Abstract
【解決手段】本発明による映像復号化方法は、現在ブロックのイントラ予測モードグループ指示子及び予測モードインデックスを復元し、現在ブロックの左側及び上側ブロックの有効なイントラ予測モードを利用して第1のグループを構成し、前記イントラ予測モードグループ指示子が示すグループ内で、前記予測モードインデックスに対応するイントラ予測モードを現在ブロックのイントラ予測モードに決定し、前記予測ブロックの大きさは、変換大きさ情報によって決定されることを特徴とする。したがって、現在ブロックの左側及び上側ブロックの有効なイントラ予測モードによって現在ブロックのイントラ予測モードと同じ可能性が高いモードを第1のグループに含ませ、イントラ予測モードグループ指示子と予測モードインデックスを決定することで、符号化するイントラ予測モードの情報量を減らすことができる。

Description
本願明細書は、例えば、以下の項目も提供する。
(項目1)
現在ブロックのイントラ予測モードグループ指示子及び予測モードインデックスを復元するステップ;
現在ブロックの左側及び上側ブロックの有効なイントラ予測モードを利用して第1のグループ(MPMグループ)を構成するステップ;
前記イントラ予測モードグループ指示子が第1のグループを示す場合、前記第1のグループで前記予測モードインデックスに対応するイントラ予測モードを現在ブロックのイントラ予測モードに決定し、前記イントラ予測モードグループ指示子が第2のグループを示す場合、前記第2のグループで前記予測モードインデックスに対応するイントラ予測モードを現在ブロックのイントラ予測モードに決定するステップ;及び、
前記決定された現在ブロックのイントラ予測モードによって予測ブロックを生成するステップ;を含み、
前記予測ブロックの大きさは、変換大きさ情報によって決定されることを特徴とする映像復号化方法。
(項目2)
現在ブロックの上側及び左側ブロックのイントラ予測モードのうち一つのみが有効な場合、2個のイントラ予測モードが前記第1のグループに追加されることを特徴とする項目1に記載の映像復号化方法。
(項目3)
前記イントラ予測モードグループ指示子が第1のグループを示す場合、前記予測モードインデックスは、truncated unary方式(詳細な説明では、truncated Exp−Golomb code)に二進化されてエントロピー符号化されることを特徴とする項目2に記載のイントラ予測情報符号化方法。
(項目4)
前記追加される2個のイントラ予測モードは、前記有効なイントラ予測モードによって決定されることを特徴とする項目3に記載の映像復号化方法
(項目5)
現在ブロックの大きさが前記予測ブロックの大きさより大きい場合、前記現在ブロックに含まれる複数個の予測ブロックは、前記現在ブロックのイントラ予測モードを利用して生成されることを特徴とする項目2に記載の映像復号化方法。
(項目6)
前記複数個の予測ブロックのうち、復号化順序上、二番目以後の予測ブロックは、先行する予測ブロックを利用して復元されたブロックの画素のうち一部を参照画素として利用して生成されることを特徴とする項目5に記載の映像復号化方法。
Claims (8)
- 現在ブロックのイントラ予測モードグループ指示子及び予測モードインデックスを復元するステップ;
現在ブロックの左側及び上側ブロックの有効なイントラ予測モードを利用して3個のイントラ予測モードを含む第1のグループを構成するステップ;
前記イントラ予測モードグループ指示子が第1のグループを示す場合、前記第1のグループで前記予測モードインデックスに対応するイントラ予測モードを現在ブロックのイントラ予測モードに決定し、前記イントラ予測モードグループ指示子が第2のグループを示す場合、前記第2のグループで前記予測モードインデックスに対応するイントラ予測モードを現在ブロックのイントラ予測モードに決定するステップ;及び、
変換大きさ情報が、予測ブロックの大きさが現在ブロックの大きさと同じであることを示す場合、前記決定された現在ブロックのイントラ予測モードを利用して一つの予測ブロックを生成し、前記変換大きさ情報が、予測ブロックの大きさが現在ブロックの大きさより小さいことを示す場合、前記決定された現在ブロックのイントラ予測モードを利用して複数個の予測ブロックを生成するステップ;を含み、
現在ブロックの上側及び左側ブロックのイントラ予測モードのうち一つのみが有効な場合、前記有効なイントラ予測モードによって決定される2個のイントラ予測モードが前記第1のグループに追加されることを特徴とする映像復号化方法。 - 前記イントラ予測モードグループ指示子が第1のグループを示す場合、前記予測モードインデックスは、truncated unary方式(詳細な説明では、truncated Exp−Golomb code)に二進化されてエントロピー符号化されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の映像復号化方法。
- 現在ブロックのイントラ予測モードが垂直モードの場合、左側参照画素に隣接する前記予測ブロックの予測画素は、前記左側参照画素及びコーナー参照画素により変更されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の映像復号化方法。
- 現在ブロックのイントラ予測モードが水平モードの場合、上側参照画素に隣接する前記予測ブロックの予測画素は、前記上側参照画素及びコーナー参照画素により変更されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の映像復号化方法。
- 前記複数個の予測ブロックのうち、復号化順序上、二番目以後の予測ブロックは、先行する予測ブロックを利用して復元されたブロックの画素のうち一部を参照画素として利用して生成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の映像復号化方法。
- 前記左側及び上側ブロックのイントラ予測モードが互いに異なり、且つ方向性モードの場合、前記第1のグループは、前記左側及び上側ブロックのイントラ予測モード及びプラナーモードを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の映像復号化方法。
- 前記左側及び上側ブロックのイントラ予測モードが互いに異なり、且つ非方向性モードの場合、前記第1のグループは、前記左側及び上側ブロックのイントラ予測モード及び垂直モードを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の映像復号化方法。
- 前記非方向性モードは、プラナーモードとDCモードであり、モード番号0が前記プラナーモードに割り当てられ、モード番号1が前記DCモードに割り当てられることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の映像復号化方法。
