Abstract
Description
硫黄含有量:硫化した収着剤中の全硫黄含有量を、試料を燃焼し、赤外分光法を用いて遊離した硫黄酸化物を測定するLECO SC−632機器を使用することで決定した。約0.25gの試料が酸素中で燃焼され、SOXに富むガス流を生成する。次に、IR分析は流体中のSOXの含有量を決定するのに使用され、これは、試料ごとに重量によって表される全硫黄含有量を規定するために分析された試料の重量と関連がある。
国際公開第2009/101429号による収着剤前駆体を、アルミナ三水和物及びセメントと粘土の結合剤の組合せを用いて、塩基性炭酸銅を粒状化することによって調製した。該顆粒を105℃で乾燥した。該顆粒の粒度範囲は2.00から4.75mmであった。詳細は表1に示した。
硫化した硫黄含有収着剤に適用した追加的な加熱工程を併せて、実施例1の方法を繰り返した。同一の収着剤前駆体を、硫化する時間が120分である同一の硫化方法で処理した。硫化工程の後で、二酸化炭素中の硫化水素濃度を0.5%まで低くし、全流速を915 l/hrのガス流に維持するために調整した。温度勾配を反応器に適用して175℃で90分(勾配時間)を超す硫化した硫黄含有収着剤を加熱した。175℃で更に30分間保持した。この期間を滞留時間と定義する。
硫化時間、勾配時間、又は滞留時間の変化とともに、手順を繰り返した。
Claims (20)
- (i)一又は複数の硫化可能な銅化合物を含む収着剤前駆物質を、硫化水素を含む硫化ガス流に接触させて、硫化した硫黄含有収着剤物質を生成させる工程と、(ii)窒素、アルゴン、ヘリウム、二酸化炭素、メタン、及び、それらの混合ガスから選択される不活性ガス下であって、硫化水素を含んでいてもよい不活性ガス下において、硫化した硫黄含有収着剤物質を、硫化工程で使用されるより高い温度で、かつ110℃以上に加熱される、加熱工程に供する工程とを含む、硫化した銅収着剤を製造する方法。
- 銅又は銅と亜鉛の酸化物、水酸化物、炭酸塩、又はヒドロキシ炭酸塩を、一又は複数の結合剤と任意選択の担体物質とを結合させることで前駆体を生成させる、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 銅の可溶性塩の溶液を担体物質に含浸し、次いでこの含浸した担体を乾燥させ、任意選択的に焼成させることで収着剤前駆体を生成させる、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 不溶性の銅化合物のスラリーで担体物質を被覆し、次いでこの被覆された担体を乾燥させ、任意選択的に焼成させることで収着剤前駆体を生成させる、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 担体物質が、アルミナ、水和アルミナ、金属アルミン酸塩、シリカ、チタニア、ジルコニア、酸化亜鉛、アルミノケイ酸塩、ゼオライト、又はこれらの混合物からなる群から選択される、請求項2から4のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 硫化ガス流が、硫化水素と、窒素、アルゴン、ヘリウム、二酸化炭素、メタン、及びそれらの混合ガスから選択される不活性ガスとを含む、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 硫化ガス流の硫化水素含有量が、0.25から80体積%、好ましくは0.5から10体積%、更に好ましくは0.75から4.5体積%である、請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 硫化ガス流の圧力が、1から100psigの範囲、好ましくは1から20psigである、請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- オキシダントが一又は複数の遊離酸素(O2)から選択される、硫化ガス流の総オキシダント含有量が、1体積%以下、好ましくは0.1体積%以下、より好ましくは0.01体積%以下、最も好ましくは0.001体積%以下である、請求項1から8のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 硫化工程における流入部の温度が0から150℃の範囲、好ましくは20から100℃である、請求項1から9のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 硫化ガス流が、収着剤前駆体の固定床を0.1m/s以上の線速度で、しかし流動化速度未満で通過する、請求項1から10のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 硫化ガス流が水蒸気を含む、請求項1から11のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 硫化ガス流が0.2から2.0体積%の範囲の水蒸気レベルを有する、請求項1から12のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 硫黄含有収着剤物質が、硫化工程における最高温度よりも40℃以上高い加熱工程における温度に加熱される、請求項1から13のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 硫黄含有収着剤物質が、125℃以上の温度、好ましくは140℃以上に加熱される、請求項1から14のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 収着剤前駆体が塩基性炭酸銅を含んでおり、硫黄含有収着剤物質が140から200℃の範囲、好ましくは140から200℃、最も好ましくは160から180℃で加熱される、請求項1から15のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 加熱工程が、窒素、アルゴン、ヘリウム、二酸化炭素、メタン、及びそれらの混合ガスから選択される不活性ガスであって、硫化工程で使用したよりも低い濃度で硫化水素を含む不活性ガス下で実施される、請求項1から16のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 硫化した収着剤物質を水素含有ガス流中で還元して、還元された銅収着剤を製造することを更に含む、請求項1から17のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 請求項1から18のいずれか一項に記載の方法に従って調製される、硫化した銅含有収着剤。
- 液体又はガス性のプロセス流体から水銀を除去する方法において、プロセス気流と、請求項19に記載の収着剤、又は請求項1から18のいずれか一項に記載の方法に従って調製された収着剤とを接触させる工程を含む方法。
