Abstract
【解決手段】複数のチャネルをダウンミックスして、ダウンミックス信号を得るダウンミキサー1010を備える。さらに、残余信号を計算するための残余信号計算器1020と、ダウンミックス信号と残余信号との間の位相差に関する情報を計算し、位相情報を得る位相情報計算器1030と、位相情報を出力する出力生成器1040と、を備える。

Claims (7)
- 複数のチャネルを有するオーディオ信号を符号化する装置であって、
前記複数のチャネルをダウンミックスして、ダウンミックス信号を得るダウンミキサー(1010)と、
残余信号を計算するための残余信号計算器(1020)と、
前記ダウンミックス信号と前記残余信号との間の位相差に関する情報を計算し、位相情報を得る位相情報計算器(1030)と、
前記位相情報を出力する出力生成器(1040)と、を備える装置。 - 請求項1に記載のオーディオ信号を符号化する装置であって、
前記位相情報を量子化する位相情報量子化器をさらに備える、装置。 - 請求項1又は2に記載のオーディオ信号を符号化する装置であって、
ロスレス符号化を適用することにより前記位相情報を損失なく符号化するロスレス符号器をさらに備える、装置。 - 複数のチャネルを有するオーディオ信号を符号化する方法であって、
前記複数のチャネルをダウンミックスして、ダウンミックス信号を得るステップと、
残余信号を計算するステップと、
前記ダウンミックス信号と前記残余信号との間の位相差に関する情報を計算し、位相情報を得るステップと、
前記位相情報を出力するステップと、を含む方法。 - 請求項4に記載のオーディオ信号を符号化する方法において、
前記位相情報を量子化するステップをさらに含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項4又は5に記載のオーディオ信号を符号化する方法において、
ロスレス符号化を適用することにより前記位相情報を損失なく符号化するステップをさらに含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項4〜6のいずれか1項に記載の方法を実行するためのコンピュータプログラム。
