Abstract
【解決手段】印加電圧のオン/オフにより鏡面状態又は透明状態に変化する調光ミラー層と、前記印加電圧のオン/オフをそれぞれ所定の時間間隔で可変的に行う制御回路と、を具備し、前記透明状態の時間を人の目の時間分解能以下とすることによって、鏡面状態の前記調光ミラー層に映る像と、透明状態の前記調光ミラー層を透過して見える背後の像とが、残像効果によって二重に見えること、を特徴とする調光ミラー装置。

Claims (5)
- 印加電圧のオン/オフ又は極の切換えにより鏡面状態又は透明状態に変化する調光ミラー層と、
前記印加電圧のオン/オフ又は極の切換えをそれぞれ所定の時間間隔で可変的に行う制御回路と、を具備し、
前記透明状態の時間を人の目の時間分解能付近の残像効果を伴う時間とすることによって、鏡面状態の前記調光ミラー層に映る像と、透明状態の前記調光ミラー層を透過して見える背後の像とが、残像効果によって二重に見えること、
を特徴とする調光ミラー装置。 - 前記透明状態の時間が20ms〜200msであること、を特徴とする請求項1に記載の調光ミラー装置。
- 前記透明状態の時間が50ms〜100msであること、を特徴とする請求項1に記載の調光ミラー装置。
- 前記調光ミラー層の背後に設けられた光源を含むこと、を特徴とする請求項1〜3のうちのいずれかに記載の調光ミラー装置。
- 請求項1〜4のうちのいずれかに記載の調光ミラー装置を含むことを特徴とする表示装置。
