertically divided half columnar bodies 511 and 511, and one half of the dowel 56 is fitted into each dowel hole 514 of one vertically divided half pillar body 511. Fix it. Subsequently, the pair of vertically divided half columnar bodies 511 and 511 are overlapped, and the other half of each dowel 56 is fitted into each dowel hole 514 of the vertically divided half columnar body 511 and fixed. As a result, both the vertically divided half pillars 511 and 511 are bonded and fixed via the dowels 56, and the core material 52 is held between the pair of vertically split half pillars 511 and 511. In this way, the start balustrade 5 is assembled to the stairs.

Note that the fixing means for fixing the pair of vertically split half columnar bodies 511 and 511 to each other is not limited to the method using the dowel 56, but other than the dowel method, the vertically divided half columnar body 311 of the starting main pillar 3 is used. , 311 can be used.

As shown in FIGS. 8 to 10C, the intermediate main pillar 4 includes a wooden pillar body 41 and a metal core 42.

The column main body 41 has a quadrangular prism shape in which the shape in plan view is a square. The column main body 41 is configured by a pair of front and rear vertically split half columnar bodies 411 and 411 that can be divided. The opposed surfaces (inner surfaces) of the vertically divided half columnar bodies 411 and 411 are respectively formed with core material installation grooves 412 and 412 extending in the vertical direction along the axial center and having upper and lower ends opened upward and downward. Yes. Each core material installation groove 412, 412 has a U-shaped cross section, and by matching both grooves 412, 412, a prismatic hollow portion extending along the axis of the column body 41 is formed. It has become.

Further, dowel holes 414 having a circular cross section are formed on both sides of the upper end portion and the lower end portion of the opposing surfaces (inner surfaces) of the vertically divided half columnar bodies 411 and 411, respectively.

In the present embodiment, the pair of vertically split half columnar bodies 411 and 411 are symmetrical with each other and have the same shape.

The core material 42 has a rectangular tube shape or a prism shape, and can be installed in the core material installation groove 412 of the vertically divided half columnar body 411. Then, the core material 42 is sandwiched between the pair of vertically split half pillar bodies 411 and 411 so as to be installed in the core material installation grooves 412 and 412 of the pair of vertically split half pillar bodies 411 and 411, so that the core material 42 is paired vertically. It arrange | positions along the axial center of the column main body 41 comprised by the half columnar body 411,411.

A horizontal support plate 47 (see FIG. 10C) that supports the handrail main body 2 a of the horizontal handrail 1 a installed on the floor is fixed to the upper end of the core material 42 by screws 45.

Further, a base plate 44 is fixed to the lower end of the core material 42. The base plate 44 is formed corresponding to the shape of the lower end surface of the column main body 41, and the base plate 44 is arranged along the lower end surface of the column main body 41 when the core material 42 is incorporated in the column main body 41. Thus, the outer peripheral edge of the base plate 44 substantially coincides with the lower peripheral edge of the column main body 41. Furthermore, screw holes 441 as installation surface corresponding screw holes are formed at four corners of the base plate 44, respectively.

The intermediate main pillar 4 having the above configuration is assembled so that the upper end of the staircase is arranged as described above (see FIGS. 1 and 8). That is, the base plate 44 of the core material 42 is installed on the planned upper floor F2, and the screws 45 are inserted into the screw holes 441 of the base plate 44 and screwed into the upper floor F2.

Next, an adhesive is applied in each dowel hole 414 of the pair of vertically divided half columnar bodies 411 and 411, and one half of the dowel 46 is fitted into each dowel hole 414 of one vertically divided half columnar body 411. Fix it. Subsequently, the core material 42 is sandwiched from both sides by a pair of vertically divided half column bodies 411 and 411, and the other half of each dowel 46 fitted into the vertically divided half columnar body 411 is connected to the vertically divided half columnar body on the other side. It fits in each dowel hole 414 of 411, and fixes. As a result, both the vertically divided half columnar bodies 411 and 411 are bonded and fixed via the dowels 46, and the core material 42 is held between the pair of vertically divided half columnar bodies 411 and 411. Thus, the intermediate main pillar 4 is assembled to the stairs.

The fixing means for fixing the pair of vertically split half pillars 411 and 411 to each other is not limited to the method using the dowel 46, but other than the dowel method, the vertically split half pillar 311 of the starting main pillar 3 described above. , 311 can be used.

Thus, the support members such as the main pillars 3 and 4 and the handrails 5 and 6 are assembled on the stairs, and the handrail body 2 is assembled to these support members. That is, the handrail main body 2 is arranged so as to be bridged over the upper ends of the start main pillar 3, the start handrail 5 and the intermediate handrail 6, and the start main pillar 3, the start handrail 5 and the intermediate handrail 6. Screws 35 and 55 penetrating through mounting plates 37 and 57 provided at the upper ends of the handrails are screwed and fixed to the lower surface side of the handrail body 2. Furthermore, the upper end part (end part corresponding to the intermediate | middle main pillar 4) of the handrail main body 2 is connected and fixed to the intermediate | middle main pillar 4 by an appropriate means.

In the present embodiment, as described above, the horizontal handrail 1a is assembled on the open side surface of the upper floor F2 so as to be continuous with the handrail for stairs. The horizontal handrail 1a is erected at a predetermined position, and is erected at a predetermined interval between the intermediate main column 4a and the intermediate main column 4a, which are substantially similar in configuration to the intermediate main column 4. The intermediate balustrade 6a having substantially the same configuration as the intermediate balustrade 6 is fixed so as to be bridged over the upper ends of the intermediate main pillars 4 and 4a and the intermediate balustrade 6, and substantially. A handrail body (headwood) 2a having the same configuration as that of the handrail body 2 is provided.

As described above, according to the handrail for stairs of the present embodiment, the starting main pillar 3 is formed by sandwiching the metal core members 32 and 33 between the pair of wood-based vertical half pillars 311 and 311. The column main body 31 constituted by a pair of vertically divided half-columns 311 and 311 facing each other has a profound and high-quality appearance, and can improve aesthetics. Furthermore, since the cross section of the column main body 31 is rectangular and non-circular, the column main body 31 has a novel shape different from the general shape, can improve the design, and can further improve the aesthetic appearance.

Also in the intermediate main pillar 4 and the start balustrade 5, the pair of vertically divided half-column bodies 411 and 511 are formed to face each other to form the column main bodies 41 and 51. Can be obtained.

Further, in the present embodiment, the starting main pillar 3 fixes the metal upper core 32 fixed to the axial center position of the column main body 31 to the handrail main body 2, so that the mounting strength with respect to the handrail main body 2 is sufficient. Can be secured. Furthermore, since the metal lower core material 33 fixed to the axial center position of the column main body 31 is fixed to the installation surface such as the downstairs floor F1, the mounting strength to the installation surface can be sufficiently secured. Therefore, the handrail can be assembled in a stable state on the stairs. In particular, in the present embodiment, a long hole 332 is formed in the lower core member 33, and a screw 35 passed through the long hole 332 is passed through the vertically divided half-column body 311 and fixed to the front end surface of the step plate 9. Therefore, the attachment strength with respect to the installation surface of the starting main pillar 3 can be further improved.

Similarly, in the intermediate main pillar 4 and the start balustrade 5, the metal cores 42 and 52 fixed to the pillar main bodies 41 and 51 are attached to the installation surfaces of the handrail main body 2, the upper floor F 2, the corrugated board 9, and the like. Since it is fixed, it is possible to sufficiently secure the attachment strength to the handrail main body 2 and also to sufficiently secure the attachment strength to the installation surface, so that the handrail can be assembled in a stable state on the stairs. Furthermore, since the start handrail 5 fixes the core material 52 to the front end surface of the step plate 9 with the screws 55, the mounting strength on the installation surface can be further improved as in the case of the start main pillar 3.

Further, in the present embodiment, the starting main pillar 3 is constructed by sandwiching the core members 32 and 33 between the pair of vertically split half-column bodies 311 and 311, so that the core members 32 and 33 are accurately positioned at predetermined positions of the column body 31. It can be easily assembled, and the assembly work can be performed efficiently and easily. In particular, in the present embodiment, after fixing the vertical split half columnar body 311, the upper core material 32 and the lower core material 33 from the front side of the staircase, the vertical split half columnar body 311 of the front side is fixed from the front side of the staircase. Since it can be assembled by work (one-way work) only from the front side of the stairs, the burden on the operator can be reduced, and the assembly work can be performed more efficiently and easily.

Similarly, in the intermediate main pillar 4 and the start balustrade 5, the core members 42, 52 are assembled by sandwiching the core members 42, 52 between the pair of vertically split half-column bodies 411, 511. Therefore, the assembly work can be performed efficiently and easily. Furthermore, since the start handrail 5 can be assembled in one direction from the front side of the staircase, as with the start main pillar 3, the assembly work can be performed more efficiently and easily as described above. .

In particular, in the start master column 3 and the start balustrade 5, the screw holes 341 and 541 are formed in the front portions of the base plates 34 and 54 of the core members 32 and 52. In the state where the split half columnar bodies 311 and 511 are temporarily assembled, the screw holes 341 and 541 can be fixed to the installation surface through the screws 35 and 55. For this reason, it is possible to easily and accurately align the vertically divided half columnar bodies 311 and 511, and to perform the assembly work more efficiently.

In the starting main pillar 3 of the present embodiment, the upper core member 32 is configured to be slidable with respect to the column main body 31 (the vertically divided half pillar body 311) and can be fixed at an arbitrary sliding position. The height of the main pillar 3 can be adjusted freely. For this reason, the height of the starting main pillar 3 can be accurately set according to the height of the intermediate handrail 6, and the handrail main body 2 can be fixed to the starting main pillar 3 without difficulty.

Here, since the starting main pillar 3 is different in configuration, fixing means, fixing position, and the like from the intermediate balustrade 6 described above, the interval between adjacent intermediate balustrades 6, the starting main pillar 3 and the intermediate balustrade 3 The interval between the handrails 6 may be different. For this reason, if the length dimension (height dimension) of the starting main pillar 3 is set to be constant, it becomes difficult to make the height of the starting main pillar 3 correspond to the height of the intermediate handrail 6. This may cause a problem that the handrail body 2 cannot be reliably assembled. Therefore, in the present embodiment, as described above, by adopting a configuration in which the height of the starting main pillar 3 can be adjusted in accordance with the height of the intermediate handrail 6, the above problem can be effectively prevented, Handrail assembly work can be performed more efficiently and smoothly.

Further, in the starting main pillar 3 of the above embodiment, since the pair of vertically divided half pillars 311 and 311 are formed in the same shape, the parts can be shared and the cost can be reduced. Can do. Furthermore, since each vertically divided half-column body 311 can be used in any of the front and rear, it is possible to reliably prevent problems such as wrongly assembling the front and rear vertically divided half-column bodies and reducing the burden on the operator. As a result, the assembly workability can be further improved.

Further, since the pair of vertically split half-columns 411 and 511 are also formed in the same shape in the intermediate main pillar 4 and the start handrail 5, the cost is reduced and the assembling workability is improved as described above. Can be further improved.

In addition, in the said embodiment, although the column main body is comprised by a pair (two) vertically divided half columnar body, it is not restricted to it, In this invention, two or more which can divide | segment a column main body into the circumferential direction What is necessary is just to make it comprise with several vertically divided pillar pieces. In this case, the outer periphery of the core material is fixed in a state surrounded by a plurality of vertically divided pillar pieces.

Further, when the column body is constituted by a plurality of column pieces, each column piece does not necessarily have to be divided equally in the circumferential direction, and may be constituted by a plurality of column pieces having different circumferential lengths. good. For example, the rear half circumference of the column main body may be constituted by one half pillar body, and the front half circumference may be constituted by a plurality of column pieces divided in the circumferential direction.

Furthermore, each pillar piece does not necessarily need to be constituted by a single piece (one piece), and may be constituted by a plurality of members that can be divided in the circumferential direction and / or the axial direction.

However, in consideration of assembling workability and the like, it is preferable that the column main body is constituted by vertically divided column pieces of three or less divisions, and more preferably, as a pair of vertically divided half column bodies or the like, as in the above-described embodiment. It is good to comprise with a split pillar piece.

In the present invention, as the support member, a support member in which only the upper core material is provided in the column body and the lower core material is not provided, or a support member in which only the lower core material is provided in the column body and not provided with the upper core material is employed. Is also possible. For example, when a support member consisting only of the upper core is used, a screw inserted from the back side of the stair kick plate is screwed to the lower side of the column body, or the lower part of the column body is installed on the floor surface or the like. Fix it with screws. Furthermore, when a support member consisting only of the lower core is used, the back surface (lower surface) of the handrail body is screwed to the upper side of the column body, or the side surface of the handrail body is screwed to the upper side surface of the column body. You can do that.

Further, in the above embodiment, the start main pillar 3 is the handrail end at the lower end of the staircase, the intermediate main pillar 4 is the handrail connection at the upper end of the staircase, the start handrail 5 is the handrail end in the middle of the staircase, and the intermediate handrail. 6 are arranged in the middle part of the handrail, but in the present invention, the attachment positions (arrangement positions) of the support members such as the main pillars 3 and 4 and the handrails 5 and 6 are not particularly limited. Any position may be used.

For reference, in the support member of the handrail for stairs, if only the strength of attachment to the handrail main body or the installation surface is improved, the column main body does not need to be constituted by a plurality of divided bodies such as a plurality of vertically divided pillar pieces. For example, a hole may be formed in the column main body of the integrated body along the axial center, and a core material may be inserted into the hole and fixed. Also in this case, as in the above embodiment, the upper core material is assembled only to the upper side portion of the column main body, the lower core material is assembled only to the lower side portion of the column main body, or the upper side portion and the lower side portion of the column main body are upper side. The core material and the lower core material may be assembled, or one continuous core material may be assembled from the top to the bottom of the column main body.

As a specific configuration, “a support member for a handrail for a staircase that supports a handrail main body on an open side surface of a staircase, and a column main body that is erected on an installation surface, and is arranged along the axis of the column main body. And a base plate provided at the lower end of the core material is disposed on the upper end surface of the column body so as to be fixed to the handrail body. The supporting member of the handrail for stairs characterized by being arrange | positioned below the lower end surface of this, and being fixable to the said installation surface can be illustrated.

The support member of the handrail for stairs of this invention can be applied to an open stair that is assembled indoors such as a general house.
