Abstract
Description
本願は、2012年8月10日に提出された「IMPLANTABLE BIOCOMPATIBLE TUBULAR MATERIAL」という名称の米国特許仮出願第61/682,070号(その全体が、参照により本明細書に援用される)に基づく優先権を主張する。
本発明の実施態様の一部を以下の項目[1]−[13]に記載する。

血流を導くための埋め込み型器具であって、前記埋め込み型器具が、
複合材料から形成された生体適合性管状部材
を備え、
前記生体適合性管状部材が、
ePTFE/FEPフィルムを含む第1の層と、
前記第1の層の周りに巻き付けられているとともに、ePTFE/エラストマーフィルムを含む第2の層とを有し、前記ePTFE/エラストマーフィルムのePTFE成分が、前記ePTFE/エラストマーフィルムの約30重量%を構成し、前記ePTFE/エラストマーフィルムのエラストマー成分が、前記ePTFE/エラストマーフィルムの約70重量%を構成し、前記エラストマーが、約35〜30重量%のTFEと、補足的に約65〜70重量%のPMVEとを含むTFE/PMVEコポリマーを含み、
前記管状部材の壁厚が25マイクロメートル未満であり、破裂壁応力が50,000psi超である埋め込み型器具。

Claims (13)
- 血流を導くための埋め込み型器具であって、前記埋め込み型器具が、
複合材料から形成された生体適合性管状部材
を備え、
前記生体適合性管状部材が、
ePTFE/FEPフィルムを含む第1の層と、
前記第1の層の周りに巻き付けられているとともに、ePTFE/エラストマーフィルムを含む第2の層とを有し、前記ePTFE/エラストマーフィルムのePTFE成分が、前記ePTFE/エラストマーフィルムの約30重量%を構成し、前記ePTFE/エラストマーフィルムのエラストマー成分が、前記ePTFE/エラストマーフィルムの約70重量%を構成し、前記エラストマーが、約35〜30重量%のTFEと、補足的に約65〜70重量%のPMVEとを含むTFE/PMVEコポリマーを含み、
前記管状部材の壁厚が25マイクロメートル未満であり、破裂壁応力が50,000psi超である埋め込み型器具。 - 第3の可撓性マトリックスを含む第3の層を更に備える、請求項1に記載の器具。
- 前記第3の層が、前記第2の層の少なくとも一部を取り囲む、請求項2に記載の器具。
- 前記第1の可撓性マトリックスが、少なくとも1つの巻き付け膜を備える、請求項1に記載の器具。
- 前記第1の可撓性マトリックスの前記少なくとも1つの巻き付け膜が、ePTFE、ePTFEコポリマー、ポリエステル、ナイロン、及びFEPうちの1つを含む、請求項4に記載の器具。
- 前記第1の可撓性マトリックスが、押出ポリマー材を含む、請求項1に記載の器具。
- 前記押出ポリマー材が、ePTFE、ePTFEコポリマー、及びFEPのうちの少なくとも1つを含む、請求項6に記載の器具。
- 前記第2の可撓性マトリックスが、ePTFE及びFEPの積層体を備える少なくとも1つの巻き付け膜を備える、請求項1に記載の器具。
- 第2の可撓性マトリックスが、前記ePTFE/エラストマーフィルムからなる巻き付け体を20個備える、請求項8に記載の器具。
- 前記第1の層がエラストマー成分を更に含む、請求項1に記載の器具。
- 前記第2の層の前記エラストマー成分がTFE/PMVEコポリマーである、請求項1に記載の器具。
- ステントを更に備える、請求項1に記載の器具。
