Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to improvements in solenoid valves and shock absorbers.
Conventionally, as a damping force adjustment valve that can adjust the damping force of a shock absorber mounted on a vehicle while traveling, a spool valve is inserted into the inner periphery of a cylindrical piston rod, and this spool valve is driven by a solenoid. There is something to do.
Specifically, the damping force adjusting valve has a cylindrical piston rod whose tip faces the pressure side chamber of the shock absorber, and is provided with a port that opens from the position facing the extension side chamber, and extends through this port and the inside of the piston rod. The side chamber and the pressure side chamber are communicated with each other, and a cylindrical spool valve having an orifice hole that can face the port is inserted into the piston rod. The damping force adjustment valve adjusts the damping force generated by the shock absorber by changing the lap area of the port and the orifice hole by driving the spool valve in the axial direction within the piston rod with a solenoid. (For example, refer to Patent Document 1).
By the way, when the hydraulic oil passes through the orifice hole, the faster the hydraulic oil flows, the lower the pressure. Here, when the lap area of the port and orifice hole is reduced with the spool valve, the spool valve is moved so that the side of the spool valve faces the port, but if the lap area is reduced, the flow rate must change. As a result, the flow of hydraulic oil passing through the orifice hole becomes faster. If the lap area of the orifice hole and the port end are reduced to such an extent that they wrap, the flow of hydraulic oil passing through the orifice hole becomes faster at the end of the orifice hole, resulting in a pressure drop. Since the pressure acting on the entire circumference of the wall surface of the orifice hole is not uniform, a force in the direction of reducing the lap area acts on the spool valve.
On the other hand, the solenoid is provided with a spring for urging the spool valve, and drives the spool valve to a position where the suction force generated when energized and the urging force of the spring are balanced. For this reason, when considering driving the spool valve with a solenoid, when the lap area between the port and the orifice hole is reduced, if the flow velocity flowing through them increases, the pressure drop due to the liquid flow causes the spool valve to The force (fluid force) in the direction of closing is increased.
The flow velocity increases when the upstream pressure becomes high. In the conventional solenoid valve, a large fluid force against the thrust of the solenoid acts on the spool valve at a high pressure, and the spool valve There is a problem that the flow rate is controlled by a solenoid at a high pressure and the maximum flow rate is lowered while moving in the valve closing direction.
Therefore, the present invention has been made to solve the above-described problems, and the object of the present invention is to provide a solenoid valve and a shock absorber that can control the flow rate even at a high pressure and can ensure the maximum flow rate. Is to provide.
In order to achieve the above object, a solenoid valve in the problem solving means of the present invention includes a valve sleeve having a hollow portion communicated with an upstream passage and a downstream port opened from the outside and communicated with the hollow portion. A spool valve having a spool port that is cylindrical and is inserted into the hollow portion so as to be movable in the axial direction and that opens from the side and communicates with the upstream passage and the downstream port. A solenoid capable of adjusting the degree of communication between the spool port and the downstream port by driving the spool valve in an axial direction; and communicating the upstream passage between the valve sleeve and the spool valve with the downstream port. A leak gap is provided.
In the solenoid valve of the present invention, the upstream passage is communicated with the downstream port by bypassing the spool port and through the leak gap, so that the pressure from the leak gap side acts on the spool port. . That is, since the pressure propagating from the leakage gap side acts on the wall surface of the spool port, the pressure distribution in the spool port is less biased than in the case where there is no leakage gap. The bias of the acting pressure is less biased, and the force of pushing the spool valve in the valve closing direction is reduced as compared with the case where no leakage gap is provided.
Therefore, in the solenoid valve and the shock absorber according to the present invention, the flow rate can be controlled even when the pressure is high, and the maximum flow rate can be secured.
The present invention will be described below based on the embodiments shown in the drawings. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the
In this embodiment, the
In this example, the shock absorber D further includes a vehicle
Further, a
As shown in FIG. 1, the shock absorber D includes a
In more detail, the
A
The
The reservoir R is formed in the space L and outside the buffer D, and the reservoir R is filled with liquid and gas. The pressure-
Next, the
The
A
The
When the
Further, seal rings 25 and 26 are mounted in the

The
In the case of this embodiment, the
The range where at least the spool port 7a is provided from one end of the
Further, the spool port 7a is a long hole along the axial direction of the
In the case of this

An annular

The
Further, the
Further, the outer periphery of the
Further, the inner diameter of the

The biasing

When the
While the vehicle is traveling, a large acceleration in the vertical direction acts on the shock absorber D. Since the direction of this acceleration substantially coincides with the moving direction of the
Specifically, in the
Returning to the above, when the
In this lowest position, the spool port 7a of the
In this embodiment, the
The resistance applied to the flow of the liquid that is about to pass through the damping
Next, the operation of the shock absorber D configured as described above will be described. When the shock absorber D in which the
On the contrary, when the shock absorber D in which the
That is, in this embodiment, in the
In this
Here, when the leakage gap N is not provided, since the liquid passes only through the spool port 7a and the
On the other hand, in the
Therefore, in the
Subsequently, the conditions for the clearance of the leakage gap N will be described. An experiment in which the differential pressure between the upstream side and the downstream side of the
In the flow rate pressure characteristic of FIG. 5, the vertical axis represents the flow rate (L / min), the horizontal axis represents the differential pressure (MPa) between the upstream side and the downstream side of the
From this flow rate pressure characteristic diagram, when the clearance of the leakage gap N is 10 μm, as shown by the line C, the flow rate increases when the differential pressure is increased, but the flow rate rapidly decreases when the differential pressure exceeds a certain pressure. I understand that. This is because when the differential pressure increases, the pressure balance in the spool port 7a is biased, the
On the other hand, when the clearance of the leakage gap N is 30 μm, as shown by the line B, the flow rate does not increase as the differential pressure increases, but the flow rate does not become zero. That is, the force to move the
When the clearance of the leak gap N is 60 μm, as shown by the line A, the
Note that when the clearance of the leakage gap N is larger than 60 μm, the flow rate of the liquid passing through the leakage gap N increases, and a desired attenuation characteristic cannot be obtained.
Therefore, it is desirable that the clearance between the
In the present embodiment, since the
In the
Therefore, according to the
The
Further, one
In the
Since the spool port 7a is provided in the
Further, by providing the spool port 7a in the
Further, by setting the range H in which the
Further, the
In the
In addition, the
From the above, since the
Further, since the
In the present embodiment, since the
In the
In the above description, the outer diameter of the
The shock absorber D in the present embodiment includes a vehicle
The shock absorber D includes a
Furthermore, the shock absorber D in the present embodiment is provided with an
As described above, the
Further, when the damping
As described above, the flow passage area of the damping
Further, the
