Claims (5)
- 中性子線を検出する中性子線検出装置であって、
放射線が入射すると光を発生させるシンチレータと、
前記シンチレータで発生した前記光を伝送する光ファイバと、
前記光ファイバによって伝送された前記光に基づいて中性子線量を算出する算出部と、を備え、
前記光ファイバは、前記シンチレータ側端部の壁部に前記光を乱反射させる反射部を有する、中性子線検出装置。 - 前記反射部は、前記光ファイバの壁部において、前記シンチレータ側端部から予め定められた長さに達する位置まで形成されている、請求項1に記載の中性子線検出装置。
- 前記光ファイバの直径をφとし、前記光ファイバ内を通る光が前記光ファイバ内で全反射するときの臨界角をθとし、前記反射部が形成される前記予め定められた長さをLとしたときに、
L=φ/tanθ
を満たす、請求項2に記載の中性子線検出装置。 - 前記反射部は、散乱用塗料によって形成される、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の中性子線検出装置。
- 請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の中性子線検出装置を備えた中性子捕捉療法装置。
