構造体要素であって、
(a)熱可塑性基材中に懸濁された繊維性材料で形成された中央部材であって、連続した外周部と、その中の重量低減用内部空隙のアレイを有する中央部材と、
(b)各々が、連続した外周部と、前記中央部材の前記重量低減用内部空隙に重なる中実ボディを有する第1サイド部材及び第2サイド部材を有し、
(c)加熱された熱可塑性状態にある間に、前記第1サイド部材が前記中央部材の第1側面に結合されるとともに前記第2サイド部材が前記中央部材の第2側面に結合されて単一の一体的な構造体を形成し、
前記構造体が、前記構造体の結合面にわたる不連続が存在しないことを特徴とする構造体要素。

前記中央部材、前記第1サイド部材及び前記第2サイド部材が、同一の外周形状を有することを特徴とする項目6に記載の構造体要素。
(項目8)
前記第1サイド部材と前記第2サイド部材の複合厚さが、前記中央部材の厚さより薄いことを特徴とする項目6に記載の構造体要素。
(項目9)
前記サイド部材が、座席のスプレッダ横材の側板を有することを特徴とする項目6に記載の構造体要素。

構造体要素の形成方法であって、
(a)複合基材材料にとともに成形された細片または短繊維充填材料の複合材である中央部材を形成するステップと、
(b)その場で熱成形または熱結合可能である前記中央部材と適合するタイプの熱可塑性樹脂に埋め込まれた織物または方向性織物材料の少なくとも1つのサイド部材を形成するステップと、
(c)前記中央部材と前記少なくとも1つのサイド部材を加熱するステップと、
(d)前記中央部材を前記少なくとも1つのサイド部材に結合して、単一の一体的な構造体を形成するステップ、
を有し、
前記構造体が、前記構造体の結合面にわたる不連続が存在しないことを特徴とするステップ、
を有する構造体要素の形成方法。

前記少なくとも1つのサイド部材を形成するステップが、第1サイド部材及び第2サイド部材を形成するステップを有することを特徴とする項目10に記載の構造体要素の形成方法。
(項目12)
前記中央部材を形成するステップが、前記中央部材を、押し出し成型するステップ、型成形するステップ、または引き抜き成形するステップからなる群から選択されるステップを有することを特徴とする項目11に記載の構造体要素の形成方法。

連続した外周部を有する前記中央部材を形成するステップと、
その中の重量低減用内部空隙のアレイを形成するステップ、
を有することを特徴とする項目10に記載の構造体要素の形成方法。

同一の外周形状を有する前記中央部材、第1サイド部材及び第2サイド部材を形成するステップを有することを特徴とする項目10に記載の構造体要素の形成方法。

前記中央部材を形成するステップが、連続した外周部と、その中の重量低減用内部空隙のアレイを形成するステップを有し、
前記少なくとも1つのサイド部材を形成するステップが、連続した外周部と、前記中央部材の前記重量低減用内部空隙に重なる中実ボディを形成するステップを有する、
ことを特徴とする項目10に記載の構造体要素の形成方法。

前記中央部材を形成するステップを有し、
前記少なくとも1つのサイド部材を形成するステップが、座席のスプレッダ横材を形成するステップを有する、
ことを特徴とする項目10に記載の構造体要素の形成方法。

互いに離隔された複数のスプレッダ横材を有する航空機の乗客用座席を形成するステップを有し、
各スプレッダ横材が、中央部材、第1サイド部材及び第2サイド部材から形成される、
項目10に記載の構造体要素の形成方法。
Claims (17)
- 構造体要素であって、
(a)熱可塑性基材中に懸濁された繊維性材料で形成された中央部材と、
(b)熱可塑性基材中に懸濁された繊維性材料で形成された少なくとも1つのサイド部材、
を有し、
(c)前記中央部材と前記少なくとも1つのサイド部材が、加熱された熱可塑性状態にある間に相互に結合されて単一の一体的な構造体を形成し、
前記構造体が、前記構造体の結合面にわたる不連続が存在しないことを特徴とする構造体要素。 - 第1サイド部材及び第2サイド部材を有し、
前記第1サイド部材が前記中央部材の第1側面に結合されており、前記第2サイド部材が前記中央部材の第2側面に結合されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の構造体要素。 - 前記中央部材が、連続した外周部と、その中の重量低減用内部空隙のアレイを有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の構造体要素。
- 前記中央部材、前記第1サイド部材及び前記第2サイド部材が、同一の外周形状を有することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の構造体要素。
- 前記中央部材が、連続した外周部と、その中の重量低減用内部空隙のアレイを有し、
前記少なくとも1つのサイド部材が、連続した外周部と、前記中央部材の前記重量低減用内部空隙に重なる中実ボディを有することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の構造体要素。 - 構造体要素であって、
(a)熱可塑性基材中に懸濁された繊維性材料で形成された中央部材であって、連続した外周部と、その中の重量低減用内部空隙のアレイを有する中央部材と、
(b)各々が、連続した外周部と、前記中央部材の前記重量低減用内部空隙に重なる中実ボディを有する第1サイド部材及び第2サイド部材を有し、
(c)加熱された熱可塑性状態にある間に、前記第1サイド部材が前記中央部材の第1側面に結合されるとともに前記第2サイド部材が前記中央部材の第2側面に結合されて単一の一体的な構造体を形成し、
前記構造体が、前記構造体の結合面にわたる不連続が存在しないことを特徴とする構造体要素。 - 前記中央部材、前記第1サイド部材及び前記第2サイド部材が、同一の外周形状を有することを特徴とする請求項6に記載の構造体要素。
- 前記第1サイド部材と前記第2サイド部材の複合厚さが、前記中央部材の厚さより薄いことを特徴とする請求項6に記載の構造体要素。
- 前記サイド部材が、座席のスプレッダ横材の側板を有することを特徴とする請求項6に記載の構造体要素。
- 構造体要素の形成方法であって、
(a)複合基材材料にとともに成形された細片または短繊維充填材料の複合材である中央部材を形成するステップと、
(b)その場で熱成形または熱結合可能である前記中央部材と適合するタイプの熱可塑性樹脂に埋め込まれた織物または方向性織物材料の少なくとも1つのサイド部材を形成するステップと、
(c)前記中央部材と前記少なくとも1つのサイド部材を加熱するステップと、
(d)前記中央部材を前記少なくとも1つのサイド部材に結合して、単一の一体的な構造体を形成するステップ、
を有し、
前記構造体が、前記構造体の結合面にわたる不連続が存在しないことを特徴とするステップ、
を有する構造体要素の形成方法。 - 前記少なくとも1つのサイド部材を形成するステップが、第1サイド部材及び第2サイド部材を形成するステップを有することを特徴とする請求項10に記載の構造体要素の形成方法。
- 前記中央部材を形成するステップが、前記中央部材を、押し出し成型するステップ、型成形するステップ、または引き抜き成形するステップからなる群から選択されるステップを有することを特徴とする請求項11に記載の構造体要素の形成方法。
- 連続した外周部を有する前記中央部材を形成するステップと、
その中の重量低減用内部空隙のアレイを形成するステップ、
を有することを特徴とする請求項10に記載の構造体要素の形成方法。 - 同一の外周形状を有する前記中央部材、第1サイド部材及び第2サイド部材を形成するステップを有することを特徴とする請求項10に記載の構造体要素の形成方法。
- 前記中央部材を形成するステップが、連続した外周部と、その中の重量低減用内部空隙のアレイを形成するステップを有し、
前記少なくとも1つのサイド部材を形成するステップが、連続した外周部と、前記中央部材の前記重量低減用内部空隙に重なる中実ボディを形成するステップを有する、
ことを特徴とする請求項10に記載の構造体要素の形成方法。 - 前記中央部材を形成するステップを有し、
前記少なくとも1つのサイド部材を形成するステップが、座席のスプレッダ横材を形成するステップを有する、
ことを特徴とする請求項10に記載の構造体要素の形成方法。 - 互いに離隔された複数のスプレッダ横材を有する航空機の乗客用座席を形成するステップを有し、
各スプレッダ横材が、中央部材、第1サイド部材及び第2サイド部材から形成される、
