Claims (8)
- 入力信号の符号化モードがCELP(code excited linear prediction)モードと決定されれば、前記入力信号の低バンド信号の線形予測係数(LPC)を利用して抽出されたLPC励起信号に対して、CELP符号化を行うCELP符号化部と、
前記入力信号の低バンド信号のLPC励起信号に対してCELP符号化が行われれば、前記入力信号の高バンド信号に対してTD(time domain)拡張符号化を行う TD拡張符号化部と、
前記入力信号の符号化モードがオーディオ符号化モードと決定されれば、前記入力信号の低バンド信号の線形予測係数(LPC)を利用して抽出された
LPC励起信号に対して、オーディオ符号化を行うオーディオ符号化部と、
前記入力信号の低バンド信号のLPC励起信号に対してオーディオ符号化が行われれば、前記入力信号の高バンド信号に対してFD(frequency domain)拡張符号化を行うFD拡張符号化部と、を含む符号化装置。 - ノン−トランジェント(non-transient)フレームに対して、エネルギー制御に基づいて前記FD拡張符号化を行うことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の符号化装置。
- 前記FD拡張符号化を行う段階は、互いに異なるビット率に対して、同一のコードブックを共有して、エネルギー量子化を行うことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の符号化装置。
- 前記FD拡張符号化部は、前記入力信号からエネルギーを抽出し、前記抽出されたエネルギーを制御し、前記制御されたエネルギーを量子化することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の符号化装置。
- 前記FD拡張符号化部は、周波数バンドに対応するエネルギーを抽出することを特徴とする請求項4に記載の符号化装置。
- 前記FD拡張符号化部は、前記入力信号から推定されたエネルギー制御要素を利用して、エネルギーを制御することを特徴とする請求項4に記載の符号化装置。
- 前記FD拡張符号化部は、知覚的重要度が高い低域周波数バンドに加重値を付与し、エネルギーをベクトル量子化することを特徴とする請求項4に記載の符号化装置。
- 前記FD拡張符号化部は、知覚的重要度が高い低域周波数バンドに、高域周波数バンドより相対的に多くのビットを割り当ててエネルギーを量子化することを特徴とする請求項4に記載の符号化装置。
