Claims (11)
- 複数のチャネルを有するオーディオ信号を符号化して符号化済みオーディオ信号を得る装置であって、
前記複数のチャネルをダウンミックスして、ダウンミックス信号を得るダウンミキサー(1010)と、
残余信号を計算するための残余信号計算器(1020)と、
前記ダウンミックス信号と前記残余信号との間の位相差に関する情報を計算し、位相情報を得る位相情報計算器(1030)と、
前記ダウンミックス信号と前記位相情報とを含む前記符号化済みオーディオ信号を出力する出力部と、を備える装置。 - 請求項1に記載のオーディオ信号を符号化する装置であって、
前記位相情報計算器(1030)によって計算された前記位相情報は計算済み位相情報であり、
前記計算済み位相情報を量子化して量子化済み位相情報を得る位相情報量子化器をさらに備え、
前記出力部は、前記ダウンミックス信号と前記量子化済み位相情報とを含む前記符号化済みオーディオ信号を出力するよう構成されている、装置。 - 請求項2に記載のオーディオ信号を符号化する装置であって、
前記位相情報量子化器は、前記計算済み位相情報を8個の異なる値にマッピングすることにより、前記計算済み位相情報を量子化して前記量子化済み位相情報を得るよう構成されている、装置。 - 請求項3に記載のオーディオ信号を符号化する装置であって、
前記位相情報量子化器は、前記計算済み位相情報を、位相差0、π/4、π/2、3π/4、π、5π/4、3π/2、及び7π/4を示す8個の異なる値にマッピングすることを含む、装置。 - 請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載のオーディオ信号を符号化する装置であって、
ロスレス符号化を適用することにより前記位相情報を損失なく符号化するロスレス符号器をさらに備える、装置。 - 複数のチャネルを有するオーディオ信号を符号化して符号化済みオーディオ信号を得る方法であって、
前記複数のチャネルをダウンミックスして、ダウンミックス信号を得るステップと、
残余信号を計算するステップと、
前記ダウンミックス信号と前記残余信号との間の位相差に関する情報を計算し、位相情報を得るステップと、
前記ダウンミックス信号と前記位相情報とを含む前記符号化済みオーディオ信号を出力するステップと、を含む方法。 - 請求項6に記載のオーディオ信号を符号化する方法において、
前記位相情報は計算済み位相情報であり、
前記方法は、前記計算済み位相情報を量子化して量子化済み位相情報を得る量子化ステップをさらに含み、
前記符号化済みオーディオ信号を出力するステップは、前記ダウンミックス信号と前記量子化済み位相情報とを含む前記符号化済みオーディオ信号を出力することである、方法。 - 請求項7に記載のオーディオ信号を符号化する方法であって、
前記量子化ステップは、前記計算済み位相情報を8個の異なる値にマッピングすることにより、前記計算済み位相情報を量子化して前記量子化済み位相情報を得ることである、方法。 - 請求項8に記載のオーディオ信号を符号化する方法であって、
前記量子化ステップは、前記計算済み位相情報を、位相差0、π/4、π/2、3π/4、π、5π/4、3π/2、及び7π/4を示す8個の異なる値にマッピングすることを含む、方法。 - 請求項6〜9のいずれか1項に記載のオーディオ信号を符号化する方法において、
ロスレス符号化を適用することにより前記位相情報を損失なく符号化するステップをさらに含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項6〜10のいずれか1項に記載の方法を実行するためのコンピュータプログラム。
