Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a polyacetal resin composition.
Polyacetal resin is a crystalline resin and has excellent rigidity, strength, toughness, slidability, and creep properties, so it has traditionally been used in materials for mechanical parts such as automobile parts, electrical / electronic parts, and industrial parts. Widely used.
However, the polyacetal resin is very weak against light energy such as sunlight and heat energy, and has a problem that when it is exposed to the atmosphere for a long time, a crack is generated on the surface of the molded product, causing a decrease in strength. Therefore, when used in an environment exposed to sunlight or the like, it is common to add a weathering stabilizer such as a hindered amine compound.
In recent years, in polyacetal resin molded products, there has been an increasing demand for miniaturization, thinning, and precision, and molding methods and molding conditions that are more susceptible to heat history than conventional ones are increasing.
For example, molding using a pin gate mold and high cycle molding can be mentioned, and the molding method is further performed using a high-viscosity polyacetal resin to reduce the size, thickness and precision of the molded product.
In the molding method described above, the polyacetal resin receives a higher thermal history than the normal molding method by increasing the shear rate, shortening the plasticizing time, and increasing the screw rotation and molding temperature.
Also, in other general molding methods, when molding defects such as flow marks, weld lines, jetting, etc. occur, it is often handled by raising the resin temperature, which also has a high thermal history. This is a factor.
Furthermore, when a hot runner is used for the mold, the resin temperature rises due to partial stagnation of the resin, which may cause decomposition of the resin.
As described above, in the molding method and the condition setting that require various heat histories as described above, when a weathering stabilizer is added to improve the weather resistance, a good property balance is obtained in relation to the thermal stability. It has the problem that it is difficult. That is, there is a problem that thermal stability deteriorates when a large amount of weathering stabilizer is blended with emphasis on weathering stability.
In particular, in the field of automobile interior parts, there is an increasing demand for reducing the amount of volatile organic compounds (VOC) containing formaldehyde, and the resin composition has an excellent balance between weather resistance and thermal stability. There is a need for things.
Conventionally, a method for improving the weather resistance stability of a polyacetal resin has been proposed.
For example, a method of adding a hindered amine light stabilizer and an oxalic acid anilide ultraviolet absorber to a polyacetal resin (see, for example, Patent Document 1), a method of adding a hindered amine light stabilizer and a benzophenone ultraviolet absorber to a polyacetal resin ( For example, refer to Patent Document 2.), a method of adding a hindered amine light stabilizer and a benzotriazole ultraviolet absorber to the polyacetal resin (see, for example, Patent Document 3), a hindered amine light stabilizer to the polyacetal resin, and various ultraviolet absorptions. And a method of adding a fatty acid ester (for example, see Patent Document 4), a method of adding a hindered amine light stabilizer, a benzotriazole ultraviolet absorber, and an antioxidant to a polyacetal resin (for example, see Patent Document 5) ), Polyacetal resin A method of adding a dard amine light stabilizer, an ultraviolet absorber, and a hydrazide compound (for example, see Patent Document 6), and a method of adding a liquid hindered amine light stabilizer to a polyacetal resin (for example, see Patent Document 7). Has been proposed.
However, although the polyacetal resin composition obtained by the methods described in Patent Documents 1 to 7 has an effect of improving the weather stability, a molding method using a pin gate mold due to the influence of the added weather stabilizer. In high cycle molding methods and other small, thin and precise parts molding methods, the polyacetal resin has a high thermal history when exposed to conditions where the molding resin temperature is likely to rise or when hot runners are used. Therefore, there is a problem that polymer degradation is likely to occur. Moreover, from the viewpoint of reducing the amount of formaldehyde released from the obtained molded product, there is a problem that practically good characteristics are not obtained.
Therefore, in the present invention, in view of the above-mentioned problems of the prior art, by combining a specific hindered amine compound with a polyacetal resin, it has excellent thermal stability and greatly reduces the amount of formaldehyde released from molded products and pellets. An object is to provide a possible polyacetal resin composition.

Examples of Lewis acids include, but are not limited to, boric acid, tin, titanium, phosphorus, arsenic, and antimony halides. Specific examples include boron trifluoride, tin tetrachloride, titanium tetrachloride, phosphorus pentafluoride, phosphorus pentachloride, antimony pentafluoride, and complex compounds or salts thereof.
In addition, the protonic acid and its ester or anhydride are not limited to the following, but examples include perchloric acid, trifluoromethanesulfonic acid, perchloric acid-tertiary butyl ester, acetyl perchlorate, trimethyloxonium hexa A fluorophosphate etc. are mentioned.
As the polymerization catalyst, boron trifluoride; boron trifluoride hydrate; and a coordination complex compound of an organic compound containing an oxygen atom or a sulfur atom and boron trifluoride are particularly preferable.
The method for producing the polyacetal homopolymer of the (A) polyacetal resin will be described below.
For example, a formaldehyde monomer as a monomer or its trimer (trioxane) or tetramer (tetraoxane), a chain transfer agent (molecular weight regulator) and a polymerization catalyst are fed to a polymerization reactor filled with a hydrocarbon solvent. Then, a crude polyacetal homopolymer is obtained by a slurry polymerization method. In the obtained crude polyacetal homopolymer, the end group of the polymer is thermally unstable. Therefore, the unstable end group can be blocked with an esterifying agent or an etherifying agent, and the polymer end group can be blocked for stabilization treatment. preferable.
