Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a road marking paint used for a white line on a road paved with concrete or asphalt, and a road marking object constructed using this paint.
Conventional road marking paints are made by blending and kneading a thermoplastic resin with a white pigment such as titanium dioxide and a filler such as calcium carbonate. The blended and kneaded paint is made into resin pellets, and the resin pellets are melted by a heat-melting type road drawing machine at the construction site and applied onto the road. In a soft state, glass beads are spread on the road to construct a road white line. ing.
However, the road white line constructed by this method is flooded by rain and can be covered with water. When the car runs with the headlight turned on in this state at night, the light beam of the headlight totally reflects forward beyond the critical angle by the water film, so the glass beads that should emit reflected light do not hit the light and the road white line The light reflected from the road does not reach the driver, making it difficult to see the white road line. Therefore, there is a risk of hindering traffic safety.
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a road marking paint that can be constructed so that a white road marking such as a road white line can be easily visually recognized even when the road is flooded at night.
The road marking paint of the present invention is a luminescent particle coated with at least one of a fluorescent dye and glass powder, which is coated with a silane coupling agent, a phosphorescent pigment that emits light blue and white, and has good light transmission, The luminescent particles are characterized by mixing the luminescent particles, the extender additive, and the thermoplastic resin as a binder, and dispersing the luminescent particles therein.
In addition, the master batch pellet of the present invention is characterized in that a linear object that has come out through a die in a molten state of a road marking paint is appropriately cut and cooled.
Furthermore, the road marking object of the present invention is characterized in that the master batch pellet is melted and applied to a desired place on the road to be cooled and solidified.
According to the present invention, even if the road is flooded at night, the phosphorescent pigment always emits light and can recognize the road white line. Further, the fluorescent dye emits light upon receiving the light of the headlight from the vehicle. Can provide a road marking paint that emits reflected light, a masterbatch pellet of the paint, and a white road marking applied using the pellet. As a result, the driver can surely see the white road markings constructed without reducing the luminous ability of the phosphorescent pigment. Therefore, it can contribute to traffic safety.
The present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings showing preferred embodiments.
FIG. 2 is a conceptual cross-sectional view of the luminescent particles X contained in the road marking paint. The luminous particles X are coated with a silicon-based silane coupling agent b with the phosphorescent pigment a powder as a core. Further, it is formed by coating with at least one of white fluorescent dye c having good light transmittance and white glass powder d having good light transmittance.
A road marking paint is produced by mixing the luminous particles X, the additive e shown in FIG. 1 and the thermoplastic resin f as a binder, and dispersing the luminous particles X in the paint.
Here, the thermoplastic resin f serves as a binder, but in consideration of weather resistance, wear resistance, and workability, an ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer EVA or a hydrocarbon resin (manufactured by Nippon Zeon Co., Ltd.). Quintone (registered trademark) CX495) is used.
Here, the phosphorescent pigment a generally shows a yellow background, but there are those that emit yellow light and those that emit blue white. Those that emit yellow light can be coated with a white fluorescent dye c and glass powder d having good light transmission to appear white, but emit light yellow and are difficult to use. Therefore, a phosphorescent pigment a that emits blue-white light is used.
The phosphorescent pigment a is selected under these conditions, and zinc sulfide (ZnS series) or strontium aluminate (SrAl2O4 series) is used. In addition, it is appropriately selected from the types such as silicon-based, silicate aluminate mixed system, sulfide-based, and alkaline earth aluminate-based. All of these absorb light energy such as ultraviolet rays, convert them into visible light, and always emit light. Specifically, the phosphorescent pigment a emits light by converting near ultraviolet light having a wavelength of 315 nm to 400 nm into visible light having a wavelength of 410 nm to 650 nm.
Moreover, although the silane coupling agent b comes from various manufacturers, KBM3063 manufactured by Shin-Etsu Chemical Co., Ltd. is used here. This silane coupling agent b is transparent and water-resistant, and even if the phosphorescent pigment a powder is coated, the ability of phosphorescence and light emission is not diminished.
On the other hand, although the white fluorescent dye c has various grades, FZ-5009White manufactured by Kasei Shoji Co., Ltd. is suitable for this road marking paint.
Furthermore, the extending additive e has at least one of barium sulfate, silicon powder, and glass beads, and the increasing additive e is added to make a road marking paint.
As a preferable example of this road marking paint, phosphorescent pigment a is 5 to 30% based on the total amount of paint, and based on this, additive additive e is 50 to 79% and binder f is 16 to 50%. % Is mixed.
Here, when the phosphorescent pigment a is 5% or less, the light emission ability is inferior, and when it is 30% or more, the fluidity as a paint is lost and the product becomes brittle, so this range is not adopted.
The specific road marking paint manufacturing method is as follows. First, the phosphorescent pigment (a) 20% is put into a mixer and kneaded while the silane coupling agent (b) KBM3063 is kneaded 5%. When sprinkled, a thin film that adheres evenly to the surface of phosphorescent pigment a and protects phosphorescent pigment a from water is created.
Next, when 5% of white fluorescent dye (c) FZ-5009White is weighed and added to the mixer, the surface of uncured silane coupling agent b that forms a film on phosphorescent pigment a is added. The fluorescent dye c adheres evenly. Thereby, the surface of the phosphorescent pigment a is covered with a white coating, and the luminous particles X that are whitened by concealing the pale yellow ground color of the phosphorescent pigment a are obtained.
The whitened luminescent particles X30% were put into a twin-screw kneading extruder together with 55% of ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer EVA as a thermoplastic resin f and heated in the range of 200 to 220 ° C. to be liquid. Then, if necessary, 15% glass beads of 50 to 100 microns are sequentially added and kneaded to obtain a road marking paint.
The mixture which is this road marking paint is put into a twin-screw kneading extruder. This twin-screw kneading extruder is provided with a die having a hole with a diameter of several millimeters at the end, and the mixture is fed as a road marking paint made into a linear body as if it is a cocoon, and cut at an appropriate length When cooled, master batch pellets of luminous melting road marking paint are made. Each master batch pellet is made by kneading each constituent material into a substantially uniform composition, and is suitable for storage, transportation, and preparation during construction. That is, since the constituent materials of the master batch pellets are kneaded in a substantially uniform composition, the luminous particles X are uniformly dispersed in any applied white road marking object Y.
Here, the white road sign Y means a road white line applied to road marking lines, center lines, stop lines, sidewalks, etc., and character marks such as stops and slow speeds.
The case where the white road marking object Y which is a road white line is constructed to the concrete or asphalt road Z like FIG. 1 is demonstrated.
A predetermined amount of phosphorescent melt-type road marking paint master batch pellets is weighed into a melting pot of a heat-melting type road drawing machine, and is melted and liquefied by heating at 200 to 230 ° C. on road Z Apply to the designated place and solidify by cooling and construct the road white line Y. Since the temperature at the time of manufacturing the road marking paint and the master batch pellet or melting the master batch pellet does not reach 700 ° C. at which the phosphorescent pigment a loses the luminous property, the luminous property and luminous property are not affected.
The white road marking object Y, which is a road white line constructed in this way, stores light energy in the daytime, the phosphorescent pigment a always emits light, receives sunlight and the fluorescent dye b emits fluorescence, silicon powder Further, the additive e such as glass beads emits reflected light and is sufficiently visible. Even if the white road sign Y is flooded due to rain or watering, the white road sign Y can be visually recognized by reflected light of natural light. Since this light emission luminance is secondary light emission upon receiving sunlight, it does not illuminate the driver by glare like the luminance due to the reflection of sunlight.
Also, at night, phosphorescent pigment a always emits light even if white road marking object Y is submerged, and increased addition of fluorescent dye c and glass beads d, silicon powder, glass powder, etc. that received the light of the headlight. The agent e emits reflected light and is sufficiently visible.
As described above, the white road marking object Y using the road marking paint of the present invention is visible to the driver at any time, whether it is flooded in the daytime or at night, and traffic safety can be achieved.
The road marking paint, master batch pellets and white road markings according to the present invention can be used for road centerlines, survey lines, division regulation lines, pedestrian crossing markings, stop lines, etc., and meet the regulations of each country.
