Claims (19)
- 組織の対象治療領域の近位領域に配置するための遠位端と、
前記遠位端にある出力ポートと、
前記出力ポートから前記対象治療組織領域へ出力される光エネルギーを生成するエネルギー源と、
前記対象治療組織領域の温度を、一定時間に、損傷温度より低い温度であって、前記対象治療組織領域において熱ショックタンパク質(HSPs)の発現を誘発する温度まで上昇させるために、前記対象治療組織領域での前記光エネルギーを制御する制御装置と、を備える皮膚科医療装置。 - 前記HSPが、前記対象治療組織領域におけるコラーゲン合成を刺激する、請求項1に記載の皮膚科医療装置。
- 前記エネルギー源と前記制御装置とを被包する筐体をさらに備える、請求項1に記載の皮膚科医療装置。
- 前記筐体は、延伸方向に延びる略円柱形状を有する、請求項3に記載の皮膚科医療装置。
- 前記筐体は、前記遠位端が前記筐体の本体に対して垂直になるように構成され配置され、前記光エネルギーは、前記筐体の前記本体に対して垂直な方向に出力される、請求項3に記載の皮膚科医療装置。
- 前記光エネルギーは、前記筐体の前記本体に対して0〜90°の角度に設定された方向に出力される、請求項5に記載の皮膚科医療装置。
- 前記筐体内に配置され、前記光エネルギー源に電気エネルギー源を提供する電源をさらに備える、請求項6に記載の皮膚科医療装置。
- 光エネルギー源は、皮膚の光学的性質とその波長とに応じて、前記治療組織領域で非損傷性熱ショック刺激を提供する、波長、エネルギー投与量、または熱ブーストのうち少なくとも1つを有する前記光エネルギーを出力する、請求項1に記載の皮膚科医療装置。
- 前記組織は、ヒトまたは動物の皮膚を含む、請求項1に記載の皮膚科医療装置。
- 前記治療組織領域の温度が所定許容範囲にあるかどうかを判断し、前記制御装置に対してレーザー出射と前記エネルギー源への電流の送達とを許可する少なくとも1つの安全センサをさらに備える、請求項1に記載の皮膚科医療装置。

- 前記対象治療組織領域に送達される治療エネルギーの量は、前記送達されるエネルギーの時間プロファイルを制御することによって制御される、請求項1に記載の皮膚科医療装置。
- しわまたは組織の襞に起因する光学的損失を減少させるために皮膚伸張機構をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の皮膚科医療装置。
- 前記装置は、処置パルスの終了時に熱ブーストを提供することによって長い熱曝露時間を提供する、請求項1に記載の皮膚科医療装置。
- 前記対象治療組織領域の温度は、少なくとも2℃〜8℃以下だけ上昇される、請求項1に記載の皮膚科医療装置。
