- バルーンカテーテルであって、
長手方向に延在する細長いチューブ状のシャフトであって、近位端部および遠位端部を有するシャフトと、
前記シャフトの前記遠位端部に沿って支持される膨張可能なバルーンであって、膨張されるときに、間隔を置いて配置された第1および第2の円錐形状の端部部位と、前記円錐形状の端部部位同士の間の作用表面と、を有するバルーンと
を備え、
前記バルーンは、前記円錐形状の端部部位から前記作用表面への移行部を識別する少なくとも1つのX線不透過性のマーキングをさらに備える
バルーンカテーテル。 - 請求項1に記載のカテーテルであって、
前記少なくとも1つのX線不透過性のマーキングは、
前記第1の円錐形状の端部部位と前記作用表面との間の第1の移行部において、第1のX線不透過性のマーキングを備え、
前記第2の円錐形状の端部部位と前記作用表面との間の第2の移行部において、第2のX線不透過性のマーキングをさらに備える
カテーテル。 - 請求項1または請求項2に記載のカテーテルであって、
前記少なくとも1つのマーキングはストリップを備える
カテーテル。 - 請求項1ないし請求項3のいずれか一項に記載のカテーテルであって、
ストリップの形態の複数のX線不透過性のマーキングをさらに備える

前記ストリップは、前記第1および第2の円錐形状の端部部位の間で少なくとも部分的に長手方向に延在する

それぞれの円錐形状の端部部位に設けられており、
それぞれの円錐形状の端部部位の遠位部分および近位部分に隣接するマーキングを備える
カテーテル。 - 請求項1ないし請求項7のいずれか一項に記載のカテーテルであって、
前記バルーンは、
前記第1および第2の円錐形状の端部部位の間にバレル部位を備え、
前記バレル部位上に複数のX線不透過性のマーキングをさらに備える
カテーテル。 - 請求項1ないし請求項8のいずれか一項に記載のカテーテルであって、
前記マーキングは、
前記第1および第2の円錐形状の端部部位上の第1のパターンを備え、前記作用表面上の別の第2のパターンをさらに備える
カテーテル。 - 請求項1ないし請求項9のいずれか一項に記載のカテーテルであって、
前記少なくとも1つのマーキングは、パターン、ストリップ、ブランド、ロゴ、文字、数字、単語、または、それらの組合せからなる群から選択される
カテーテル。 - 請求項1ないし請求項10のいずれか一項に記載のカテーテルであって、
前記識別子はスケールを備える

前記X線不透過性のマーキングは、X線不透過剤を含有するように製剤化された前記薬品を含有する

前記バルーンの壁部の作用表面上に保持される薬品と、
前記バルーン上の前記薬品の場所を識別するX線不透過性の識別子と
を備えるバルーン。 - 請求項16に記載のバルーンであって、
前記X線不透過性の識別子は、前記薬品を含有する製剤と混合されたX線不透過性の材料を含有する
バルーン。 - 請求項16または請求項17に記載のバルーンであって、
前記作用表面は、前記バルーンのバレル部位に沿っており、
前記X線不透過性の識別子は、前記バルーンの円錐部位の一方または両方にある
バルーン。 - 薬品でコーティングされたバルーンを生成する方法であって、
前記薬品の場所は、X線不透過性によって識別され、
前記方法は、X線不透過性の薬剤と、薬品と、を前記バルーンに適用する工程を備える
