Claims (20)
- 電力増幅システムであって、
電力増幅器と、
前記電力増幅器に供給電圧を与えるべく構成されたブースト変換器と、
前記電力増幅器に関連付けられたパラメータに基づいて前記供給電圧を調整するブースト変換器制御信号を前記ブースト変換器に与えるべく構成された制御システムと
を含む電力増幅システム。 - 前記パラメータは、前記電力増幅器のセンスされた条件を含む請求項1の電力増幅システム。
- 前記制御システムは、前記電力増幅器のセンスされた条件を検出するべく構成される請求項2の電力増幅システム。
- 前記制御システムは、前記電力増幅器のセンスされた条件を示す信号を受信するべく構成される請求項2の電力増幅システム。
- 前記制御システムは、前記電力増幅器のセンスされた条件に基づく信号を受信するべく構成される請求項2の電力増幅システム。
- 前記ブースト変換器制御信号は、基準電圧、デルタ信号又はイネーブル信号の少なくとも一つを含む請求項1の電力増幅システム。
- 前記ブースト変換器は、基準電圧の増加に応答して前記供給電圧を、前記供給電圧を増加させることにより調整するべく構成される請求項6の電力増幅システム。
- 前記供給電圧の増加により、前記電力増幅器のための付加的なヘッドルームが得られる請求項7の電力増幅システム。
- 前記ブースト変換器は、前記デルタ信号に応答して前記供給電圧を、前記供給電圧をプリセット量だけ増加させることにより調整するべく構成される請求項6の電力増幅システム。
- 前記制御システムはさらに、前記電力増幅器に電力増幅器制御信号を与えるべく構成される請求項1の電力増幅システム。
- 前記電力増幅器制御信号は、バイアス電圧又はイネーブル信号の少なくとも一つを含む請求項10の電力増幅システム。
- 前記パラメータは前記電力増幅器の動作モードを含み、
前記ブースト変換器制御信号は、前記動作モードをサポートする前記ブースト変換器に与えられる請求項1の電力増幅システム。 - 前記動作モードは線形性増加モードを含む請求項12の電力増幅システム。
- 前記線形性増加モードは、高電圧モード又は高出力電力モードの少なくとも一つを含む請求項13の電力増幅システム。
- 前記ブースト変換器は電池電圧により電力を受け、
前記供給電圧は前記電池電圧よりも大きい請求項1の電力増幅システム。 - 無線周波数(RF)モジュールであって、
複数のコンポーネントを受容するべく構成されたパッケージング基板と、
前記パッケージング基板に実装された電力増幅システムと
を含み、
前記電力増幅システムは、
電力増幅器と、
電力増幅器に供給電圧を与えるべく構成されたブースト変換器と
を含み、
前記電力増幅システムはさらに、前記電力増幅器に関連付けられたパラメータに基づいて前記供給電圧を調整するブースト変換器制御信号を前記ブースト変換器に与えるべく構成された制御システムを含むRFモジュール。 - 前記RFモジュールはフロントエンドモジュール(FEM)である請求項16のRFモジュール。
- 無線デバイスであって、
無線周波数(RF)信号を発生させるべく構成された送受信器と、
前記送受信器と通信するフロントエンドモジュール(FEM)と、
前記FEMと通信するアンテナと
を含み、
前記FEMは、複数のコンポーネントを受容するべく構成されたパッケージング基板を含み、
前記FEMはさらに、前記パッケージング基板に実装された電力増幅システムを含み、
前記電力増幅システムは、前記RF信号を増幅するべく構成された電力増幅器を含み、
前記電力増幅システムはさらに、前記電力増幅器に供給電圧を与えるべく構成されたブースト変換器を含み、
前記電力増幅システムはさらに、前記電力増幅器に関連付けられたパラメータに基づいて前記供給電圧を調整するブースト変換器制御信号を前記ブースト変換器に与えるべく構成された制御システムを含み、
前記アンテナは、増幅されたRF信号を送信するべく構成される無線デバイス。 - 前記制御システムは、前記電力増幅器のセンスされた条件を検出し、前記センスされた条件に基づいて前記ブースト変換器制御信号を発生させるべく構成される請求項18の無線デバイス。
- 前記送受信器は、前記電力増幅器のセンスされた条件を示す信号を受信し、前記センスされた条件に基づく送受信器制御信号を前記制御システムへと送信するべく構成され、
前記制御システムは、前記送受信器制御信号に基づいて前記ブースト変換器制御信号を発生させるべく構成される請求項18の無線デバイス。
