Abstract
Description
[0001]油および水を含有する混合物から、または油、水および固体を含有する混合物から油を取り出すことができる。例えば、代替燃料市場では、三相分離装置を使用して水相および固相から油相を分離する企業もある。他の分離法には、例えば、1つまたは複数の遠心分離機を使用することが含まれる。

Claims (7)
- (a)第1の多孔質面と;
(b)第2の多孔質面と;
(c)前記第1の多孔質面と前記第2の多孔質面との間の多孔質バルクと
を備える多孔質膜であって、
少なくとも前記第1の多孔質面が粒子被覆を備え、前記被覆中の前記粒子が約25ダイン/cm(約2.5×10−2N/m)以下の臨界湿潤表面張力(CWST)を有する多孔質膜。 - 前記粒子がPTFE粒子を備える、請求項1に記載の膜。
- 前記粒子が約25ダイン/cm(約2.5×10−2N/m)〜約16ダイン/cm(約1.6×10−2N/m)の範囲のCWSTを有する、請求項1または2に記載の膜。
- 前記被覆下の前記膜が、約23ダイン/cm(約2.3×10−2N/m)〜約78ダイン/cm(約7.8×10−2N/m)の範囲のCWSTを有する、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の膜。
- 流体混合物から有機相を取り出す方法であって、不連続有機相および連続水相の混合物を含む流体を請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の膜の前記第1の面に対して接線方向に進めるステップと、前記水相を前記膜の前記第1の面と平行に進めながら、前記有機相を前記膜の前記第1および第2の面に通過させるステップと、を備える方法。
- 前記混合物が固相をさらに備え、前記方法が前記水相および前記固相を前記膜の前記第1の面と平行に進めながら、前記有機相を前記膜の前記第1および第2の面に通過させるステップを備える、請求項5に記載の方法。
- (a)入口と、濃縮液出口を含む第1の出口と、透過液出口を含む第2の出口とを含み、前記入口と前記第1の出口との間の第1の流体流路を規定し;前記入口と前記第2の出口との間の第2の流体流路を規定する筐体と;
(b)前記第1の流体流路を横切って前記筐体内に配置されている、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の多孔質膜と
を含む、クロスフローフィルタモジュール。
