一対の対向する第1及び第2の顎部材であって、前記第1の顎部材が第1の封止面を有し、前記第2の顎部材が第2の封止面を有し、前記顎部材の少なくとも一方が他方に対し相対的に、前記顎部材が互いに対して間隔を空けた関係で配設される第1の開位置から前記顎部材が互いに近接する前記第1及び第2の封止面と協働して間に組織を把持する第2の閉位置へと移動するように構成された、一対の対向する第1及び第2の顎部材と;
前記第1の封止面に配置された第1の封止電極と;
前記第2の封止面に配置された第2の封止電極と;
前記第1及び第2の封止面の一方又は両方に配設される1以上の導電性止め部材であって、前記顎部材が閉位置にあるときに前記第1の封止電極と前記第2の封止電極との間に所定の間隔を維持する1以上の止め部材と;
前記顎部材が閉位置にあるときに前記導電性止め部材が前記第1の封止電極と前記第2の封止電極との間の電気的短絡の原因となることを防止するようになされた1以上の絶縁部材とを備える;
電気手術器具用エンドエフェクタ。 - 電気手術器具用顎部材を製造する方法であって:
長手方向に延びるスロットを有する導電性プレートを提供するステップと;
一対の細長い細片を提供するステップであって、前記細長い細片は1以上の導電性止め部材を含むステップと;
前記細長い細片が前記長手方向に延びるスロット内に配置された状態で、前記導電性プレートと前記細長い細片とを第1の型に入れるステップと;
第1の流動性の絶縁材料を前記型へ注入するステップと;
前記流動性の材料が前記導電性プレートと前記細長い細片とを含むインサート(挿入体)を形成するように、前記第1の流動性の絶縁材料を固化するステップと;
長手方向の顎区間を有する顎ハウジングを提供するステップと;
前記インサートと前記顎ハウジングとを第2の型に入れるステップと;
第2の流動性の絶縁材料を前記型に注入して前記前記顎ハウジングに対して前記インサートを固定するステップと;
前記第2の流動性の絶縁材料を固化するステップと;
前記顎ハウジング、前記インサート及び前記固化した絶縁材料を前記型から顎部材として取り出すステップとを備える;
